One thing from my highschool days that I don't see nowadays are the colorful skinny jeans. I remember when the "swag boy" asthetic was super popular everyone in school had multiple colors of those jeans to go with the super long t-shirts.
So many things from the swag era has completely dissappeared lol. Spiked everything, Jeffrey Campbell, American Apparel bodysuits etc. It's funny to think of the chokehold all of these used to have on everyone.
I cringe looking back at a lot of it, but still got 2 pairs of Supra's from that era, glad I had the foresight and bought them slightly too big cause I love them to this day, now they fit like a charm, and they're no longer around. The Skytop Black Croc are among my few hightops that connect well with some of my baggier pants, and the TK Society Red Carpets are cool with the unique waxy and kinda synthetic look, very cool twist on the cargos and black boots look, for example. Also still got a vibrant Famous x New Era snapback with Black, Turquoise and a pink accent, even some small orange letters, very loud, but also very cool when combined sensibly into my evolved style. I think those are all my swag-era clothes still left, precious nostalgia items. It doesn't feed into the vibes I usually try to create with like an Adidas Forum 84 or AF1 retro basketball hightop, maybe some Reebok Omnizone 2 for baggier pants, or some cool color blocking with white accents with Vans Oldskools or Halfcabs etc., but I love a complete curveball every now and then.
I was born in 2004, and when I first came to America in 2010 for kindergarten, I remember everyone had silly bands. In my broken English, I asked my new friend if I could have one. He was one of those kids who had a whole silly band sleeve, so he gave me some. How I treasured those silly bands... Oh, rainbow loom was next!
I was definetly influenced by nikelodeon and disney channel fashion the most , the ultimate look that was t-shirts over longsleeves in my 10 year old brain was top tier fashion, also the converse all stars that went up to the knees and heelys still cross my mind every now and then. The more I grow up the more I realise that everything that I found intresting and cool in my developing years still influences my fashion choices today and I subconciously re create outfits of the time! It's insane how strong our memories are.
Dude the t-shirts over longsleeves was probably the very first fashion thing I remember being captured by! But black clothing was forbidden at home and I had a fairly strict uniform at school, so all I got away with was some light eyeliner and dark grey skinny jeans after school. gotta say that Juicy Couture has definitely had a recent upswing where I live but they never really fell out of style (at least the tops and sweaters). They definitely don’t have the same IT-girl/iconic status that they did in the late 00s and early 10s though
being born in '98, this was some nostalgia! Love your vids bro. Silly bands also got banned at my school way back when, such a funny thing to think about
I just found this channel and I appreciate that you talk about fashion without selling brands or trends. It just feels like humble, calm commentary with some historical appreciation mixed in and I love it.
Denims have a big influence of fashion in my country Indonesia. I think back in 2010 ppl went craaaazy over heavyweight stiff selvedge japanese denim with 16+Oz. They would wear them everyday and not wash it for a year, wash them in beach sands to create contrasting creases on the pants. It was really big at the time and is slowly making a comeback which im really looking forward to
Drew- what it do!!! Born in 92 here. Things that influenced me were my big ass gameboy and gameboy pocket/color- Pokemon. N64- bomber man, donkey Kong 64- fast forward to the PS2- GTA 3 Need for speed- Tony Hawk Underground. All dat lol used to rock the silver tab Levi’s- ecko Unlimited- with the Phat Farms boiii… as far as music- you know we had Nelly, Ja Rule DMX, Eminem and 50 cent- lil Wayne- but we were also still listening to 90s hip hop- and being hispanic n living in Texas -we was on that reggaeton sound early- 98-99. But we also had Tejano music like Selena and’em. Also Used to rock the braids like Ludacris with big ol Sean Jean bomber jacket man with the timberland boots. Couldnt tell me nothing back then… and in high school we were rockin birckenstocks man. Some made fun and called them potato shoes but followed the trend afterwards. This was 06-07 🤙🏾 PVV Thooo- lol those freakin scooters man. Used crush my small ass fingers lol fun af tho but hated those things. Had forgot all about them - got super nostalgic when I saw them on ur vid. 👏🏾 we out here grinding tho
I feel like juicy couture looks are still around, I’ve seen some girls wear the velour jumpsuits recently. I feel like the bape all over print hoodie might be separate from the logo mania trend but I definitely agree otherwise I don’t really see Ed hardy around anymore tbh either
Loving your videos, Drew! I think for me, wedges (whether that be the sort of like sandal ones or the sneaker wedges - the Isabel Marant sneaker wedges were huuuge) are something that I don’t see anyone wearing anymore.
I remember when I was young I really liked those knee high converse. Also frilly denim skirts were really popular at my school I am starting to see them around a little more and I want one but also I'm not sure if I would look a little silly and I want to take time before I make a purchase.
Drew, this whole TH-cam thing is so meant for you. You inspire us to be better with your knowledge in fashion and your professionalism. I freaking love you, man. Once again, another great vid from you! Keep on keepin' on.
I'm still in love with my Huaraches that I picked up from a thrift store over 4 years ago... Been rocking them since and they hold up really well, if I find one again in my size I would buy them in a heartbeat
Yes I remember those scooters. I'm a 93 baby and I'll be 30 in January and I've seen all these trends and a few others. Fashion is so important and timeless. Like there's a girl on TikTok who lives her life like she's in the 80's on purpose
Born in 02 out of Canada, our hockey culture is huge and dad hats and ultra boosts were a part of that culture. In high school I remember every guy had at least one of the two. Good times lol
I wore my calabasas track pants a few days ago just because I wanted to dress comfy. It was my first time wearing them in over a year probably and it felt like I was going back in time when I put them on
born in ‘98 and grew up in NYC and moved to FL in high school the culture shock of moving and seeing people go from wear converse and air forces to SPERRYS and long tube socks in the early 2010’s..... man.... what a time. Some brands and old items I really miss are the “pastries” sneaker. Ifykyk. As well as fubu sweaters n jackets. I still wear some old vintage rocawear sweats, Ed hardy shirts to sleep, and Paul Frank accessories if anyone remembers those. Crazy how fast the trend cycle circulates these days. Love the vids drew✨🤝
I just love listening to your TH-cam videos. I’m so glad I bumped into this by accident. I’m addicted to you and what you have to say. You are hysterical and enlightening. Keep up the good work. I’m a 55-year-old woman who gets a giggle out of some of the stuff that you say. Oh yeah, I did wear the track suits, too.
I was born in the end of 80s, so Y2K fashion is my time. So interesting how it became a history. I have seen either very fit clothes or hip hop oversized styles in the streets. || Actually I feel nostalgic these days and want to buy juicy couture suit for real Y2K look -)
born in trinidad and Tobago, 2004 i dont see graphic tees like i used to. i remember those eclectic designs of wings with rhinestones stuck onto them on everything and shirts with characters on them, especially for kids. people these days dress way more minimalistic also, matching sets. as a kid my mom would buy clothing that came with a top, pants, hat, skirt etc or you'd have to look for the shoe that matches your bag and it was like a sort of designer feel, having your entire outfit coordinate without you needing to style yourself one last thing, im missing denim overloads. my cousins and i always had the best denim skirts and pants with rhinestones and frills made of denim but one day they sort of disappeared? you dont see denim alot outside of jeans. one trend that is popular in my country tho is fake pearls sewn on to the jeans! like rhinestones were
Growing up in the southern US around the same time as you, I saw a lot of Aeropostale, Abercrombie & Fitch and American Eagle shirts/hoodie, etc. Especially the ones with highly textured logos. Also Phiten necklaces were HUGE for about a year lol
What I don’t see anymore is stuff from Delia’s! Like I was OBSESSED with the brand when I was younger and the pieces weren’t…like anything special, mostly basics, which is why seeing them go out of business and eventually fall out of the trend cycle was wild. Also, this is extremely unrelated but the whole time I was watching this video I kept asking myself who you looked like and I finally got it! That SK model, Han Hyun Min
Two shoes that I remember seeing a ton of back then that I don’t see anymore is the shoe brand Osiris and the Nike roshe runs. Them shits were everywhere
From the Philippines, Scarves, "Elephant Pants" (super baggy pants), Wallet chains, Ironic graphic tees. There's probably more that I missed out but yeah, these are some of the things that have seen a diminished interest on over the years.
Skinny jeans, World Cup edition AF1, oversized clothing, miskeen shirts, dressing like camron with yellow “diamond”/cubic zirconia earrings, hypebeast web side was just coming alive. Also tons of fake Jordans and AF1s with SpongeBob. They called them “variants”
10:38 I dunno what those scooters were called but I remember being a beast on them as a kid. I sucked at everything in gym class except for those scooters. I have no idea how I did it but I was faster than everyone else and I could cut a much sharper corner.
I grew up in Memphis and one of the first fashion movements I wanted to get into were snapbacks. Diamond Supply, Obey, Chicago Bulls hats were everywhere in my fifth grade year.
This is Wen from Taiwan and this video does make me revisit those items that I saw every day when I was a kid, especially the Nike air huarache! I wanted a pair of these so much in middle school too, but yeah weirdly they are literally gone for good. Never really seen anybody wearing them.
I feel alot of things get roped into the “y2k” aesthetic. I remember before y2k really took off “color core” or “kid core” was really popularand when you search up y2k on Pinterest you get alot of outfits that really look more like those 2 aesthetics I mentioned before. But i think the “y2k aesthetic” doesnt really have a true foundation like other aesthetics do. I mean just look at the name and what era the inspiration comes from…. Y2k is a reference to BEFORE the year 2000 but the visuals we consider “y2k” is actually from the mcbling era. So i see it as an aesthetic with no real baseline in what theyre trying to achieve. Now Y2k is just a term for lowrise jeans or for very specific items that reference the mcbling era, but not a specific vibe.
Silly bands were around when I was in 4th grade, I remember seeing on Time magazine saying some schools banned them, my elementary school I think said the amount you wear cannot be wider than an inch or something, they didn't want us to have sleeves of silly bands I guess
Being 30 this video makes me feel old because I either missed most of these trends or by the time I was the age you caught it at, it had already passed for me being a few years senior and thus not on the same wave. But I have likewise seen many a fashion phase and subculture based around fashion or music, come and go, and likewise come back. And that's just universal, not confined to any particular generation or even certain part of any given generation.
Highschool between 1993-1997. FUBU, Kepper super baggy jeans, Helly Hansen, Lugz, Phat Farm, Ecko Unltd, Sean John, Pepe Jeans, Freshjive, Karl Kani, etc were all the rage in terms of streetwear. And you have to top it all off with a Starter Cap.
This was educational for me! I was a kid in the late 80s, early 90s and honestly most fashion from then is still worn! One thing though is that it seems like skate culture was more influential on mainstream fashion then. That was in rural Australia but also a bit in music videos and movies of the time. We wore big puffy skate shoes by Etnies, Dc and Airwalk and those fabric skate belts, even if we didn't skate...and few girls did then because it was also hella conservative!
In amsterdam what used to be popular in my early teens in 2016-2018 were fanny packs lol, EVERYONE used to have one theyd put all their cigs, weed, lighters etc in, i wish that trend would come back bc i thought it was so sick
The FOG vans..... oh my gosh. Recently saw some friends from high-school and one of them was wearing his FOG vans. They still gave the same vibe as when they came out.
Piggybacking off the logo-mania; at middle school in Houston, I remember kids wearing the quarter length Nike socks on top the crew length Nike socks, usually paired with cargo shorts. I guess it was part that New Boyz, jerk aesthetic... I never did it myself, partially cause I never got into it and partially cause my parents couldn't afford for follow all the new trends I wanted validation from.
Dude its hilarious how relevant this video is to being a teen back then in CO. That footage of Icing in Southwest Plaza before they redid it had me flashing back like crazy lol. If we went to middleschool around the same time you might remember the big scene boom (3D glasses with the lenses punched out) and guys wearing neon oversized sesame street shirts, shoes, and hats. It might have just been a carmody thing but girls also used to buy the kids cartoon backpacks on purpose to be random...weird times.
i was born in the late 2000s but i had a teenage mom that wore a lot of trends from the late 2000s/early 2010s, and i think the thing i remember most about her style from back then were the vs pink fold over yoga pants
'03 baby here, but in middle school, there was a huge craze with Nike shoes: the Huraches, Roshe runs, and Lebron's. I think this kinda plays into the "logo mania" you talked about because the guys my age especially would straight out bully people if they found out they're wearing like knock-off, look alike shoes. There was this like pressure to comply and get the shoe brands that were in. Oh, and I know converses have always been popular but the white converse with the small red accents were EVERYWHERE. I promise everyone had a pair of those.
I was born in 96, in the Netherlands (near amsterdam) and I vividly remember always wearing cargo, and the mini skirts, t shirts over long sleeves, rinestones(!), ed hardy and similar fashion (kind of like the tattoo vibe print), skinny jeans Shoes were Nike air or Allstars or vans (middle school). Also bigger sized jeans even for women (wonder how I ever tought that looked good 😅) and I also started wearing those oversized sweatpants. Oh and don’t forget champion was a huge brand back then as well. Oh and never forget the uggs! And Birkenstocks. The richer girls in school had Louis Vuitton bags
I remember the silly bands- my elementary school also banned them. From 2010-2013, I remember Aeropostale and Abercrombie and Fitch. Kids would literally wear those same brand shirts for weeks, just different color variations. I was honestly baffled, lol. I would think to myself, "It's the same shirt five times, please, explain yourself". Also, not a particular piece of clothing, but sagging pants. Even when the boys wore belts they'd sag and the teachers were really fired up about it. I was confused by that whole trend too.
I was the poor kid at a private school. They all wore Abercrombie and Fitch. I went into one store, picked up a single pair of underwear that was like $50, walked out and never went in again
I’m born in 1995 and living in Eastern Europe I’ve seen hype of adidas superstar, then white converse now dunks, J1 and AF1 But for me personally being into rock and alternative noting was cooler than a skate shoe. Vans got me into shoes.
omg yeah silly bands, i loved those so much. i remember my grandma had bought them for me sometime in elementary/middle school and i wore them everyday
Being from Los Angeles and moving my fresh man year of HS to North Carolina (2007) was a a whole thing but good thing we had MySpace cus ppl thought I dressed wild but they were just 2 years behind
Our school had loom bands as the big craze when i was 10, making them, gifting them, wearing them, eventually they too got banned, im 20 now and i still have some lying around
So sorry, long post! Enjoyed the video💖 Born in 92. Idolized Missy Elliot for that hiphop look but perhaps because subconsciously I knew I wasn't slim. The 2000s made me awkward as hell, knowing bodily I don't fit the Paris Hilton or Aaliyah looks, especially since they emphasized the thin midriff. Not even the pop punk princess Avril Lavigne look fit me being plus sized. On the other side of the spectrum, I was more wowed by the chunky, boxy and loose fit of the men's fashion. The music videos helped with that a LOT! Definitely miss the pop artsy designs on shirts. Oh and the way men wore those caps, like they're about to float away. The emo scene took us all like a tornado, all the way to early 2010s, though it was waning. Still black eyeliner was one the trends I can pull off because it wasn't about my body but rather my eyes. Black on everything as well as dramatic Rococo fashion on punk and emo was just something I can dream of. Did not have the money to get those! I agree regarding the Y2020K thing. Because the 2010s soon transitioned to something more polished, maybe a bit on mininalism, more on using different blocks of color instead of just big art pop patterns, the recycled Y2k-esque look now just feels like it's the more polished, even Japanese sci-fi streetwear style I also used to see in the 2000s. And that's okay. We don't need to go back to the 2000s.
In my country many things were different. In our schools, dress codes are pretty stricted so you cannot wear a T-shirt with jeans in a classroom. But one thing that was fashionable everywhere is any Winx Club merch. All cool girls had at least one Winx merch they wore. You know what? I still want that Winx jeans bag.
I have the green and black pair of Calabasas pants... Wore them during my first time getting arrested 🤣 they'll forever be special to me. '95 kids stand up
I think the reason why we dont see Fear of God vans anymore is becaus of baggy jeans. The sleakness of the vans doesnt actually go well with baggier pants. It is usally paired with tappered jeans or trackpants.
Growing up in Poland, I remember around 2013-2014 everyone in my high school (college) was obsessed with either Airmax 90s or Nike Roshe Runs, but all the cool swaggy kids were wearing Jordans like in Mike Will Made It "23" song lol. Also, in my early teens many alt girls were obsessed with knee length converse and would have the tops of them folded down to show off the contrast lining. And sticker earrings being a peak of accessories when I was a kid
Top trends at my school were dressing like a skater, then the whole jerkin' movement with colored skinnies and swag era with the bulls hat with cargo shorts.
Theres so many things I used to SCOUR ahops for. Studded belts, patterned topman underwear, anything from the mustache period, waistcoats, Im sure theres so many more 🤣
This might just be me but I remember a lot of the clothes in the 2010's being really thin? I feel like every white t-shirt was completely see-through and they were all super long. It wouldn't take long for my clothes to get holes or stretch out quickly. Maybe I used to buy horrible clothing, but I feel like I can't replicate any of my old outfits because the material is different.
lmfao i remember i bought the huaraches in 2018 being oblivious to trends and everyone made fun of me for being late on the trend with me not even KNOWING that they were trendy lol, i still fit them today and i still have them, think ill wear them tomorrow again as a nice throwback look
I literally just tossed out some really old silly bands due to the plastic becoming hardened messes in the box I kept it in. I just kept it for years not doing anything with them
Nike Roshe runs, pocket t shirts with the leopard print pocket, good wood, POW chains, TISA snapbacks, Obey box logos, fox tails, lmao god the list goes on...
i was born 2003, when i was ab 8 my dad went on a trip to europe and he bought me back silly bands from paris. new zealand back before interent was popular was behind in trends very often so i was the ‘cool kid’ for about a month bc no one else had them lol
Speaking of silly bands, loom band bracelets were very big in the mid 2010s but nobody wears them anymore. Nobody except me because I still make them HAHAHAHA
Facts. I used to want a pair of those so bad. All the popular kids had them.
Y’all were dressing like herbs of course it isn’t seen lol. No one but a very small age group of pre teens wore that.
I cringe looking back at a lot of it, but still got 2 pairs of Supra's from that era, glad I had the foresight and bought them slightly too big cause I love them to this day, now they fit like a charm, and they're no longer around. I thought it’s still common in the DMV? I see guys wearing colored skinny ripped jeans everywhere there

Very funny how some parents are unexplainably mad at black color and most of my clothes were from dark to black when I was at school.

Go to Japan and you’ll see every trend that ever lived walking the streets.
In the 00s I was obsessed with Jeff Hardy. Colored hair, mesh tops,trapp/raver pants. Kinda weird but he was a huge influence in dressing how I want to and never conform to what was in(nothing wrong w/ that btw). So 00s was rave/punk,2010s preppy alt now a mix of both

I feel like the bape all over print hoodie might be separate from the logo mania trend but I definitely agree otherwise
I don’t really see Ed hardy around anymore tbh either
❤️🥲 thank you man
I'm still in love with my Huaraches that I picked up from a thrift store over 4 years ago...
I’ll say velour tracksuit is still in rotation especially bc of y2k fashion
I never gave up on velour 💙
Those gym scooters were so fun! I remember back in elementary we'd do a sort of crab walk race with those across the gym
G star 96 jeans and those Evisu jeans with that massive logo on the back of the legs were so popular where I grew up between 2005-2010.
I was born in the end of 80s, so Y2K fashion is my time. So interesting how it became a history. I have seen either very fit clothes or hip hop oversized styles in the streets. || Actually I feel nostalgic these days and want to buy juicy couture suit for real Y2K look -)
I remember all the cool kids in middle school wearing Obey clothes, and I swear I haven't seen anyone in Obey since then
born in trinidad and Tobago, 2004
i dont see graphic tees like i used to. i remember those eclectic designs of wings with rhinestones stuck onto them on everything and shirts with characters on them, especially for kids. people these days dress way more minimalistic
also, matching sets. as a kid my mom would buy clothing that came with a top, pants, hat, skirt etc or you'd have to look for the shoe that matches your bag and it was like a sort of designer feel, having your entire outfit coordinate without you needing to style yourself
one last thing, im missing denim overloads. my cousins and i always had the best denim skirts and pants with rhinestones and frills made of denim but one day they sort of disappeared? you dont see denim alot outside of jeans. one trend that is popular in my country tho is fake pearls sewn on to the jeans! like rhinestones were
Growing up in the southern US around the same time as you, I saw a lot of Aeropostale, Abercrombie & Fitch and American Eagle shirts/hoodie, etc. Especially the ones with highly textured logos. Also Phiten necklaces were HUGE for about a year lol
Pin rolled jeans, Snapbacks, Neon colors, colored jeans, high-top Supra's and OSIRIS.
‼️‼️
The green and white checkered hat is amazing tho.
cant wait to see these items get back in the trend cycle
I bought my first pair of air huaraches this year cause I heard they were mad comfy and yeah they are, I love them, wore them all Summer haha
They still are really nice!!
That pink BAPE dress is everything 😭 Thanks for this detailed vid, it really brought back some fun memories!
I grew up in Memphis and one of the first fashion movements I wanted to get into were snapbacks. Diamond Supply, Obey, Chicago Bulls hats were everywhere in my fifth grade year.
We had those too, diamond supply was gospel haha
In Italy too there was a time where vans was the coolest shoe u could get, good times
Vans have never stopped being cool in California. It’s a classic.
Close in age to you, western Canada. Globe skate shoes too. Those were the days lol and I still see a bit of it, shoes especially.
In amsterdam what used to be popular in my early teens in 2016-2018 were fanny packs lol, EVERYONE used to have one theyd put all their cigs, weed, lighters etc in, i wish that trend would come back bc i thought it was so sick
I was born in the 50 ‘‘tis so my favourite fashion would be 70 80 I am 70 years old fashion Designer still working love your coverage 👏👏🇬🇧🙏❤️
The FOG vans..... oh my gosh. Recently saw some friends from high-school and one of them was wearing his FOG vans. They still gave the same vibe as when they came out.
Matching Nike Elite socks to my Jordans and other sneakers back in middle school. You were extra cool if you had the matching top to go with it too.
I was born in 96, in the Netherlands (near amsterdam) and I vividly remember always wearing cargo, and the mini skirts, t shirts over long sleeves, rinestones(!), ed hardy and similar fashion (kind of like the tattoo vibe print), skinny jeans
Shoes were Nike air or Allstars or vans (middle school).
I’m born in 1995 and living in Eastern Europe I’ve seen hype of adidas superstar, then white converse now dunks, J1 and AF1
But for me personally being into rock and alternative noting was cooler than a skate shoe. Vans got me into shoes.
Born in 2001 and so many of these are a total blast from the past. Fun to look at them. Heels shoes was another.
omg yeah silly bands, i loved those so much. i remember my grandma had bought them for me sometime in elementary/middle school and i wore them everyday
that basket case shirt goes hard!! big love! I watch u in Starbucks with my latte and pastry to start my days! keep going!
Yeezy track pants still fire
So sorry, long post! Enjoyed the video💖
Born in 92.
We don't need to go back to the 2000s.
the last line says it all
@@DrewJoiner oh yes 100%
In my country many things were different. In our schools, dress codes are pretty stricted so you cannot wear a T-shirt with jeans in a classroom. But one thing that was fashionable everywhere is any Winx Club merch. All cool girls had at least one Winx merch they wore.
You know what? I still want that Winx jeans bag.
I have the green and black pair of Calabasas pants... Wore them during my first time getting arrested 🤣 they'll forever be special to me. '95 kids stand up
Juicy Couture made a huge comeback in Europe with the y2k aesthetic, not in America?
I would say not as much from what I’ve seen
Yeah, well specifically in Harlem & The Bronx the girls out here be wearing Juicy Couture Velour suits. Here and there for the last couple of years.
I think the reason why we dont see Fear of God vans anymore is becaus of baggy jeans. The sleakness of the vans doesnt actually go well with baggier pants. It is usally paired with tappered jeans or trackpants.
the mr me too by clipse music video changed everything for me
Growing up in Poland, I remember around 2013-2014 everyone in my high school (college) was obsessed with either Airmax 90s or Nike Roshe Runs, but all the cool swaggy kids were wearing Jordans like in Mike Will Made It "23" song lol. Also, in my early teens many alt girls were obsessed with knee length converse and would have the tops of them folded down to show off the contrast lining. And sticker earrings being a peak of accessories when I was a kid
This was a nostalgia trip! Great vid!
Top trends at my school were dressing like a skater, then the whole jerkin' movement with colored skinnies and swag era with the bulls hat with cargo shorts.
Yes 😂
Theres so many things I used to SCOUR ahops for. Studded belts, patterned topman underwear, anything from the mustache period, waistcoats, Im sure theres so many more 🤣
studded jeans, rock revivals, fox or monster branded stuff, basically just everything was branded with some kind of huge logo lmao
Great vid! Man I’m still wearing the huaraches! Love em and timeless
This might just be me but I remember a lot of the clothes in the 2010's being really thin? I feel like every white t-shirt was completely see-through and they were all super long. It wouldn't take long for my clothes to get holes or stretch out quickly. Maybe I used to buy horrible clothing, but I feel like I can't replicate any of my old outfits because the material is different.
born in 01 and i related to everything in this vid
What is wild is that he is more than a decade younger than me and also had a crush on Halle Berry as a child.
lmfao i remember i bought the huaraches in 2018 being oblivious to trends and everyone made fun of me for being late on the trend with me not even KNOWING that they were trendy lol, i still fit them today and i still have them, think ill wear them tomorrow again as a nice throwback look
I literally just tossed out some really old silly bands due to the plastic becoming hardened messes in the box I kept it in. I just kept it for years not doing anything with them
Nike Roshe runs, pocket t shirts with the leopard print pocket, good wood, POW chains, TISA snapbacks, Obey box logos, fox tails, lmao god the list goes on...
i was born 2003, when i was ab 8 my dad went on a trip to europe and he bought me back silly bands from paris. new zealand back before interent was popular was behind in trends very often so i was the ‘cool kid’ for about a month bc no one else had them lol
bro said "fatally died"
Juicy Couture had a huge comeback around 2020 in Berlin the context of the whole y2k style
I remember eco reds, baby phat, apple bottoms jeans, and rockawear. Oh wait can’t forget those DC shoes lmao
Born in 93 and damn, this was such a nostalgic video to watch.
The juicy tracksuits are still fairly popular in the uk
Speaking of silly bands, loom band bracelets were very big in the mid 2010s but nobody wears them anymore. Nobody except me because I still make them HAHAHAHA
😂😂👏👏
