the 2ed skaven team from 88 is my favorite by far. all unique models and with a fantastic vibe to them.
Once upon a time (before I dropped out of the hobby for a while and sold a great many things) I had a Skaven Team that consisted of a Rat Ogre, Stormvermin, Skaven Slaves, Gutter Runners and Poisoned Wind Globadiers from Fantasy... this was back in the square base days
There ya go!!! That’s the team we all dreamed of finding pieces to build it with 😅
I just bought a Skaven team from CowDaddyGaming which isn't on this list but well worth a look. I paid £40 for the whole team, 16 players, including a two head GR (not Hackflem!) and their version of Kreek. They're coming this week in time for my summer project....can't wait!!
I've just orderer one pack of "Tengu" Underworld made by Roll Jordan, from a retailer who had 1 left.
They are pretty awesome, perhaps the best model IMO with that Japanese samuraiesque vibes!
I just ordered skaven for my 7s tourney, but kinda wish i had seen this first (might've ordered the torchlight ones)... maybe.
Willy miniatures are typically awesome because they use a really flexible resin (my wood elves were nearly rubber they were so awesome)!
Same with sharptails, except just their tails are made with that super flexible resin. BUT the armor on the sharptails is amazing because it's sculpted very "deep" chainmail holes, so it's a real joy to paint
Willy’s wood elves are for me a 10/10 in design and quality.
Sharp tails one looks the best IMO, more modern take but I wish I could see one actually printed out. It seems like Skaven got the worst 3rd party selection so far. Although I *kind* of like the Sharp Tail one, they should have went all out like punga did with coaches, cheerleaders, etc just made it super deluxe. I hope that BRUTEFUN sees this because they set the bar when it comes to 3rd party Blood Bowl. Their models are out of this world good in the style of current Blood Bowl and I would love to see them tackle a full on Skaven team with all the extras that GWFW missed like cheerleaders, and then just add on a Skaven apothecary, assistant coaches, custom tokens, warlock engineer, a mutations pack, everything.
I really feel like moving forward if third parties want to really get ahead of the game this should be the route,having every aspect of a team covered in miniature form for us completionists. Punga does have that part down pat. I just don’t like “theme” teams, really kills immersion for me. Wish Punga wouldn’t have went with a pirate theme and just did a regular Skaven team

Hey Bonehead! I ordered uscarl Skaven team from France after watching your video, I love them they are 28mm but they still kick ass!

People always talk about the big ones (Transformers, Thundercats, He-Man, Turtles) but so many get overlooked... two of my favourites were MASK and Jayce & the Wheeled Warriors
I cannot believe you didn't mention Jes Goodwin's 1988 Skaven team! Still a classic! :P
I bought the Sharp Tails through their Kickstarter. They are amazing models and deserve more love. 🙂
I disagree that you need 2 team boxes. The resin booster provides 2 gutter runners and their alternate sculpts are great
For almost the same price as a team box. So 4 players or 12 more. Hmmm

The GW team are great, but those thin tails snap too easily
