I was all about buying these till I saw the part in this video. I sure hope the unit in this video is not a production unit. The wiring is shameful for how much they cost. There is a solder joint 2" off the two red leads coming off the main board onto green wires, then the green wires are exposed hanging out of the connector. I'd be amazed if it doesn't short itself causing the car to shift over bumps. For how much these cost you should use 1 wire from board lug to pin in the connector and at least run covered wire into the connector and even better put a boot on the connector.
I know you guys cant control pricing from others that much, but ouch. Hopefully, they bring it down a little and offer other colors like the new comp Yellow 👍
I posted a comparison in the z06 owners group on Facebook. The difference isn't small. The paddles transform the feel of the transmission, this mod is a must in my opinion.
Man I'm selling this car I can't afford ANY mods for it. Wish I had found Paragon's website before I bought it to kill my dumb ideas and I'd have kept the hellcat.
I actually like Paragon and have purchased products from you guys before. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for someone making a buck… but damn! $730 bucks for about $4 dollars of material? That’s straight up price gouging. I could understand if this had some newly invented technology that somehow made the car faster, or safer, or better handling, or had some kind of biometric scanner that could sense the electrical signals from your hand and shift faster, or were programmable based on driver input. But there’s nothing new here, just 2 pieces of metal, a couple of magnets, some wire, a solenoid, and plastic. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves… This is a flagrant money grab. IMO I’ll pass thank you.
This is not a Paragon branded Product, Maed is the manufacture of these paddles & sent the MAP pricing themself that we have to honor. There is much more than $4 of material that goes into these between the billet, hardware, internals to make them the world's only full OEM paddle replacements etc.. we value the price the manufacture set these at as the old quote goes " good work isn't cheap & cheap work isn't good". We highly encourage anyone whom thinks they can make this exact same product for $4 to reach out to us so we can offer it to our clients!
Unshielded wires at the base of the connectors? It looks like something my teenage son has done to his stereo. Very unprofessional looking and for $730.00 no thank you! Shame on everyone involved on this cash grab!
We have a set here and the wiring on the production units are much nicer than the pre-production units.
Great review on install. But a review of how different they react when using them would have been nice finishing touch!
Excited to see the red, black, and blue variants as well!
I was waiting for the bloopers! I feel ROBbed :(
Waiting to see when color options come out. Like the larger size. 👍
Mine should be here in 3 hours 🥳
Does this reduce lag from shifting?
Do these improve tactile feel as all?
Nice product, but can you tell me the color on the wheels from the car, thanks

You are correct, the unit used in this video is a pre-production unit.
@@ParagonPerformanceAh ok. I suggest updating the vid for the eagle eyed that see the issues I called out.

What is the advantage?
Over the stock ones that are very soft & bland when shifting, these provide a more engaging response & feeling.
@@ParagonPerformance Thanks
I love my carbon fiber paddles. To each their own.
Kool
i wanna hear what the clicks sound like when u shift
ASMR video coming soon ;)

Why magnetic?
That provides the "click" that is commonly used in race cars.

For the price, that wiring is ghetto!
This was a pre-production model, the wiring is different now.

I think there is an extra zero in your price. Please correct to increase orders.
Orders are coming in just fine with the price set by the manufacture of these :)
@@ParagonPerformance A fool and his money...
crap wiring...waste of money and could fail
the paddles used in this video were a pre-production set, hence the wiring.
