Krishnamurti I would argue is the ONLY speaker on religious matters I would ever recommend anyone read or listen to, because the Buddha's words are translated and doubtful, and these two were the only ones that resolutely insisted that we must be free to observe and understand our own life uninfluenced and unprejudiced by the ideas of anyone including oneself, therefore giving the freedom to observe and understand what is as it is. Any other approach distorts the observation of what is with a prejudice or a distorting practice which masks the actual natural and conditioned movements of life, mind and body. From this point of view I find all spiritual teachers alive today are failing humanity by giving didactic lectures without ever emphasising the need for each of us to question everything being said and to observe and understand the phenomena directly, otherwise it has no value at all. It merely changes our ideas, without any development of our understanding of our actual life. Because who else can understand our lives but ourselves? It's a kind of insanity that humanity so easily forgets these fundamental truths, and it's a ruthless grift for people claiming enlightenment today merely conditioning the brain with their words and knowledge which is taken on authority (think Eckhart Tolle) and prescribing a useless practice which as K says means the brain is going to make an effort to be aware. But awareness always is! The brain just has to understand the need to observe and understand, and then naturally it will do so, and this is not an effort or a practice but the fruits of understanding the need to actually be aware of everything in me all of the time. If it wasn't for K I wouldn't be free of teachers today, and I've listened to so many of his videos that I no longer gain in terms of learning and insight, but I love him as a person and watch him just to be with an old friend, and I absolutely LOVE is nature writings which for me, and I mean this honestly, are the most beautiful I have ever read by far. It's just his exceptional clarity and lucidity and eye for transcendent beauty in nature which he seemed to revere. I miss K very much and if I go to heaven I should expect a meeting with his old body consciousness at least, recognizing of course that K wasn't even one. He was the nothing of awareness itself which we all are. But I still want to chat to the illusion of K at least. He's too cool.

Won't you rather to do it together? I'm willing for us to discuss things about Krishnamurti videos if you are interested and it doesn't have to be just about JK. We can talk about anything in our lives, as two friends, if you would accept this invitation.

You need to call them or write to them. They have certain scheduled events at different times of the year. (I donate to them monthly.)
