Since I've watched your channel, Halloween has grown on me, here in the UK it's really taken off, but like christmas I'm a Bar-humbug sort of person. However you and your ghosts and witches have got under my skin, I'm in the process of making little ghosts but seeing this I have got to go large, so glad your back fully loaded and raring to go,, I just love this guy.❤😊
Love your creative imagination! These are magical. Also your idea to make butter and candy dishes with the casket form and stencils from Sharon Hoppe is genius, The way you used underglazes on the background of the stencils makes them come alive! I think I figured out how you did those: apply stencil, then underglazes, wax resist just on the stenciled area, remove stencil and apply black underglaze over the entire piece? I used Mayco’s black engobe instead of underglaze and they turned out fantastic. Thanks so much, Liana
I always enjoy your videos; you give so much imagination to run with. I also am waiting by the YT waiting for your next weekly video. As always, thank you for sharing your imagination and work process.
I am a seamstress by trade (mostly spooky themed bags!) just getting back into ceramics with the kiln and molds inherited from my grandmother who raised me. I got my first pottery (a cheap Amazon special) delivered yesterday. This is a perfect project for me. I have been watching your channel for a few weeks now getting inspired and learning. Thank you for being so open and real!
This ghost lamp is so cool! I love, love, love the ideas you and Mikki have brought to us lately. So happy you encouraged her to start her own your channel, now I have both of you to look forward to each week! Can’t wait to make this ghost!
Super adorable. I would never have considered doing that, but now I want to make one. 😉 You look like you’re back in your happy place. Thank you for sharing your fun and talent. 👻 🎃🧙♀️💀
He turned out great! Tried one similar on a much smaller scale for a tea light and found it difficult to get good folds and movement without cracking. But perhaps that was due to the clay body I was using - white stonewear with sand. Will have to try b-mix if I can get some.🤔My pottery supply store can't seem to keep it in stock. Good to see you back in your happy zone! Thanks for sharing! 💜
Hello and good day... I've been watching your videos with enthusiasm for a long time. Your camerawork is great and you can see exactly what you're doing. Unfortunately I can't speak English (so only with a translator). Are there perhaps subtitles in German too. Many greetings Birgit from Germany
Bonjour à vous j'espère que vous allez bien passe une bonne journée tous ce que vous faites ces magnifiques gros bisous de ma part adronie de France ❤❤❤❤❤

@hunterochsner That works too, but not how I did it. I'll show how I did Live with Sharon on Tuesday. I love that there are so many ways to do things.

@@joannpounders5567 Yeah, you want a smoother clay for this so you aren't fighting with the grog.
Super cute!
The shape of the pointy top is what we call a “squackle.” Lol.
Omg that is so cool, I just love it
Love all of your videos. they are always well explained.. Any chance for CHRISTMAS you might make small fairy houses.
@@kathyhuse9021 I do plan to switch into Christmas mode soon. There's at least one more project for Halloween I've been asked to show.

How do you glaze and fire these without them sticking to your kiln shelf?
@nikisloggett4265 I only glaze the outside. I'll be using Clayscapes Cream and I'll wipe back the bottom edge that will touch the kiln shelf.
@@hobblecreekpottery Thank you. So do you glaze the pieces that are kind of flaring up (the wispy, floating parts on the bottom edge of the ghost)?
How thick did you roll out the clay? And what is the measurement of your circle? I had total knee replacement, but I think I can do this fun light.
@@patriciag.6395 My bat is 12 inches, and I rolled it out a tick under 3/8 if an inch.
@@hobblecreekpottery thank you
