great collection , too bad the Uncanny X-men run had all the BIG keys missing, I am sure the former owner cherry-picked all the best stuff ( 1st Jubilee , 1st Gambit , 1st Gambit cameo etc )
That first box was awesome,I love the weird war covers, and all the other bronze age horror/war/mystery books, just great ,what a top collection of books, nice buy man
Thank you! Yeah I didn’t check if they were later printings. I’m still learning about these older books. Considering the condition is so good, they might be later printings.
It’s not a first print , the first prints would have a different cover with the title running the full length at the top and the price would be 10 cents … first prints are usually from 1941 - 43 .
What would you want for that 1st Hardy Boys, or is that a keeper? I read every HB book growing up, original and 2nd series but have never seen that comic. Amazing book.
Awesome stuff to go through. Just a thought on selling it you could offer single issues of runs you're not keep 1st in case theres someone who would need it for their collection. I know different regions and states some books are harder to find in the wild.
Yeah I’m trying to keep the runs together if I can when I sell them. But we’ll see, I’m going to try to offload the $1 books first and go from there. It’s going to take a while I’m sure! Thanks for watching!! 😎
THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE MODERN COMIC IS 2034...FROM 2000-2034 COMPLETES THE DECADES NEVER DONE IN THE 20TH CENTURY. THESE 21ST CENTURY BOOKS WILL BE LISTED IN THE FIRST 100 YEARS OF COMICS.I HAVE BOTH COVERS OF UNCLE TOM'S CABIN.SAD STORY.
I hope you didn't pay much. A lot of those books like xmen and wolverines sell for 1.00 each. It hurts that keys are missing. Walking dead books are commons after a certain issue. Most of those titles are 1.00 books
How do you guys find/get these collections. Do these people contact you or do you find these? How much did you pay for this collection so we know if we find something like this what we should be looking to pay
This is a lot of inventory for someone who does not own a store. The time is going to take to catalog put new bag and boards and decide what to keep and what to sell is it really worth it?
Absolutely! It took me about a week to organize everything. Mostly everything is in new bags and boards. I’ve sold a few hundred comics already. And now I have plenty of inventory for my whatnot shows and comic con that I sell at. And I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. For someone like me, it was 100% worth it.
Are you sure those Classics Illustrated are actually from the Golden Age? As for the entire collection, it looks like a lot of drek to try and sell, but if you're doing whatnot, people seem to buy drek all the time. Looking forward to part 2.
I’m actually keeping most of these better books and only selling off the run filler for $1 or less a piece.. This video is not to promote anything but showing what I bought to my subscribers. As for the Classic illustrated, I’m not extremely knowledgeable about them, but after further research I believe a lot of them are indeed 1960’s reprints.. My Part 2 video will clarify everything. 😃
Indeed indeed I'm just saying thank you for this evening true powerful video eassy/commentary is indeed in my opinion truth be told the truth and food for thought. Again thank you for your deep point of view.
Great Find !!! The Classics Illustrated are from the 60's they are a complicated run to figure out the printings. Great Job !!!
I had a feeling they were later printings. I never checked the dates inside. Thank you for the info! 👍👍
great collection , too bad the Uncanny X-men run had all the BIG keys missing, I am sure the former owner cherry-picked all the best stuff ( 1st Jubilee , 1st Gambit , 1st Gambit cameo etc )
Some of those were in there. Wait until next video. I show all the keys I pulled out 😃
Whoa bro…you have got to be one of the hardest working comic hunters I’ve ever met. Congrats on the pickup!
Thanks buddy! This was definitely a lucky find. Not sure I’ll find something like this again any time soon. But I always have my feelers out! 😃
damn you was right, this was a great pick up from facebook market
Nice buy!!! I have the alternate cover for that Uncle Tom’s cabin # 15 a guy with lots of search dogs!!!
Thank you! That’s very cool. I like those old books.
Beautiful! And it only took you a week to organize? Amazing. Did you make a video of the organizing? My collection is too overwhelming to organize
Thanks! No I didn’t record the organizing. It was very overwhelming but I pushed through! Lol
That guy organizes boxes like i do. I put mixed full runs in boxes.
That first box was awesome,I love the weird war covers, and all the other bronze age horror/war/mystery books, just great ,what a top collection of books, nice buy man
Thanks so much!!!
Wow. Very large pickup. Cannot wait to see more from this collection.
Thank you so much! It’s been a lot of work sorting but it’s a lot of fun too!
Nice pickup! The Classics Illustrated 15 that you have is the 1st print but they also used it for later prints, too. Will have to check the indicia.
Thank you! Yeah I didn’t check if they were later printings. I’m still learning about these older books. Considering the condition is so good, they might be later printings.

I think I want to hold onto that one. At least for now. I’ll definitely let you know if I decide to sell. Thanks for watching!
The CGC Dell comics are selling very well on ebay.
7:29 That’s a lot of Spider-Gwen. Nice 👍
There was even more in other boxes too. 😃
That is alot of comics and i can't wait to see all the keys you found.
Thanks!! Next video coming soon!
Sweet Wolverine run. Great pickup...
Thank you!!
An awesome purchase. The "One Million Dollar Question" is now: how much did you pay ? 😉 Greets from GER, U.
Thank you! I will explain everything in the next video 😃
Cool stuff Matt bet your going to say you paid 50 cents a comic, No way would I sell my collection so cheap! Nice Wolverine run!!!
Thanks bud! Actually paid a little less. It was a great deal for sure. I’ll explain everything in the next video.
With the classic illustrated u have to check the printing. How u do that is see how many books are listed on the back cover.
Okay thank you!
Looks like good stuff and good condition. at least bagged and boarded. 👍🏽 I don’t collect Disney but a lot of those looked darn near flawless
The majority of the comics were in new bags and boards which was very nice! Thanks for watching!

This made my day seeing anyone score a massive collection my guy and awesome books btw
Thanks so much!
I hope you didn't pay much. A lot of those books like xmen and wolverines sell for 1.00 each. It hurts that keys are missing. Walking dead books are commons after a certain issue. Most of those titles are 1.00 books
I pulled all the keys out. Saving them for next video! Part 2 video will explain everything 😃
As for walking dead, 1st Ezekiel was the only key in there.
Great haul, CONGRATS!!!
Thank you!!
How do you guys find/get these collections. Do these people contact you or do you find these?
How much did you pay for this collection so we know if we find something like this what we should be looking to pay
I’m going to explain all that in my next video. But I ended up finding this for sale on Facebook marketplace.
@@patriotcomics
Thanks,
Love watching these videos but it's always depressing that no one says what they paid, and how they came upon the comics
Awesome collection bro!
Thanks for the visit

How much did everything cost altogether
I’m going to explain it all in the next video 😃
was this in nj?
Yes
Holy hell. How do you have the room for anything?!
I don’t!! 😅😂 I’m hoping to sell a minority of it quick.
@@patriotcomics… lol minority.
**majority 😂
A lot of comics that you need a bigger room.
Very very true!! 😅

Thank you very much! 😃
Wheww. Lot of work
It sure is! But I’m pretty much there. After about a week of working on it every night after my day job.
Nice one bro
Thank you!
Indeed indeed I'm just saying thank you for this evening true powerful video eassy/commentary is indeed in my opinion truth be told the truth and food for thought. Again thank you for your deep point of view.
Thank you very much!
What did pay
I know I should have said it in this video, but I’m going explain everything in the next video.
those classic illustrateds are reprints
Yeah I realized that after some research. I didn’t much about them.
CGC has ruined comic collecting
How so?
Any chance you pulled a raw Gold Key Astro Boy 1 ? ✌️🥸
Unfortunately not 😫
