800 dollars for a clicking noise and no performance gains? Hard pass. I hope Paragon comp’d these for you for the review. They are cool, but not $800 cool.
obviously no performance gains... but its really nice if you like driving in manual mode a lot. it makes the feel of the paddles way better. not a huge fan of the look of these paddles though, they should sell just the actuators if they don't already.
@@MrAleB305 I’d buy them today for $300… but $800 is WAY too much money for me. I wish they would just come up with a way to make the existing magnesium shifters have that feel…. At the very least Chevy can just start selling them this way.
@@michaeldodd9302 They'd be cheaper if they just sold the actuator without their own after market paddle but the price point isnt that bad for this type of product. They're all expensive, this one is kind of affordable comparatively. You can get BMW ones with just the actuator and you use your stock paddle.
Before crapping on the price look at what Porsche charges for their magnetic paddles. I have them and they fix one of the only flaws with the car. I HIGHLY recommend them if you own or have owned a Porsche or a Ferrari.
Hey Cody! My C8 Z06 is Catless too. Been getting the P0141 and P0161 codes, sound familiar? What codes are you getting? We’ll we be seeing you at Brainerd Motorsports on the 16th..?
Total waste of $800, IMHO. Spend it on a driving school or SCCA track/autox school. Those paddles won't make you a better driver, but the schools will.
I cannot stand the feel of the OEM paddles. There is almost zero resistance to the action... so you're left with plastic cracking against more plastic (unless of course you very gingerly engage).
Hey man ik you probably get asked this to the point where its annoying. But what do you do for a living to afford ur car. Do you do sales or like have ur own business, or like do you work a job or smt else etc
Chevy made the C8 with an automatic 8 sp dual cluth for a reason. The trans automatically will shift faster than any person could shift. If you're looking to shift your car. Buy a C7 with a manual. This product makes you think you're doing something. When you're really not. All that money for a click. 😂
ParagonPerformance should change their name to ParagonProfit
800 dollars 😂😂😂, it’s comedy lol

I said the same thing on Paragon's video review... this is a stupid upgrade for the amount of money.

@@michaeldodd9302 $300 is still ridiculous IMO
I'm hoping that the back side of the paddles isn't too far away from where your hands would normally be resting. Otherwise, huge win!

Agreed, the price is normal for the product and quality that comes with it. Truly does elevate the driving experience

any plans on posting rsx content again or na
Absolutely, once i finish these next few nitrous minivan videos! I’ve always wanted a turbo k20….
How much do you spend on car insurance a month? And who are you with? I just got quoted an absurd ammount by all state
Geico was $400 a month
Thanks for the response.. all state quoted me 700+ and that would be my 2nd car LMAO. I have good credit no accidents at all and 29 .. they're funny.
My god. My insurance is $100/month on my c8.
@@genegoesfast how old are you?

Love the review & glad you’re enjoying them!
They are pretty cool, but way overpriced....

I work at a ford dealership as a technician
@@CodyDriven oh nice, does being a technician pay that much, or were you jsut able to afford ur cars but saving and investing wisely

What are you stupid? Genuinely? It’s just an upgrade from the ALREADY EXISTING paddles, you know the ones GM put in there so you can shift the car
Says the jealous c7 owner😂
its for fun, ya know the reason a lot of people own sports cars.
Nice ❤❤
But the factory paddles are magnesium……….magnesium
$735 Never! Not worth it
I also have them and they're 100% worth it and cheap AF for magnetic paddles. The GT3 magnetic paddles cost almost double what these cost.
