In all respect, I think you misunderstand what faith is. Do you trust your friends and family? Faith is not as to whether God exists or not: I know Him. In 46 years, I have not had even one second of doubt that I know Christ and am bound for heaven - not even for a second. You claim to employ 'critical thinking,' yet the Bible says that creation is ample evidence for God. On what basis do you claim that your logic is sound over the Bible? The only way that you can test your own logic is by using your own logic. Atheism is a form of insanity. You are in intellectual and spiritual darkness. Be careful! You are in danger of eternal darkness. There is no joy in hell. It is total human depravity. Yet, Christ died on a Cross so that we may know the goodness of God. The surgeon explains to the family that he/she felt as if God was present in their heart and if not for His influence they would have performed the surgery more traditionally. But they felt very strongly to follow this feeling. The hospital investigation finds the surgeon did not follow proper procedure and protocol and caused the patient to die.
