Just have me an idea. I do new home window and home cleaning. I am around when the concrete is poured for driveway. They use these iron rods with a hook at one end and threaded on the other. Thinking it is a form or anchors the pad to the house pad. Tinker with the hook a bit and get a bit for the other end. Could just buy a hook bolt too. I am not allowed around flame or sharp objects so. easier alternative. LOL
That's a good idea. I tend to leave my ladders in the shed, so the ladder clamps and lock are only on the van when i am moving the ladders. So this hasn't been an issue for me.

thanks man, copied your clamps. added a bit of hose over the all thread where it hooks my rack for grip and to reduce scratching :D

You need to cover the lock somehow, because moister and sand will get inside and you won't be able to open it.
