After everything that happened between Thor and Loki right from the first Thor film in 2011 till Ragnarok, it was heartbreaking to see Loki die just a few hours after this battle considering the fact that both the brothers had reconciled

This scene encapsulates everything I love about the MCU. A couple of witty/campy lines, emotional moments, subtle humour, and over-the-top crazy action. Not to mention the OST when Thor is talking to Odin is incredibly beautiful. If only Love and Thunder could have lived up to Ragnarok.

To be fair he thought he had pretty much beaten her with the lightning bolt he summoned right when he got his powers back. That's why when she shows back up he questions that she survived the most badass of lightning bolts or something along those lines.

Not sure if anyone noticed, but as Odin spoke with Thor, the sky was blackening as if a storm is approaching. Foreshadowing Thor unlocking his true powers.
What I loved about this movie was the humor. They really prepared you for the tragedy and horror of Infinity War and Endgame with a lighthearted, silly yet brilliantly done movie. Ragnarok was the best standalone Thor movie by far.
I think they should have had slightly less humor, they spaced it perfectly to making me disconnect from the seriousness of the movie every time I leaned forward. But this scene was still breathtaking for me.
I think this movie could have been a lot better without that level of humor. They could have done something like a God of War plot, I mean, it's a fight between Gods of the same family.
Aside from whatever the story brings you emotionally, playing Led Zeppelin as Thor flies in surrounded by lightning has got to be one of the coolest things Ive ever witnessed.
That look on loki's face is so beautiful. Its one of the few. " thats my brother " look on his face. He was so proud. He is saying so much with that look. Amazing.
Though many may consider The battle of Wakanda Thor's best moment, for me this is one of the best action scenes in the history of MCU. It also truly shows Thor fully unlocking and using his powers without Mjolnir and realizing that it's him with power not his hammer. Brilliant.
It's a great scene. Too bad the writers and directors forgot about it in subsequent movies. I understand Thor's powers weren't enough against Thanos, and that's why he needed Stormbreaker. I think Stormbreaker is awesome. But in Love and Thunder, we saw Thor fight without a weapon in several scenes and he never uses his innate lightning to the extent he does here. Not even close. It's like Iron Man 3 and Age of Ultron: Stark blew up all his suits as a sign of character development, and one movie later he's got a new arsenal of suits. Character development only matters if you stick with it.
There is a lot more going on here, which makes it the best scene ever. Not only is Thor realizing his power and thus completing his arc for the film, all the other characters complete their arcs in the same scene - Valkyrie, Loki, Hulk, Skurge. A few moments later, even Surtur completes his arc by laying waste to Asgard. There has not been a more satisfying bitter-sweet ending to a movie in a long time.

But only Tony can reproduce the suit, if that makes sense, so this random person is nothing without the suit in the end. Many other wouldn't have been as powerful without a miracle happen to them. I think Thanos was constantly monitoring cosmic events... grabbing the power stone from Xandar right after it had had a big battle with Ronan (which was pretty much orchestrated by Thanos), then going after the Asgardians right after the Hela/Surtur events (Thanos may even have been monitoring Loki ever since Avengers movie) to get to the space stone
People say that Thor's entry in Wakanda (Infinity War) was best. But what makes this scene great is the music. And not to forget Valkarie with fireworks in the background was stylish as hell.

Getting stormbreaker doesn't undo ragnarok. He knew his powers came from him but he also learned in the beginning of infinity war that his power alone was not enough. He needed something that could kill thanos. So he went to get stormbreaker. He doesn't rely on it to get his powers like he did with mjolnir.
He didn't need storm breaker for more power storm breaker was supposed to specifically kill Thanos cause magic can't effect it and Thanos with the full force of infinity gauntlet couldn't over power it (not saying he couldn't have used it in a better way ) bottom line storm breaker deals planetary level hits that's why he needed it

The Led Zeppelin's Immigrant Song is perfect for this part of the movie. I cant think of a better song to be played it just helps the fight explode. Down right amazing placement.
I like how Thor when he came back to earth went to SHIELD and be like "Alright, I've got the people of Asgard and they are homeless now. I will need documents and everything for them"
I still had fun watching Love and Thunder, but it definitely wasn't on Ragnarok's level. I said to someone "I felt like Jane's cancer was given less emotional weight than Thor losing Mjolnir in Ragnarok." And that's why this scene feels so triumphant, because Thor actually had to overcome something that felt weighty.

As whoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall posses the power of Thor, but of course Thor already possesses the power of Thor. So anyone wearing Tony's suit will possess the power Tony has with the suit, given he'd be given permission to use it. But only Tony can reproduce the suit, if that makes sense, so this random person is nothing without the suit in the end.
Many other wouldn't have been as powerful without a miracle happen to them. Interestingly, Tony was just a genius and in quite a bad situation. I just wanted to add this for no particular reason other than that my mind had gone this way haha.

The fact that they just won a battle against thor’s sister and then thanos came along not long after that is just tiring ,like give asgardian people some break
I think Thanos was constantly monitoring cosmic events... grabbing the power stone from Xandar right after it had had a big battle with Ronan (which was pretty much orchestrated by Thanos), then going after the Asgardians right after the Hela/Surtur events (Thanos may even have been monitoring Loki ever since Avengers movie) to get to the space stone

Getting stormbreaker doesn't undo ragnarok. He knew his powers came from him but he also learned in the beginning of infinity war that his power alone was not enough. He needed something that could kill thanos. So he went to get stormbreaker. He doesn't rely on it to get his powers like he did with mjolnir.

I still had fun watching Love and Thunder, but it definitely wasn't on Ragnarok's level. I said to someone "I felt like Jane's cancer was given less emotional weight than Thor losing Mjolnir in Ragnarok."
