You call Vladimir a provincial city not far from great Moscow, but the irony is that in the 12th century Moscow appeared as one of the small towns of the great Vladimir principality.

А если бы иностранцы знали какой сейчас по счету год по древнеславянскому календарю, то мягко говоря сильно удивились!
@@user-yu1bt5go6y РПЦ этот календарь у Византии взяла. Долго шел отчет от сотворения мира. А у католиков - от Христа. Так что не удивим. Тем более - у китайцев и индусов календари древнее. Не в ущерб нам - не важно сколько лет прошло - важно, сколько лет будет. Надеюсь - Россия будет в первых рядах. Россия и Китай, и Индия. А остальные станут маленькими деревеньками. США распадутся. У них степень напряжение зашкаливает - как в СССР в 1990-м

I hope that Sam can finally live in this house as soon as possible! He deserves it! The place is really beautiful, not too flat but a little hilly!!
The Iraqi neighbor had an absolutely gigantic mansion! wow.. veery luxurious looking.

Sam is really nice and warm person. I wish him all the best in finishing his house. Then we can looking for landscaping and garden content wich i prefer 😅
Now, since in Vladimir, it is logical to wait for a video directly from Vladimir itself with sights and everyday life. To show subscribers in other countries that life and well-being are not only in Moscow. And in other cities of Russia it is also good, clean, safe and beautiful. Only the rhythm of life is a little slower and more comfortable.

This is true. In Russia a lot of beautiful cities. I’m living in Novosibirsk and i want to confirm that our cities are clean and well groomed. Well… the most of a cities.:-)
@@user-dz2mc3wp9z except Novosibirk :). No offence, I am living in Novosibirsk all my life and I know how badly it designed and of course there were reasons for that, but we have what we have now.
The house is so big you can call some rock band, say Iron Maiden to perform a gig in that place to entertain those neighbors, sure they will appreciate it
Another interesting issue. With examples of private houses in Russia. And not in Moscow, but in the provinces and in nature. Not all, of course, are as big mansions as the neighbor from Iraq, but all are strong, sturdy and beautiful with their own plots. Many Russians have their own houses with baths and, at the same time, apartments in the city. Also, of course, the view of the forest, sky and open spaces captures!
I have been one of Sams viewers for quite some time now. I love all the unusual places he takes us to. And I love his humor even more .
I hope he can continue to build his house so we can have a barbeque on the deck together with you both.

Sam your house is HUGE! It's beautiful and I can't wait to see it finished. It would be fun to live in the guest house if you could build that first. Have you ever tried gardening! You might get some people interested in your journey with all of that on your property!
That house will be flipping gorgeous when finished! All of those windows mean his house will be filled with light and sun-just the way we like in California! I think that price for custom windows is pretty reasonable.

Hi Russell, in my case I was actually looking at Sam's videos and in one of them he mentioned your channel, and that's how I started looking at your videos too. I wished Sam would do more videos because sometimes a week can pass without him adding a new video but I understand living in a medium size city makes it more difficult to find subjects to make a new video.
In your case, living in Moscow means that there is always something going on, an expo, a festival, lots of different supermarkets, restaurants, and so forth.
I like both of your channels and it would be nice if Sam could get more views and make more of a living from his content. That's why it's good to see you together so that some of your viewers and subscribers can also know about Sam and start watching his vids too, just like me starting watching yours after Sam taught us about your channel. I haven’t seen Vladimir for many years, but remember my childhood bike rides in the meadow, similar to Sam’s. Locals called those meadows- Poima (пойма). They are fragrant with flowers on a hot day, which are plentiful in summers. And the birds, Russ is talking about, are larks, spilling their trells and arias all day long.

Sam's house is great ,nice clean straight lines,not for everyone maybe but I love it,the building itself looks fairly maintenance free outside ,a big positive.
Once it's completed it really will be a nice place.

I think Sam should get a brigade of experienced builders and finish the house in 1 year. So that next summer you could visit him for a barbecue and chill out on the terrace balcony!
Perhaps the builders have been "encouraged" by the the regime to be elsewhere..think about it
@@lauren6889 What you wrote makes no sense. You think there are no builders in Russia or something? Do you even understand the scale of Russia's economy? World Bank places it as 4th largest economy in the world. There is a construction boom in Russia currently, few countries build more.

If I had the money, I would have to buy the land in front of me too! Having views and more nature around is such a wonderful thing! I know someone who had a 2 acre lot and bought 6 additional acres around his property to keep people from building.

Perhaps block up some of the windows to standard size, or even just remove all the windows, and put in ordinary windows. Priority should be to finish the house, style distant second.

There is option, go to the factory supply only, then fitters cost increases since 2021 has been astounding, not far wrong as far as costs are concerned, our lands are in Tver and somewhat same problem. Well done Russell worth the trip to Sam.
