By UK standards this shopping centre would be considered "luxury" mall and you'd only find such facilities in big cities in the UK. The retail industry in the UK is going though apocalyptic times at the moment, shops big and small are shutting down and UK's so called "high street" now looks more like "horror film" street with graffiti everywhere, boarded up shops and garbage flying around. Even very big iconic stores are going bust. And once considered well-to-do chains such as WH Smith and M&S are shutting down many of their stores. Not to mention complete collapse of many chains such as Body Shop and many others. For anyone in retail to see such stunning sparkling luxury malls opening such as these suburban Russian shopping towns looks like science fiction. Meantime, all UK mainstream media paints their traditional fake picture of Russia trying to convince disinterested audience that life in Russia is so bad that UK's own collapse and decline should be eaten as "big luck". I feel like London is now turning into one of those Hollywood horror films with zombies everywhere and militarised police using excessive brutality and violence against hungry citizens. Many products in UK supermarkets as cheap as £1 candy bar are now locked into plastic cages with alarm and massive lock on them. Going shopping in London is like "prison escape" episode with shops looking like concentration camps and people on the street more like dangerous zombies, trying to break into stores or eat you alive if you not careful.
100% it is now so hard to find decent food in UK shops. Food shopping is a nightmare in the UK. Disgusting hot wings shops on every corner to further undermine the health of the nation. You can never get a hot soup in the cafe. No such thing here as hot sushi or baked rolls. You can never find 90% of foreign brands like you showed in your videos as UK tries to only feed its nation British own products which are very scarce in choice and bad tasting. Frozen food is a go thing here in UK. Everything also super overpriced. Food tastes bland here. Russia is truly a food haven.

I only go to grocery stores and buy everything else online and save 50%. You can also go to a real store and find what you want and write down the SKU number or take a picture with your phone and then go online and buy it for less with free delivery. This is the reason malls are closing. Who wants to pay the extra high prices that they have to charge to pay the overhead.

In Canada having sit down restaurants are common in supermarkets BUT recently one of the largest supermarkets has really gone over broad on stopping stealing in their stores to the point they have been shutting down their sitting areas. The old head of the family that owns the chain died and his son is a real jerk and has seriously jacked up prices and has began to make increase security to the point that their stores are have more security then banks.
It's very funny to catch the glances of other buyers :) If in other countries (or even in the southern regions of Russia) talking loudly in a store is considered normal, then in the central and northern regions people talk quietly in public places. Loud talking is considered a violation of the personal space of others and is not acceptable. People look at Russell, "Ah, a foreigner. I see))"

LOL

I've just been to my local Sainsbury's in London and the store looks so trashy, I had to cut my visit short as large bunch of homeless people started to riot right in the middle of the store and police arrived to apply their brutality against hungry homeless people.

Wow, i never knew that. That's interesting.
I can't imagine that a mall like this can only exist from walk-in customers. I assume there are also underground parking lots.
In America an hour outside the city people have 1/3 to 2/3rds of an acre or more with their own home. People need parking spaces because they can afford a automobile. I am an average American with a 315 square meter house with a 3 stall garage.
Please stop using the word "Russia" when you are talking about Moscow. Use the proper word, please. Moscow - is not a Russia. It's one of the most well known saying in Russia.
yeah its like in china. subsidy on everything to keep the economy floating. in the west the companies will die if they are not profitable, and that is a good thing. so instead we have moved on from malls and have different ways of get our items. soon we will have drone delivery to our home. or all these new package companies that keeps improving. it keeps the prices down because no dead space like malls is.

Small grocerie stores will not have a coffee/lunch places, but some of them will have a coffee machine, where you can buy a cup of coffee to go and some of the small grocery stores will have a microwave too, where you can heat your food and take it with you.
Bigger grocery stores like for example supermarkets, will usually have a cafe inside of the store.
Bigger hypermarkets, has food areas, where you can buy different foods to eat inside the store or take it with you.For example coffee shops and small restaurants, where you can buy lunch.

The thing that amazes me mostly is the incredibly low prices.
Take Eggs for example. Sainsburys (about the same distance as Morrisons from me but in the other direction) is selling 10 mixed egg packs for a LOW price of £1.15p.
That's probably double of the cost of the Russian 10 pack !
