    One gets into that state … when one gives the mind rest for some amount of time
    Exposure to the world, every day dramas in family life depletes the silence. And in that noise, one goes back …
    That’s why all the monks , and even JK, lived in serene settings, close to nature … am sure they had very clear boundaries even with family and friends…

    jesus christ ... i am so deeply in pain. suffering loneliness and emotional abuse ... I know JK for quite some years and I fully see that he is right. And honestly It was possible to end it all .. through directionless awareness ... but this has to be a constant things ... and i am just not willing to end it ... so much pain. so much fear and doubt to "stand on my own" ... so much unfulfilled desires/needs ... it feels so wrong to led it go. To be not authentical, to hide your wishes, feelings and everything ... and to recognise that others feel discomfort because one is not authentic ... there is so much fear. Who ever does not just trim the branches but pulls out the roots has my utmost respect. I'm 35 years and haven't really "lived" ... it feels too late. So much has been missed. I see the way out, JK points it out clearly, but I really don't want to go ...

    The simplest things are often the most tricky ones to do. To see something in its entirety - however simple it may sound, it is not . It has to be rigorously practised day in day out . In all situations, we should turn the attention inwards & see whats happening there. We are trained to look outwards. The gaze should be on us now . Please forgive if I am wrong

    This is more profound than ending hurt! He clearly explans how our counsciousness works and describes one aspect (feeling hurt) in details like baby bites served for you... You can try to imply this on every other trigger(or folder in your hard drive 😃) that that makes you react in a specific way with its own specific patterns...this guy is AAAAAAA!!!!!

    • @TheTrapcho
      @TheTrapcho 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      But what will happen if you empty tottaly everything every folder? 🤯 will you be more than a flower for an example?

    • @TheTrapcho
      @TheTrapcho 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      And then simply, just from observing you can notice how every pattern, set of behaviours("who we are") in given situations occurs like a flowing river over your brain and while flowing activating those centers in the brain starting the mind activities which creates our reality and "making" us unto "who" we think we are.

    I’ve heard many of JK’s discourse and I follow it well. This one was too challenging for me. I see & analyze each hurt one by one to get rid of the same (it doesn’t go away completely though. It just subsides). However to do it in totality is extremely difficult because when I see it wholly, there are no thoughts. It’s just the feeling of attachment and it doesn’t go away even if I’m observing. I still feel attached. I’m not there yet. Because the comfort of attachment was so nice, it’s not living my consciousness just by observing it wholly. Unless I know true everlasting bliss of my soul, it seems impossible.

    • @gerardcordoba6005
      @gerardcordoba6005 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes. I have come to the conclusion that you will not be free from attachments unless that of you which clings to attachments deeply wants to be freed. If only your thoughts and your image of yourself wants to get rid of attachments you are only going to generate more conflict within yourself. So it is interesting and fruitful to look inside yourself for that, but I think you can't change your desires of attachment. The only attached self that dissolves is the one that drops without the need of force, just as a leaf on a tree.

    I liken this teaching to mildew. (if you live in humid cool climate like the pacific northwest, you will understand) You can be aware of the funky smell and hate every minute of the experience of living with it, but in order to lessen it's effects, you must understand the nature of mildew and how it arises. Only with this understanding can you take steps to mitigating it by environmental subtraction. In the future, every time you get a whiff of mildew, you do not have to deal with it as a completely unknown phenomena.

    Become a zero to become a hero.
    Zero means mere pure consciousness, without any thought., positive or negative.
    That pure consciousness also is not yours. That is God.
    Pure consciousness is obtained by cleansing the mind, by yoga and pranayama involving mooladhara, spinal cord, brain and breath, thought and awareness. You become blank without breath, thought and sensations in the brain for a few minutes.
    For the rest of the time we can hear the om sound to remain without thoughts.
