- Come along with me as I backpack for 4 days across the Swiss-Austrian Alps with my brother! In this video, we leave Lindauer Hütte in the Austrian Alps and climbed to Tilisuna Hütte at 2211m for lunch before crossing over into the Swiss Alps for our second night at the picturesque Carschinahütte - probably the most spectacular landscape I've stayed overnight in!

More dramatic scenery Christine. Absolute heaven all around! Really nice to take this journey with you and see some of the Alps close up. I wouldnt have minded seeing your path with the chain for safety. I bet that was quite scary but equally dramatic! I love the fact they have so much signage even higher up on the mountains which must be so useful especially when the clouds and mist have rolled in. Thankyou once again 🙂

Yes it was quite scary and my brother with less experience of via ferrata needed my support so not safe to film, although I’d have loved to shared what it looked like! Exactly, very well way marked so with the map, difficult to get lost! Have a lovely week & thanks again for tagging along 😊

Would be interested to know how you planned your holiday and routes through the Alps...were you guys in a small group or just going for it ? Brilliant scenery, blown away so I am 😊
Thanks Andrew 😊 I’ll try and do a separate video on how I planned it out/what I packed etc but we did it on our own & I just planned out the route based on huts & using the local map/research online 👍🏻 have an awesome weekend :)
