- Our first tale is of people who could fly. Pilots they're called, and they're called to the sky.
Games shown in this video, in order of appearance:
- VTOL VR
- A Township Tale (very briefly)
- Helldivers II - เกม
And now there's a test release that adds weather into the game and a overhaul of the radio and laser guidance system.. allowing you to tune your radio to an ILS frequency, set up a private frequency with friends and buddylasering your laserguided missiles.
im glad this game is getting more reconigtion, i’ve had ir for almost 3 years now and i love it, i play it almost every day
ive literally been watching operator drewski call it "the best vr game on the market and it isn't even close" for years but somehow only thought to pick it up recently.
It's so good. My most played game on steam.
I just got into this and my god its perfect blend. Easy to jump in and play, no special flight sticks required and with Quest 2 VR and my computer I can play anywhere thanks to VD for Quest. Now I just need to see if my dad will bite on this. I need someone to play with
Unfortunately there's one thing that's always forgotten about and that is that sometimes its better to be high than to be low. At 40,000 and close to mach 1 you can fire your missiles way, way further. I prefer to do this in the EF-24 and lob AIM-88s like 40 miles and jamming everything. Its even better for glide bombs and AMRAAMs
I was very surprised by the quality of the video.
You’d think with such low following this channel wouldn’t have this kind of professionalism.
I - for one - was happily surprised.
Agreed. You got a sub.
i was the 100th like and i goto say. this video deserves every one of them and way more.
Great video, keep it up ❤
I'd like to try this game but it looks so intimidating.
it is difficult to learn everything, but the barrier to entry is actually really low. simply getting into the air and flying around can be done easily after doing a single in game tutorial or watching a single guide on youtube. also the community is super friendly, if you join any free fly server and ask for help on radio there will be people willing to do so. there might even be someone willing to take you in the dlc tandem cockpit trainer jet
It's made as straightforward as possible. Don't miss this one.
Dawg trust this is such a simple game to learn just how to fly the combat is more difficult but if you devote even a few hours you can get good.
Earned ya a sub! Do you have a link to the combat callout overview?
Also i think you forgot this when talking about the details of the jets: unlike dcs which is the most popular and most realistic fighter game vtol vr simulates radar cross section dynamically. This means that its harder to detect an aircraft when its heading straight at you than it is when its bottom is facing your radar
The callouts list originates here: www.reddit.com/r/vtolvr/comments/vsns9c/a_simple_guide_for_callouts_and_terminology/ , although we increased the size of the creator's watermark in post.
that's what i love about this game. the controls and graphics are simplified making it easy to get into but there is still incredible depth in the way things like electromagnetic radiation are simulated
Which headset and controller do you use? You moved single fingers how did you do that?
The Valve Index with the Knuckles controllers allow for that, but VTOL also has a hand position system that you can use for non-Index users as well.
ik it was for the poem but rockets dont "seek"
Heatseekers enter the chat:
missiles indeed do seek
they seek destruction
Rockets no, missiles yes! You can set aim-120 to pitbull mode where it looks for the first thing it can find, including any friendly along the way
