- This case is beautiful, without a doubt! I would normally create a "review" for this kind of product; but seeing as though only a few obvious things were changed, I figured I'd feature the case in an upcoming build log and tout its upgrades - namely tempered glass, interior painting, side-mounted SSD tray, and affordable price tag.
In reference to the note in this video, the motherboard I'm currently using (the MSI Krait X99) doesn't contain an extra slot in-between both 16x lanes, which means that - no matter what - at least one of the cards will be starved of air. If I move the lower card down to the next available PCIe slot, it'll be wedged against the basement. An extension sleeve or new motherboard is in order. As for the SLI bridge, it will be replaced as well. Cosmetically, those are the only disappointments with this build.

I know this is a bit off topic but I was hoping you would be able to answer a question regarding upgrading my gpu.
I currently have a R9 390X and I was looking into getting a R9 Fury. Would that upgrade be worth it?

well any product can be defective and burn something, it's usually rare no matter what. so while yeah i personally wouldn't have gone with another hue+ just because of superstition, the chances of it happening again aren't really worth caring about.

I saw on JayzTwoCents that EVGA 1070's and 1080's have temp problems...Check it out Salazar before the white-black theme goes only black :D
Labrinos Kalliakoudas my evga 1080 had massive thermal issues. returned them for Asus 1080 strix. it's a shame. the evga were better otherwise

Labrinos Kalliakoudas problem is with the ASUS customer support its no way near as good as EVGA. but yeah, enjoying the new features. It overclocks so well
So can you get any money from NZXT for frying all your old stuff?
Hes not broke, dunno why everyone thinks that, just because some of his stuff got fried doesn't mean hes ruined, he makes money off youtube, he also got almost 1100 back for the 6900k, spent only 750 at micro center, maybe he grabbed a new case after wards.
Onion Rings Yeah but still money doesn't grow on trees and the computers were quite expensive and there product fried the computers. Even if I had all the money in the world I would still like my money back because it was NZXT's fault not his.
College isn't cheap
x99 Motherboards, sort from cheapest to most expensive, find two white ones, that's how much money he lost. Throw in a 1000w psu. That's a lot of fuckin money down the drain regardless of how rich\poor you are.
Its not the point, its that a faulty part from NZXT destroyed other parts on his system. They should be liable for it. Their faulty part cost him hundreds of dollars not to mention time and stress. I'm sure someone from NZXT saw his videos they should have reached out and made it right. It's the principle of the matter and while he could afford it, others may not be so lucky. I myself recently had PC issues that involved multiple parts needed to be replaced. I didn't have the money to go right out and replace it. I built my rig on a combo of tax return and saving up with OT. I don't have the funds on a whim to put into my rig. If not for my generous roommate I would still be waiting for the next few months till next tax season to get it back up and running. If my issue was NZXT Hue.. I'd be fuming pissed.

Strongly disagree. I'm not afraid of stickers.
Nothing to do with afraid, just ruins the aesthetics of a full side panel window. Also, will probably leave that common tear when removing most stickers, resulting in you eventually having to scratch glass. Don't matter, it was given to you anyways.
Salazar Studio it adds personality and uniqueness to an other wise plain glass side panel
Ham Sandwich it's all about personal preference and if you don't think it's looks good don't do it on your case

How are the temps on the 1070's being that close to each other?
I would be much more worried about the VRMs.
Martín Varela After the VBIOS update they released should keep the temps below risk of damage. Even then with 2 1070s FTW I doubt they will ever get to the point where they'll get that hot.
The test that was used to get the FTW cards to the temperature was an EXTREME stress scenario.
There's also warranty on all ACX 3.0 cards.

cusson2I I think you're underestimating long term damage. Whatever, a burned card is still a lot of downtime (thankfully they won't fail at the same time). I'd recommend checking "Actually hardcore overclocking" channel. The guy has some important words about all this.
They didnt skip on pads that is just there excuse for a bad cooling solution putting heat pads on chokes and the back plate to make contact with a PCB to dissipate heat is not ideal it just a hotfix that happens to help, fact is they have a history at EVGA of making bad design choices with cooling solutions on there top tier cards if it was not for there good customer support they would have gone broke a long time ago
but you have to have good customer support when your cards have such a poor history every gen there first batches always sucked 970/980 heat pipes were faulty research it EVGA are not the best NVIDIA AIB partner at all

The SC version lacks thermal pads on the affected parts. Source: Watercooling my 1080 SC.
It is every ACX 3 model, so yes it is a problem. EVGA have acknowledged the issue on 22 models from the 1060 3gb up.

I have the non-Elite S340 and I love it. I got it in black and blue though, so dust inside the case is very noticeable. But that's a good thing, so I know when to clean it.

I've had my NZXT s340 for two months and when I was building my rig I put the acrylic window on my bed only to discover it had lite scratches on it! I was kind of shocked. I may ring NZXT to get a replacement or by an aftermarket window make from better material
I'll keep my fingers crossed for updates on the old rigs!

Glad to see you back on your feet. You lucked out that you didn't fry that CPU as that would have been painful.
I really hope this case is available in Argentina soon and it ain't too overpriced. The only thing that ruins the perfect aesthetics for me is the top fan grill. At least they should have added a dust filter to conceal it a bit.
