Another home project completed. This one would probably take a day and a half (or just one day for the more experienced). I had to fit it in a weekend with other things going on but it all worked out in the end. Time is EVERYTHING. Money is a tool...and you can't afford to waste either one!

There's a trick for installing around door frames..but watch your head!
Thank you ! A very well explained video. I do appreciate it.
Thanks so much 😊
Very informative. Thank you
@15:25 would it not have been possible to trace the cutout for the door frame in the end of the plank on the left and slide it down the groove from the end with a rubber mallet?
@@tomsittler1791 yes, I used that method in the next video I did installing the next floor!
Hi, thanks for the video! Would you still need to install these as floating panels if the room is built with concrete or you’re in a place without much weather fluctuation?
1.75x is your friend.
how many sqft is your room? and how much did it cost to do it yourself?
You can not paint over wax, don't use it to fill nail holes in the quarter round.
Well the quarter round he's using is the same style as the flooring, so i don't think he's planning on painting it.
Do you have links for the amazon stuff?
If I planned on removing and repainting the siding pieces could I forgo using quarter rounds since I’ll be able to get in deeper to the wall with the LVP?
Yes you could 86 the quarter round
How many hours of labor did the entire carpet & vinyl take you?
Probably 6 or 7 hrs total time. The next room took less time. The more you do it, the quicker it goes!
Wish I could do this to my apartment
DO IT!
@@GROVELAND i doubt they’ll allow it
@@GROVELAND do HOA for condo allow it?
@@bestcity0979 i would ask them. We're in an HOA for twin houses and we only need approval for anything exterior
@@bestcity0979 i have no idea. better check the bylaws. I'm in an HOA but we only need approval for what goes on outside of the house, basically
Much less camera movement would be good.
