@@astwas The thrown one might survive but the one that got kicked is definitely dead. I mean, Hela can literally crush an Asgardian with his helmet so her kick might have snapped his spine or something
What I *loved* about Cate and her fighting style of Hela: She's brutal and violent, but GRACEFUL. A dancer. She does an aerial to dodge and simultaneously fires swords from her body. At one point she does a grande battement (BIG BALLET KICK) and arches her spine into a backbend in order to clear 4 men surrounding her. Even when she kicks, it's like she's a girl tossing around dolls. This is why her and Wanda are my favorite female characters/antagonists. Their body language is total opposite of Cap or Tony where it's just punch and punch and punch and kick. Hela doesn't need her *hands* like Wanda either. She can backflip away from danger leaving behind blades, or straight up pull the sword out of her spine, and use it to kill the next person.
Anyone could've played this thinly written, scenary-chewing caricature of Hela. The real CB Hela, though... Yeah, that one would require actual acting chops to play. A melancholic, ambivalent, eerie dark figure who plays no favoritisms when it comes life and earth and has no grasp on the concept of life and acts merely as an instrument in the construct of life and death.
We're supposed to be seeing this from the army's perspective. You've been given the alert that the city was invaded, and there stands this woman who tells you the king and his sons are dead, and then goes on to give this nonsensical speech. It's to highlight how ridiculous the whole thing is😂.
This scene is very underrated, Remember they have fought lots of wars for Asgard along with Odin and never lost. And Hela defeated them all alone shows how powerful she is.

I always hated how they downgraded Asgard over the movies. Like when watching coronation of Thor in the first Movie there were literally thousands of warriors+thousands of citizens attending it. And also there were other soldiers protecting Asgard in various places, but here it looks like 300 spartans went vs Hela🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Also, when the Asgard destroyed in the end. I dunno but they made it look like they saved everyone but I bet a LOT didn't make it in the ship and just died there. Even the numbers in Loki is questionable I believe. Pretty sure there's MORE
@@trofjaeotjfjswifb4576 Asgard didnt have army consisting of THOUSENTS of soldiers, their army is probably around 1000-1500 in war time, probably even less. The whole population of asgard is 9000-10k people. For example, the percentage of the people in army from the whole population of US is 1%, meaning asgards army could be much smaller, probabky in the hundreds of men, but seeing how asgard resembles feudalistic societies and is heavily militaristic, the number 15-20% is more accurate, seeing how that was usually the percentage out of the whole population which could medieval states muster in war time. Two things: One. Don't know why Hela is so charismathic, but I was really rooting for her in most scenes. It was sad how all the time she thought that only Odin was against her and then found out that even though she was the rightful heir to the throne she had to crush the army to rule. Such a waste to kill her in one movie. I was hoping to see more of her. Two. My respect for the warriors of Asgard. There was no way that they could have won that battle. If it were me, if I didn't already joined her, I would have fled or beg for mercy when she destroyed the first wave of soldiers and the ships.
If you had not been one of those who attacked her and pledged your loyalty to her...she would have spared you. She killed everyone as in her mind, they committed treason to the thrown of Asgard and as such warranted the death penalty.

2:17 she kicks one and tosses the other one without stabbing them
@@astwas The thrown one might survive but the one that got kicked is definitely dead.

They needed scenes like this in Love and Thunder to portray how strong and deadly Gorr was.
Gorr was done so dirty in that movie he’s literally more powerful than both thanos and hela!
Exactly. Gorr the God Butcher should have gotten the same treatment as was Hela.

Two things:
One. Don't know why Hela is so charismathic, but I was really rooting for her in most scenes.
