It helped me so much. I am so grateful for you and all of your techniques. I like that when you did do this project that you did it from beginning to end with the glazing putting the underglazes on because now it’s like oh my gosh, I can do that, thank you
This is so cool. Now I know how to do the sunset/night sky background!!! Thank you! I remember Jim Stafford and The Streak. I was in Jr High when streaking was popular. I grew up in a college town and there was streaking everywhere. My mom and her friend drove us down to greek town one night and we saw streakers. LOLOLOL. My mom was a hoot!!! I miss her!!!
It's always spooky season for me. Very versatile project. You could put a black rosebud as a knob on the butter dish or an entire arrangement of roses on the candy dish lid. Looks like the clouds are challenging the mountain to an arm wrestling competition. Thanks.
Did the sponges burning out dye or stain the clay? I often dry out my ware on paper. Once the color add copy stuck. Pulled off what I could but knew it would burn out. Yes, it stained the clay bottom and not just a pot but a sgraffito 2 handles wassailing cup. The song, yes, I remember from high school.
@pottersjournal No staining with burning up the sponge. It was a combo of white ash and a dry blob contained inside. I've heard that if you use newspaper , the ink can transfer. I bet yours looked cool.
Watched this again after your event with Sharon Hoppe. Great job explaining how to make a coffin butter dish.
@@BarbaraBlanc-xl8ns Thanks.
