Besides they made the door at some point, placed em there . and if two warrior can hold a door up. After watching the Snyder cut version of this scene, the Amazonians sacrifice doesn’t feel as heavy here. You can literally feel the weight and the despair in the moments the Snyder cut takes to let it sink in that these women gave their lives in what they knew was a suicide mission, which makes Steppenwolfes reappearance all the more terrifying. Here they don’t even give you a moment to process what just happened it instantly just cuts from the temple fight scene to the chase.

The Snyder Cut is also a bunch of reshoots and editing out of stuff that fans reacted negatively to the first time around. There's plenty of bad content in both versions that comes from Snyder, and it's a very poor indictment of Snyder that after a whole new edit and a massive reshoot budget they turned the movie from "not good" into "ehh, ok I guess?".

Tbh, only a few of them wore those types of costumes and the reason is obviously to show off their incredibly impressive muscle definition to highlight exactly how strong ad powerful they are and I appreciated every fucking second of that. Women need to see more of women with jacked af bodies.
Add to that that the fact that the Amazon women in the mid riff bearing armor are specifically the ones who irl are body builders, I think they got a great deal. Also, the ancient Greeks weren't exactly known for their love of covering up. Amd that's what the Amazon's are. Also, it draws a feeling of "this is Sparta" so, get over the skin. It's just skin. A woman with a midriff and legs exposed does not equate a sexual object unless she is being objectified in the eye of the beholder.

I like the outfits but I hate how ineffective the Amazons are made to look. They are warriors with literal magic items at their disposal and 1000s of year to plan for Steppenwolf's return. They should be able to accomplish things without dying immediately after. It's really gross that they made a nation of heroines look weak but everyone seems to only care about what they are wearing. EDIT: They literally stand around doing nothing for ages after Steppenwolf shows up, and *still* don't fire any arrows or attack after the parademons start killing them.

The Snyder Cut is also a bunch of reshoots and editing out of stuff that fans reacted negatively to the first time around. There's plenty of bad content in both versions that comes from Snyder, and it's a very poor indictment of Snyder that after a whole new edit and a massive reshoot budget they turned the movie from "not good" into "ehh, ok I guess?".

Tbh, only a few of them wore those types of costumes and the reason is obviously to show off their incredibly impressive muscle definition to highlight exactly how strong ad powerful they are and I appreciated every fucking second of that. Women need to see more of women with jacked af bodies.
Add to that that the fact that the Amazon women in the mid riff bearing armor are specifically the ones who irl are body builders, I think they got a great deal. Also, the ancient Greeks weren't exactly known for their love of covering up. Amd that's what the Amazon's are. Also, it draws a feeling of "this is Sparta" so, get over the skin. It's just skin. A woman with a midriff and legs exposed does not equate a sexual object unless she is being objectified in the eye of the beholder.

I like the outfits but I hate how ineffective the Amazons are made to look. They are warriors with literal magic items at their disposal and 1000s of year to plan for Steppenwolf's return. They should be able to accomplish things without dying immediately after. It's really gross that they made a nation of heroines look weak but everyone seems to only care about what they are wearing.
EDIT: They literally stand around doing nothing for ages after Steppenwolf shows up, and *still* don't fire any arrows or attack after the parademons start killing them.
