- Close battle between my favorite Harman Kardon speakers. Onyx Studio 5 vs 7 which sounds better between the two quality portable speakers?

Hi guys! Just for clarification. The speaker that i am comparing to Studio 7 turns out to be Studio 5.. Thanks for those who notice... and thanks also for those who give their wonderful opinion on the comparison though i made a mistake, it is still a wonderful comparison with the big similarities on studio 5 & 6 . I change the title to lessen the confusion. But i will keep the video posted. And soon i will make the proper comparison between 6 & 7. Sorry guys & peace✌

i think, the bass is same quality.. but onyx 7 is little bit sharper, clean and crisp sound.. agreed the vocals are louder from onyx 5, but doesn't mean perfect for any genres.. i think onyx 7 is more comfortable in all genres

I think Onyx 7 has better base the only problem is the shape, I have onyx 5 and I can easily put it in my backpack and travel but onyx 7 has very bad shape in look and in travel
That looks like the Studio 5, the studio 6 has a darker handle.

Onyx 6 wins that's why I bought 2 of them and connected them wirelessly for a true stereo sound experience, very bright highs and deep punchy bass from just a small piece of speaker.

I have Onyx 5 even connect. 2 together still mono I think this is the same for Onyx 6 but Onyx 7 stand alone is stereo speaker, even today I went to shop and test it, sound was so nice

My question to you is what should you suggest to go for 6 or 7
I choose the 6. The overall sound is better, particularly bass. Its bassy & boomy woth more power. Its more sturdy built and has an IP certification

it depends If you want portability device should go for 6 because it's water proof and more easy to carry but for stand alone speaker in home 7 is better refer to better voice, keep in mind 7 they removed the water and dust proof

I think the overall sound of the Onyx 5 is better. Sound a little bit wider bass w/ the right amount of punch cleaner high's.
I have both now I’m playing side by side. Maybe it’s my brain but knowing there are 2 tweeters the vocals seem better on the onyx 7. And the onyx 5 the base is more but takes a way from the highs.
@@TeamVeterans. yes! Our taste in sound play a big part in determining the sound quality. I mean atleast in these range of speakers where the difference is so little. But technically, ur correct

I think both have excellent bass but the onyx7 has a punchier one.
Onyx 7 is Bass boosted for wider sound stage, onyx 6 have a deeper bass level + clearer and brighter highs
