Hey Dave, fellow Chevy salesman here. When are you going going to make a sales training video? I feel like I could learn so much about your sales process!
Very nice and easy to follow review. Great job. Like someone else mentioned, it's the injectors, or....The only ticking I could hear on the PDR recording was when you were turning. Here's the good news. When you get to be my age you won't hear anything in the car except loud Beach Boys music. 🤓
Hey Dave. As always, good content. I have a '23 C8 and I was told that ticking noise is normal because of the injectors and nothing to worry about. Off topic, you need to go do the Ron Fellows school. I went back in May of this year 100% worth it. Learned a lot about the car and you get to push the limits of what the car can do.
Yea, usually as long as I am close I don't worry about it. A few weeks back I left it off in Morristown parked on the main street while having dinner... definitely on my mind that night though.
The New Tahoe and Yukon were supposed to have a new PDR/Dash Cam recorder from GM called "Connected Camera" that was accessible via the app but I've been seeing new reviews of the Truck and the Camera inside the cabin is now Missing from when GM first previews the Trucks.... I was looking forward to that feature. I hope GM brings it out soon.
I did some googling and check C8 forums and reddits. Most C8 owners said it’s has do with fuel injectors and it’s does that all the time it’s perfectly normal. But Dave, I would check your C8 have the technician to see if there is a TSB for that.
Could it be the Wheel Bearings, or the differential whining, and sometimes you can have road debris on your brakes , not a 100% sure, most of the GM vehicles I’ve drove are making that same noise
Before I bring it to them I just want to drive in another one to see if it sounds the same. I just have to wait until we get a coupe.. only have two convertibles at the moment
I’m an idiot!! I saw C8 and PDR and thought your Corvette got dinged and PDR was paintless dent removal.🤪🙄
thought the same thing ... "wow, that was quick for a ding already"
lol, I never thought of that.
Me too
Yep thats what I was expecting too
Yep, add me to that list.

Holy sh*t, I would never leave the roof off while I go into a store if I owned a Corvette.

When I had my C7 I’m always worried about haters, and having someone flicking a cigarette in the seat just to be a dick
There is an alarm that sounds off if someone reaches in iand the glove box locks when the doors are locked.
Really cool video. Do more of these.
Love the sweatshirt. The is pretty cool too.
HHI, one of my favorite places
Dave, y,ou work at Chevy, have the techs tell you what that ticking sound is. There might be a TSB.
Great review Dave

Would you say the PDR eliminates the need to add a 3rd party dash cam?
It sure does a good job. Maybe a 3rd party cam for different views.
Awesome bro 👍🏻👍🏻
Hey Vinnie, How are you enjoying your C8?
@@DaveBsellsChevy I love it so much best car ever we gotta get together make a video on both of them👍🏻
@@VinnieTheCarGuru What day are you off during the week?
@@DaveBsellsChevy normally I can take Tuesday off sometimes I take it sometimes I don’t
@@VinnieTheCarGuru Cool same as me..

Yes, I'm thinking the same thing. Just drove a 2023 that we have in stock and it makes the same sounds.
To me it sounds like it only does it when the car shifts into the next gear.
Maybe something is loose on the right side of the suspension?
I think it's engine and probably just the sound of it. I have to drive another coupe and see if it sounds the same.
Let’s see how this ages…

The ticking is your turn signal. Perfectly normal.
I've got a 2023 and I think that the ticking sound is the engine valve train. I could be wrong.
Dodge has had the dreaded hemi tick for many years now. Chevy is finally catching up.
Sounds like the transmission shifting.
I think the idea of leaving it on auto is not a bad idea. Kinda like a dashcam of sorts.
Can your service department take a quick look at it to try and figure out what that noise is?
Before I bring it to them I just want to drive in another one to see if it sounds the same. I just have to wait until we get a coupe.. only have two convertibles at the moment
It's your transmission ticking there have been many complaints about this..
For the algorithm
I work in the automotive industry and thought you damaged your car. Lol . PDR is used as panitless dent repair
My exact thought
Is every video going to be the corvette? Showing off again.
@@rickeybradley2635 lol just living life my man.
It’s the right flux capacitor 😬
