The original Ford cilinder head temp sensor has no o-ring on the sensor itself. only the aftermarket sensor has an o ring included, because the aftermarket sensor is not as long as the original sensor its a little bit longer made, if you install the aftermaket sensor without the o ring, you will damage it, because you literally bend the sensor when screwing in. But the Oem sensor you can install it without the o ring, because its not needed.
About what false detection you are talking about? i have the same car for about 8 years now, and never ever had a problem with this sensor. If you install aftermarket sensor you will get false detection, you should buy the Oem for this one.
The temperature guage in the car was erratic, this was a cheap and easy possible solution before putting a thermostat in. As it turns out there was no thermostat in the car 🤦♂️
Somewhere, on the front of the block, passenger side, there's a casting sticks out horizontally, takes the sensor. That, is the coolant sensor. When you unscrew it, coolant will come out!!!
I like your videos, but you need to stop speeding up your camera. It's no big and really see or hear what you gotta say. It's not like a tape player that. When you fast for it, you can't hear nobody, so I'm asking you. Please stop fast for your videos. Or I will not watch them no more. I wanna know what an I need to do to fix my car. But I can't hear you because you keep speeding up your camera.
Make sure your videos are not speed because it's kind of hard to hear what you got to say when you fast for your s*** it sound like Chipmunks and I can't understand what the hell you talking about you need to just make the video over again so people can understand what you're saying and not speed the camera up because it's not make no sense nobody can understand what you're saying because you speeding the camera up so I don't think you should speed the camera if you think she should make a video make a video that people can understand don't make a video camera redo the video
Alot of people have been saying don't speed them up, i have a new video coming soon of putting a strut tower in that won't be sped up and hopefully people enjoy it 🙂
I am proud of you fixing things

Quale Ford modello
Mk 1 ford focus (2004 1.6)
That's the HEAD temp sensor. It sits in an AIR pocket. How the hell, can it be the COOLANT temp sensor ????
Who says its a coolant sensor anyway?
Older model mk1 focus has the coolant sensor btw.
Did you find the plug connector?
Any idea where I can get the connector block ?? I have a new temp sensor but can't get a new block anywhere 😢
That is not the coolant temperature sensor that is the cylinder head temperature sensor
It's the same.
Mine was longer
Since it is a dry system, it makes false detection. you should change that sensor to the water system.
It was broken so i changed it and there was no thermostat in the car
How can change this sensor to the water sistem? I have a same problem at 1.6 litre zetec se.

what seems to be the problem for you to change the coolant sensor?

Do you know the location of the Cooling fan switch on this engine?
I believe it's a resistor and it's on the radiator 🙂
@@IvegotaroughideaDIYchannel thank you for the reply
is this a for focus 1.6 Zetec ?
Surely that’s the cylinder head sensor ..
It maybe called that on other vehicles but it is a coolant temperature sensor on a Ford Focus, thanks for watching 🙂
it's in an air pocker, no coolant ???????????@@IvegotaroughideaDIYchannel

No it not, it sits in an air pocket, no coolant. Head temp sensor.

@@IvegotaroughideaDIYchannelThe video can be slowed down or sped up, touch the top right icon like a gear, you'll find normal speed and - or +
I can't tell if you're a man or a woman
I can tell you your statement is irrelevant
