Thank You Remax for Will 's Great Commentary on Real Estate & Tourism in Belize. Since my daughter is going to be visiting Belize this month, I told her to hit you up on your Webinar and let you know how much fun she's having. I'll be going to visit with my daughter on the next trip, now that you'll be on the Webinar giving out more and more information, it's a great asset to know what to look for when visiting Belize. Thank you
Hey Tyler, thanks for reaching out. The commercial free trade zone has several benefits when purchasing goods but they don't have a ton of items. Anything specific that you want to know if they have?
@@WillMitchellBelize Thanks for your quick response. Nothing specific. Just wondering what the area will be like. My family and I are planning on moving out of the USA and the 2 countries we are looking at are Belize and Costa Rica. We have seen your video on comparing the 2. I like what I see. We really like the freedom of choosing our health care options (if you catch my drift) in Costa Rica. When we sale our house we plan on traveling to see what area we like best. Once we find our new home we like to buy our home and 1 or 2 investment properties. Do banks in Belize have mortgages? Or what would you suggest?
Free wifi in town center park. You get 60 minutes free per day. Broadband is pretty good. You'll pay more for less, but I can't complain. Power is good. If you build far from existing power lines, it will cost you to have lines installed. I'm not sure there is a "municipal" water supply. Most gather it from rain or wells. Well water is VERY hard water and you will want a water softener. Bottled water is cheap.
Thank you Will for your quick response. My daughter is the Belize traveler, not me. I wish I was going with her, but it's a student trip. I'll be going on the next trip if she decides to go again. I did Share your Webinar with her already. She's was happy to get good information about her trip to Belize soon. Thanks a lot, we'll keep in touch.
Corozal is a great place, BUT I think you are talking about apples and oranges. Why, because when you are talking you should mention this is Corozal Town. I live with many expats in Corozal township in the village of Sarteneja. Which is now a seller's market. Just saying that Corozal is much much more than just Corozal Town. Belize it. Ron Manuel
Will, in practical terms where do American and Canadian expats fit in to such communities, especially needing some of the day to day infrastructure and amenities that they can find in Mexico, especially retired older folks, who think about medical needs? In very practical terms. Thanks.
Not sure if Will responded? I don’t live there but have done 4 years researching various communities and my wife and I were just there before Christmas for a month. There are many expat communities in Corozal. They are safe. The people of Belize are very welcoming, didn’t matter where we were, Island or mainland. Cerros Sands was my favourite so far but I have not seen them all! As far as medical, apparently it can be quite expansive and limited in Belize. Most Belizeans I met go to Mexico for treatments or procedures. General health care is good locally.
not really the bay is only about 18ft deep at the most so almost any storm just dies off Lived here now over 3yrs-wonderful little town with very friendly laid back people
Been struggling to get someone I can deal with in Corozal. I'm in South Africa. My interest is farming, hence interest in Corozal. Would you be interested in assisting?
This video tells you most of what you need to know about Corozal Town.I was there a few years ago and will be back after Covid.I fell in love with the place and was hoping to retire there and its a perfect place to do that. Its not a tourist place because there isn't lots to do and there isn't really a beach but if you want a laid back slower pace to life then Corozal Town fits the bill.
i thought they used the USD down there? who cars about a beach. ut what about the hard red line between belize and guatemala? does guatemala still want control over belize? aka: wake up one day and a dictator has control of the place.
It’s the best place to invest ! I have 4 properties there and the value is skyrocketing! You obviously haven’t been there or you would talk about the millions of dollars in American money being dumped into new homes 7 miles up the road from the town… Mayan seaside, Wagner’s landing and 5 other American community’s… north of this town
Dated for sure, Corozal is growing with many subdivisions, 3 disc golf courses now in the district as well. Proximity to Mexico is a big seller

Appreciate the kind words!!! Anyway we can help let us know!
Amazing Will I was also researching different areas as well. Corazol was on the list. Keep the great content coming.
Will you please explain the commercial free zone and the pros and cons? Is the commercial free zone important and why? Thanks

Hi! Thanks for covering Corozal. How’s the Internet infrastructure and other utilities there? How’s the water quality? Thank you.

@@Kosher-ish thank you for all the info! 🙏🏼
I visited here about 18 years ago... loved the laid-back town and people and prices!
The laid back lifestyle is one of my favorite parts

That is awesome Margot! Hope to meet her while she’s here
Great video Will! Shout out to Dustin too
Thanks, Chris!
is there a golf course nearby
is there a dive shop in town
Good questions. There is a golf course on the Western highway so it is a couple hours away from Corozal. Best diving is in Ambergris Caye

I went to Belize a couple weeks ago. I visited several places but Corozal won my heart. The other places were beautiful but not for me. Great video
Me too
Could you tell me more about your feeling in Corozal? Why did you get a crush on Corozal
Is it affected by hurricanes and storms badly?
not really
the bay is only about 18ft deep at the most so almost any storm just dies off

There some hidden parts of corazol that would blow your mind! Ocean front
Absolutely!
is there racism against darker skin or lighter skin people? and are there many house break ins in Corozal?
Hello
Hi Phil! 👋
i thought they used the USD down there? who cars about a beach.
ut what about the hard red line between belize and guatemala? does guatemala still want control over belize? aka: wake up one day and a dictator has control of the place.
USD and BZD are accepted everywhere at a 2:1 conversion
The territorial dispute is for the southern end of belize so doesn’t impact regions like San Pedro or Corozal even in the worst case scenario

Covid has prevented me from getting to my house. When are they paving Consejo Road?
