Yes, it is a nightmare if you take it apart completely. I did see somewhere that they are selling a toll you can slide in to replace the pivot then change out the scales and replace the pivot screw basically you have to engage the axis lock at all times while replacing the pivot and don't lose the alignment of the washers and blade or you will have to spend 30-40 minute fumbling around as I did with a couple of Benchmade knives that I have disassembled in the past.

I seen some titanium scales for the benchmades that just came out this past year ( sorry I forget the name but it’s ugly with the plastic integral piece ) but yeah I think it was rips garage tech liner delete and it changed the entire look of the knife and am considering doing the same . The knife went from ugly to oh wow , nice transformation

I have a Mini Griptilian clone. Suspect these Aliexpress Micarta Scales would fit perfectly. Thanks for showing us the "sweat equity" for installing.
Maybe they would fit my best guess is they did copy the original like with the bugout.

I am wondering why scale makers don't do pocket clip holes for lefties too? Would love to get some but they mostly seem only right sided :D

Yes micarta makes the knife look way much better than just plastic.

I did measure it for you the original is 1.2 cm o 0.472'' the micarta scales are 1.3 cm or 0.511''
