    Ive been able to save hard to replace 1993-1997 Gen4 camaro interior parts thanks to learning from you how to fiberglass them to make them stronger. Question would it not have been more easier to modify the dash pad with the front window out and do you have the ability to remove the front window for projects like this one going forward

    • @jntcustomcars
      @jntcustomcars 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would assume that he would have not found out that the dash did not fit if window was out. But since it was in he realized the wood hit the windshield.

    • @SprayWayCustoms

    Seriously, I have worked on these cars and interiors most of my life.. From stereos to full restorations, hydraulics back in the day, rebuilding motors.. you name it.. I am in awe of how you are able to rebuild these and still capture the OG lines and feel on these cars and at the same time give them a modern spin that doesnt alienate the vibe of the car.. A true craftsman.

      as long as you take care of it as you would the outside of your car it will last forever and also use a windshield cover inside to protect the dash or if you can do a 50% tint on you windshield to cut down on the sun beating down on it!!!!

    Proof that because someone makes something look easy it doesn’t mean it is easy. Most people would be tempted to skip steps here and there but you won’t get the SprayWay results. The bedliner texture is genius, made it look as if it’s leather or vinyl wrapped from the factory. That orange is a mean color, my favorite 2nd only to the Corvettes “torch red” which has a hint of orange as well so it pops. The final result is flat out amazing. This man is a true craftsman and artist. Bravo SprayWay.

    Great work!!! Just a tad bit of advice for someone watching and needing some tips. If you dont have much experience using resin, using the minimum amount of hardener will give you more time to use the resin before it starts to harden up. Also another tip when using the fiberglass mat, the mat will blend together better if you tear the edges versus cutting. The strands will join back together giving you seamless results. Again this is for people new to the process.
