Obtaining Skill Cards from personas was removed in Reload. When I try to fuse these personas into other ones, they don't allow these skills to be inherited but all other skills are inheritable.
So I think the reason why they made all of the P5 Ultimate Personas as DLCs is to "import" some of the modern skills (such as Blazing Hell, Cosmic Flare, One-Shot Kill, Ice Age, and Wild Thunder) found in P4 and/or 5 into 3. Also nice they threw in Izanagi, Magatsu-Izanagi, Kaguya, and even love for Mara's Maralgidyne.

Yeah I think they have to search the game files to find out exact damage numbers. Because I've seen different spells with the same description like "Severe" and they'd do significantly different damage. For instance, single target usually does more damage than the same level of spell that hits all targets (in general but there are exceptions).
It's for the pun. The AOE prefix for offensive spells is Ma-, but they add an r to Maragidyne so it doesn't read as Maagidyne. Since that has Mara's name in it and he's already a meme because 'lmao penis', they gave him his own version.
The prefix is Maha- for Japanese skill names usually (this was the case for us westerners until SMT 3 released here. Reason it changed was more so about text limits and it stuck to this day). The pun is much more apparent with this in mind.

Im Playing P3P for the first time right now because im one of the casual scrubs which learnend about persona with 5Royal. I Played Royal now the normal 5 and the same goes for 4 and golden. P3R looks so fking amazing compared to P3P. I cant wait to finish P3P so i can throw my money to atlus so i can play P3R.
Yeah if it's your first time going into Persona 3, you should play Reload, it has really amazing quality of life improvements. But it's also as others have said, P3P isn't really the original experience but it can be close to it. I've played the original Persona 3, then FES, then Portable, then this and I'm burnt out now! I played Portable back in the day to play as the female protagonist and it has some really great social links unique to that playthrough. But nothing comes close to the original Persona 3 or FES, it really captures a dreary feeling unique to the early and mid 2000's.
When nearly all of these cost an additional thirty dollars on top of an already seventy dollar game that's a remake that wouldn't need a remaster if they didn't shortcut the port to modern consoles. Good game tho.

Yeah Atlus's DLC practices are pretty bad. It's a good game definitely but Persona 3 was released so many times. I played the original Persona 3, then Persona 3 FES, then Persona 3 Portable for the alternate protagonist, then Persona 3 Reload. I'm looking forward to SMT V Vengeance too but when they keep remastered recent titles I wonder if I should just hold off of Metaphor.

This is true and I was on the fence about including it - Heaven's Blade I thought was unique because it could only be used by archangels (Uriel and Raphiel?). I wonder too if it's possible to get other unique skills through mutations, some mutations are really crazy in this one.

Nah, they're practically the same, they're just less flashy (I personally prefer it this way, but I understand those who prefer millions of lights at the same time) the most important thing for me is that Atlus no longer makes it look like an earthquake is happening, Fuuka is an excellent cameraman for not shaking the whole screen.

It's actually hardly nerfed. Base power was lowered to 200 (from 300), but it now is all-target, and still has 30% crit rate
yeah but 3R also has alot of damage boosting passives to beef it up in comparison to it being a party member skill in 5R so its hardly a nerf lol

I equipped the Omnipotent Orb from beating the post-game boss, it makes you immune to everything except Almighty.

How do you nullify all damage types at once without affinity nullifying passive skills?
You just equip the item Omnipotent Orb, it nullifies all damage for all personas, you get it from defeating the optional superboss.

All Severe AoE elemental spells are unique to DLC personas. You can get each severe single target elemental spell in the base game though.

Heaven's Blade isn't unique. Sure it can't be inherited but it's possible to get through mutation.
This is true and I was on the fence about including it - Heaven's Blade I thought was unique because it could only be used by archangels (Uriel and Raphiel?). I wonder too if it's possible to get other unique skills through mutations, some mutations are really crazy in this one.
@@BAIGAMING So far I have only got Heaven's Blade and Magic Mastery from skill mutation that's non-inheritable. But then again the game is barely out, there are probably a lot more skills that I am missing.

Yep, Morning Star is a generic skill that can be inherited to most personas now. I may make a skills showcase of all skills since this video got popular so no worries.
A lot of these are definitely an improvement, but Die for Me! and Morningstar got butchered.

Nah, they're practically the same, they're just less flashy (I personally prefer it this way, but I understand those who prefer millions of lights at the same time) the most important thing for me is that Atlus no longer makes it look like an earthquake is happening, Fuuka is an excellent cameraman for not shaking the whole screen.
