I love my brother scan n cut!! I use Adobe Illustrator and also a free SVG software and have NO issues whatsoever! I cut cork for ,y wallets on it and garment weight leather as well, thank you for making creators an awesome machine!

Which model can take either a PDF, or other file created by Adobe Illustrator like SVG, upload a large sewing pattern file and cut each page of the pattern? Typical baby patterns are under 10 pages, but regular size adults can be 30-50 pages. Plus even more.
You can convert images to upload to your ScanNCut using our CanvasWorkspace software, Marjorie. ~rt

Do the ScanNCuts also connect to ethernet or are they only able to operate with WiFi?
If you have a PC, you can directly connect your ScanNCut to your PC and skip the internet entirely. All you need is a USB AB cable. ~rt
Any chance Brother will provide true single line fonts? I would love to be able to utilize the draw feature for card sentiments.

FYI you are referring to what is known as monoline fonts. Monoline fonts are characterized by all strokes in a single thickness.

What is the difference between the SDX125E and the SDX125EGY. I’ve called Brother and no one seems to know. Thanks for any help you can provide.

why is my brother scan and cut cutting more than once ?

Does the machine cut icing or fondant??
The Brother ScanNCut SDX series is not able to cut icing or fondant. This series of machine has been tested on various other materials and can be recommended to cut the materials listed in the link below (the SDX85M is shown as an example) :

My main purpose for a scan n cut is to do metal engraving, which ones, if any will work?

Love these machines, but their usefulness is seriously hobbled by the lack of support for fiducials. Getting prints and cuts lined up is a painful process whether using the the tiny onboard screen or using Canvas workspace. Please give the machine the ability to work with fiducials!

Wich one is the best ?
All of our Brother ScanNCut machines have the same capabilities for cutting, drawing and scanning. They can also cut up to 3mm thick depending on the material. Our Brother Authorized Dealer models, the SDX325 and the SDX330D come with the ability to scan and cut on the 12"x24" mat and can import PES applique files. The SDX230Di also has these features. if u watching por…. u better use ur phone or if u download stuff make sure u use a safe website and not just downloading random stuff all in ur pc
