Then that’s not a zoner... even if a character uses themselves as a projectile, they need to be able to entirely fall back on projectiles to win or have them be a major component of their kit. That’s like saying Captain Falcon would be rushdown if he shot forward projectile afterimages of himself. He would play like a zoner in that scenario, not rushdown.
I think a cool extra detail you could add, Is that the more stocks that you have in a three stock match, the more stars you have in the victory screen if you win
Ooh! I can add an aesthetic to this! In a spin-off game, Bad Piggies, the pig has different reactions dependent on how many stars it got. We can use this, but instead of a pig, it’s a bird. If it’s one star, the bird looks at the star while slightly nodding. If it’s two stars, the bird will be chuckling to itself in joy. And if it’s all three stars, the bird will be overjoyed and laughing triumphant.
How about we combine them all? If it’s one star, the pig will laugh, then the bird you chose will crash into them. When it looks up and sees the one lonely star, anal just raise one eyebrow and look at us, saying that we can do better than that. If it’s two stars the pig will begin to get a little nervous. When the bird you chose crashes into them and sees the two stars, they’ll bring out the rest of the main flock, The Blues, Chuck, Bomb, Matilda, and Terence to hear their opinions about the two stars. When they’re done, they look at us just smiling, knowing that we did a good job. And when it’s all three stars, the pig will get extremely nervous. Suddenly, the can of sardines lands on him, and the mighty eagle with all the birds on his back crashes into it killing the pig immediately. Then the mighty eagle drops off the flock and flies away. And when the birds all see all three stars, they celebrate wildly, knowing that we do the best job we could, and definitely made the eggs happy.
I feel like Red should be able to wall jump if he takes abilities from other characters. In an Angry Birds Stella, Stella is able to wall jump in said game.
I'll try making my own design of Red's moveset. Character design will be based on original ball form. Certain Characteristics: - Just as light as Kirby - When using Slingshot or Mighty Dash, careful not to aim any stage hazard unless intentional. They have momentum. - Red counts as a projectile even when launched normally. - He bounces upon contact with any opponent and recovers much faster. - The Angry Birds disappearing sound fx plays when Red is KOed. In Stamina Battles, he straight-up disappears, reenacting the visual effect. - The costumes are hats referencing AB Seasons special shorts, AB Friends special events, and AB Epic classes, all of which also affect the Side Special Weapon. [X/Tilt] N - Rapid peck Side - Head Bash. Lunges slightly forward. Up - Red flips the feathers on his head. Yeah. Those things. Launches/Juggles. Down - Low Beak attack. Trips. [X/Tilt Air] N - Spins whole body forward. Meteor effect. Forward - Lunging beak attack. Back - Tail feather slap. Up - Head feather slap. Juggles. Down - Ground Pound ala Tony. Big Meteor effect. [X/Smash] Side - Rage-filled scream. Like in AB2. Up - Rage-filled scream aimed upwards. Down - Rage-filled body slam. Lunges slightly forward. When it's filled, press Down Special to eat the Chili to make all your attacks Chili-powered (on fire) for a short time. Slightly damages over time. Effect disappears when defeated. [O/Slingshot] (ground only) - press Special near a Slingshot to mount. Once on the slingshot, aim at any direction regardless of Slingshot's position and release to launch Red to any opponent. Red has some super armor during flight. Along with sling tension, damage taken can actually affect slingshot launch distance and damage dealt. [Guard+Special] - Reposition Slingshot to current position. Like Steve's crafting table. [Throws] (Red lays opponent on ground and stands on top of them) Pummel - pecks them with his beak Forward & Back - drags them across the floor with his beak and throws them at either side. Up - drags them with his beak then throws them upwards. Down - TNT appears in-between, Red hits it and explodes. [Final Smash] Red throws a bunch of Canned Tuna. The skies darken. The Mighty Eagle swiftly "swoops and shoop da woops" at every corner of the stage. Similar to Pikachu's, Pacman's, and Sonic's.
The fact their main attack, the Slingshot, is mostly ignored and is irrelevant to making the most of his specials, since it's his only special, means this is not a good moveset
And I feel like alternative idea for his final smash should be that the opponent is put in a pig structure and all the angry birds all launch at the same time and hit the the opponent and the final hit is dealt by mighty eagle . And I feel this could also be a better alternative since this way we are also including red and representing all the angry birds as well
I think the best final character would be Tabuu. Think about it. He could use atacks of his minions and his boss battle, his classic mode would mimic the events from Subspace Emisssrary (like fighting Meta Ridley on Big Blue) and his stage could be the Great Maze. We have all these iconic villans, so why not bring the (second) best known Smash antagonist?

@@CrazyguysGamingCGG The Final Smash could also be the spring glitch with the pig creating a machine with TNT, glue, and several springs outside of it, then the pig detonates the TNT, which has the springs to freak out all over the place. It would probably work better as a cinematic FS.
Neat idea: If [bird] gets the winning KO with the mighty eagle, the following win screen will be an altered version of the 3 star one, where it instead shows the Destruction meter filling up to 100% As that's what happens when you clear a stage with the mighty eagle. instead of earning any stars, an on screen feather fills up like a meter, based on how much of the stage you destroyed with the eagle.
For Red's back air he should have did a front flip while elongating his beak that would hit foes behind him from low to high as a reference to Hal's boomeranging ability
I want to see a moveset for the guy used when your visualizing the throws. (cause it be funny) Also, I find it funny how the dash attack and side tilt are just like Wario's attacks.
I don't really dislike the new Angry Birds Movie art styles, it's just that Rovio (the Angry Birds creators) uses that style for every game now, and it doesn't look like they'll ever use the old one again. Edit: I just found out that Rovio's planning to bring back the old games with their glorified style again, so that's hopefully going to lead to new games made with BOTH styles :D
I’m pretty mixed of this moveset. The slingshot being the smash attacks always felt off, considering I feel it makes the aiming a bit more limited. There are also a lot of issues that come with making the 4 birds you used as alts even when sized down. Since the moveset contains pecking, chuck’s movie designed beak is significantly longer than the other 3, plus it would be out of character for Chuck not to be faster than the other 3. Then again I do think the Pac-Man idea (although not my preference personally) is a really cool idea, and you kept it simple for a simple character which makes sense.
I agree here, bomb as down special should do at least some amount of self damage to red (as he literally blows himself up), and a tradeoff to that would be a less time cooldown

I had a suggestion for a “what if” episode. What if the Loader from Risk of Rain was in smash? Maybe even adding some of the usable equipment items to the move set to make up for the fact she’s mostly melee combat based.
Honestly would like to see a moveset for the brothers based entirely on the Mario and Luigi games Curious how the duo thing could be used though, since I wouldn't say either is like "the main one" here, like, yeah it's Mario and Luigi, but, they're both kinda in the spotlight here, and even if Mario leads the two and you play as hin solo in most games first, Luigi is still just as much in the spotlight as Mario, hell Dream Team was all about Luigi. Point is, I'm curious what will be done for the pair, since they work together as equal members of a team a lot more than Ice Climbers, who has Nana as a player 2, and Rosalina and Luma, which very clearly as Rosalina as essentially the commander in a way. I have an awesome Idea: How about you make a series called "What If ____ Was A Boss In Smash?" You basically start like any other video by explaining the game the character appears, then you explain the battle intro, then you explain all the attacks of the boss, and in the end you explain the death animation. My Current Ideas for that are: Dark Star Core (from Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story) (I would love it if the progression of the battle is like in the game, where you first attack the glasses, then the legs, and finally the core which was offscreen up until now.) I like the idea about using the slingshot leading into aerials but i feel like having it a smash attack makes it a bit worse since you cant use it in midair. I think having it as a neutral special would be better because 1. You can use it anywhere, 2. It could be used as a recovery option which fits very well and 3. Kirby in a slingshot lmao. As a diehard Angry Birds fan, I’m really grateful you put so much effort into this (and did it at all) most people would just look at the OG. I REALLY like the structure of this moveset!! I love the Slingshot being the smash attacks, I never thought of that, I always had it as the neutral B. There are definitely things I would change. As you can probably expect, I’d scrap the movie designs. For attacks that use the limbs, you could either pull from other bird abilities, or, my personal favorite, use items from games like Epic, Bad Piggies etc to give the moveset more visual variety. I’d also add more birds as alts. Red, Bomb, Chuck, Matilda, Hal, Bubbles, Silver and Stella. Yeah there’s sizing issues but I still think It’d work. Some of the animations should also be taken from other games. There’s a surprising amount of stuff to pull from for it. In my moveset, I had Red turn into the different Birds for their respective attacks, and I’m honestly torn between wanting that or what you have here. I’d love to see you make a moveset for the Pigs!! I actually think they’re easier to design.

Can we have the Monster Hunter Stories 2 protagonists, Leon and Leia (those are the default names), probably something similar to pokemon trainer where the rider is in the background and have a meter system with kinship to use specials, and landing basic attacks, and can switch between monsties, probably a ratholos, volocidrome, and some other monstie, though, unlike pokemon trainer, the rider doesn't just sit around, but I think you can figure something out!
I think the down throw should have been referencing Stella, red would pull out the bubble wand Stella uses and send the foe in the air before popping the bubble, which causes the foe to slam into the ground
You know there are actually videos which are basically ads, for an Angry Birds game where at the start the Angry Birds look like there movie counterparts, but then at times they turn into there original Mobile game designs.
This is a really interesting moveset and feels really fitting for the Angry Birds. Also you should do Om Nom from the Cut the Rope series next, since he's also from a mobile game that was so popular that it got ported to some of Nintendo's consoles.

Still waiting for Morgan Yu from Prey (2017). there’s so many abilities that could be moves. For example: Backlash could be down special as a counter. Kinetic blast, electrostatic burst or superthermal could be used similar to Zelda’s side special. Lift field or phantom shift can be used as an up special. Mimic Matter can be a visual change for dodging. (Example, Morgan could transform into a coffee cup for a spot dodge) The shotgun could be used for side tilts and smashes. The wrench could be used for aerials
All I have to say is that this better be in smash. It would finally give me hope for Mobile games. Edit: you should team up with McLeod gaming and make a new smash game. Maybe I dunno, Ultra Brawl Fans: Infinite. Get it? Infinite? cuz there is always new charachters. Dang you've made more charachters than smash ultimate itself. You could be a great success. What if Pyro was in smash? Final smash: Pyro makes a fire path in front of him. Any foe hit by it will take at least 5% of damage before being thrown into the cinematic. Pyro would be seen burning down buildings. After seeing where the opponent is hiding, he locks that place up with his axe, and burns the building down that was keeping the opponent. This works like how incineroar’s final smash works, if any other foes were near, they take 15-20% of damage. This ALSO was inspired by the Meet the pyro video, in which: A: He’s seen burning down buildings B: he’s killed a BLU medic by LOCKING THE DOOR WITH HIS AXE AND BURNING THE BUILDING AS WELL AS HIM. Gruesome, I know. Down smash: he could use that attack from that one taunt where fire appears all around him. It would have a bit of start lag, but great damage. One victory screen idea: he could be walking away into a barrage of flames, like sephiroth’s victory screen. Only difference is after pyro goes away, a building falls, blocking the path to go to him. Also inspired by meet the pyro. Up special: Him using the jet pack. No damage but great recovery, useful for keeping up with combos. Stage entrance: Him walking through a inferno of flames and into the stage.
I love Angry Birds as much as the next commenter born in 2007, so I would very much enjoy to see them in Smash Bros. The moveset you've given them is awesome, and I actually really like the feature of them being able to switch between their classic and movie forms. That's actually a really cool idea.

How about we combine them all? If it’s one star, the pig will laugh, then the bird you chose will crash into them. When it looks up and sees the one lonely star, anal just raise one eyebrow and look at us, saying that we can do better than that. If it’s two stars the pig will begin to get a little nervous. When the bird you chose crashes into them and sees the two stars, they’ll bring out the rest of the main flock, The Blues, Chuck, Bomb, Matilda, and Terence to hear their opinions about the two stars. When they’re done, they look at us just smiling, knowing that we did a good job. And when it’s all three stars, the pig will get extremely nervous. Suddenly, the can of sardines lands on him, and the mighty eagle with all the birds on his back crashes into it killing the pig immediately. Then the mighty eagle drops off the flock and flies away. And when the birds all see all three stars, they celebrate wildly, knowing that we do the best job we could, and definitely made the eggs happy.
Or it can be for every stock, just divided by 3
I feel like Red should be able to wall jump if he takes abilities from other characters. In an Angry Birds Stella, Stella is able to wall jump in said game.

I'll try making my own design of Red's moveset. Character design will be based on original ball form.
Certain Characteristics:
- Just as light as Kirby
- When using Slingshot or Mighty Dash, careful not to aim any stage hazard unless intentional. They have momentum.
- Red counts as a projectile even when launched normally.
- He bounces upon contact with any opponent and recovers much faster.
- The Angry Birds disappearing sound fx plays when Red is KOed. In Stamina Battles, he straight-up disappears, reenacting the visual effect.
- The costumes are hats referencing AB Seasons special shorts, AB Friends special events, and AB Epic classes, all of which also affect the Side Special Weapon.
[X/Tilt]
N - Rapid peck
Side - Head Bash. Lunges slightly forward.
Up - Red flips the feathers on his head. Yeah. Those things. Launches/Juggles.
Down - Low Beak attack. Trips.
[X/Tilt Air]
N - Spins whole body forward. Meteor effect.
Forward - Lunging beak attack.
Back - Tail feather slap.
Up - Head feather slap. Juggles.

Side - Lunging Sword Attack. Damage and distance adds the longer you hold. From Angry Birds Epic. Air OK.
Up - Mighty Dash. Just like Firefox. Freeform aim during activation to dash in any direction or change course mid-flight.
Down - Use Rage Chili. Fill up Chili Gauge by hitting opponents or taking it (also eliminating stocks). When it's filled, press Down Special to eat the Chili to make all your attacks Chili-powered (on fire) for a short time. Slightly damages over time. Effect disappears when defeated.
[O/Slingshot] (ground only)
- press Special near a Slingshot to mount. Once on the slingshot, aim at any direction regardless of Slingshot's position and release to launch Red to any opponent. Red has some super armor during flight. Along with sling tension, damage taken can actually affect slingshot launch distance and damage dealt.
[Guard+Special]
- Reposition Slingshot to current position. Like Steve's crafting table.
[Throws] (Red lays opponent on ground and stands on top of them)
Pummel - pecks them with his beak
Forward & Back - drags them across the floor with his beak and throws them at either side.
Up - drags them with his beak then throws them upwards.
Down - TNT appears in-between, Red hits it and explodes.
[Final Smash]
Red throws a bunch of Canned Tuna. The skies darken. The Mighty Eagle swiftly "swoops and shoop da woops" at every corner of the stage. Similar to Pikachu's, Pacman's, and Sonic's.
The fact their main attack, the Slingshot, is mostly ignored and is irrelevant to making the most of his specials, since it's his only special, means this is not a good moveset

I think the best final character would be Tabuu. Think about it. He could use atacks of his minions and his boss battle, his classic mode would mimic the events from Subspace Emisssrary (like fighting Meta Ridley on Big Blue) and his stage could be the Great Maze. We have all these iconic villans, so why not bring the (second) best known Smash antagonist?

The Final Smash could also be the spring glitch with the pig creating a machine with TNT, glue, and several springs outside of it, then the pig detonates the TNT, which has the springs to freak out all over the place.
It would probably work better as a cinematic FS.
I mean if Bad Piggies is the focus then, I'm not sure how, given the whole customization thing.
Well if the Angry Birds can make it, I'm sure the greedy yet crafty Bad Piggies have a shot as well.

If [bird] gets the winning KO with the mighty eagle, the following win screen will be an altered version of the 3 star one, where it instead shows the Destruction meter filling up to 100%
As that's what happens when you clear a stage with the mighty eagle. instead of earning any stars, an on screen feather fills up like a meter, based on how much of the stage you destroyed with the eagle.

I don't really dislike the new Angry Birds Movie art styles, it's just that Rovio (the Angry Birds creators) uses that style for every game now, and it doesn't look like they'll ever use the old one again.
Edit: I just found out that Rovio's planning to bring back the old games with their glorified style again, so that's hopefully going to lead to new games made with BOTH styles :D

I’m pretty mixed of this moveset.
The slingshot being the smash attacks always felt off, considering I feel it makes the aiming a bit more limited.
There are also a lot of issues that come with making the 4 birds you used as alts even when sized down. Since the moveset contains pecking, chuck’s movie designed beak is significantly longer than the other 3, plus it would be out of character for Chuck not to be faster than the other 3.
Then again I do think the Pac-Man idea (although not my preference personally) is a really cool idea, and you kept it simple for a simple character which makes sense.
I agree here, bomb as down special should do at least some amount of self damage to red (as he literally blows himself up), and a tradeoff to that would be a less time cooldown

I had a suggestion for a “what if” episode. What if the Loader from Risk of Rain was in smash? Maybe even adding some of the usable equipment items to the move set to make up for the fact she’s mostly melee combat based.
A Mario and Luigi move set would be nice. Basically my idea of it would be just like how the ice climbers work

Curious how the duo thing could be used though, since I wouldn't say either is like "the main one" here, like, yeah it's Mario and Luigi, but, they're both kinda in the spotlight here, and even if Mario leads the two and you play as hin solo in most games first, Luigi is still just as much in the spotlight as Mario, hell Dream Team was all about Luigi.

I have an awesome Idea: How about you make a series called "What If ____ Was A Boss In Smash?"
You basically start like any other video by explaining the game the character appears, then you explain the battle intro, then you explain all the attacks of the boss, and in the end you explain the death animation.
My Current Ideas for that are:
Dark Star Core (from Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story) (I would love it if the progression of the battle is like in the game, where you first attack the glasses, then the legs, and finally the core which was offscreen up until now.)

I would suggest the chef from Overcooked. Kitchen cookers for weaponry, and cooking together meals for extra damage.

I like the idea about using the slingshot leading into aerials but i feel like having it a smash attack makes it a bit worse since you cant use it in midair. I think having it as a neutral special would be better because 1. You can use it anywhere, 2. It could be used as a recovery option which fits very well and 3. Kirby in a slingshot lmao.
I have some other gripes but their mostly nitpicks from an angry birds fan lmao

Does it really make logical sense for it to be in air though? I feel like it works best being grounded considering it is used to gain height from the ground in the first place. I dunno.

My biggest reason for wanting Jonesy in Smash is so that we can finally have the Fortnite vs. Minecraft fight we've all been waiting for.

As a diehard Angry Birds fan, I’m really grateful you put so much effort into this (and did it at all) most people would just look at the OG.
I REALLY like the structure of this moveset!! I love the Slingshot being the smash attacks, I never thought of that, I always had it as the neutral B. There are definitely things I would change.
As you can probably expect, I’d scrap the movie designs.
For attacks that use the limbs, you could either pull from other bird abilities, or, my personal favorite, use items from games like Epic, Bad Piggies etc to give the moveset more visual variety.
I’d also add more birds as alts.
Red, Bomb, Chuck, Matilda, Hal, Bubbles, Silver and Stella. Yeah there’s sizing issues but I still think It’d work.
Some of the animations should also be taken from other games. There’s a surprising amount of stuff to pull from for it.
In my moveset, I had Red turn into the different Birds for their respective attacks, and I’m honestly torn between wanting that or what you have here.
I’d love to see you make a moveset for the Pigs!! I actually think they’re easier to design.

Can we have the Monster Hunter Stories 2 protagonists, Leon and Leia (those are the default names), probably something similar to pokemon trainer where the rider is in the background and have a meter system with kinship to use specials, and landing basic attacks, and can switch between monsties, probably a ratholos, volocidrome, and some other monstie, though, unlike pokemon trainer, the rider doesn't just sit around, but I think you can figure something out!
I think the down throw should have been referencing Stella, red would pull out the bubble wand Stella uses and send the foe in the air before popping the bubble, which causes the foe to slam into the ground

You know there are actually videos which are basically ads, for an Angry Birds game where at the start the Angry Birds look like there movie counterparts, but then at times they turn into there original Mobile game designs.
I'd like to put in my count for a possible Gex move-set, the famous gecko from the Gex series of video games.
This is a really interesting moveset and feels really fitting for the Angry Birds. Also you should do Om Nom from the Cut the Rope series next, since he's also from a mobile game that was so popular that it got ported to some of Nintendo's consoles.
That could actually work! There's lots of material with which to work, not just from the games, but also the TWENTY SEASONS OF OM NOM STORIES THAT HAVE RELEASED AS OF LATE.

Still waiting for Morgan Yu from Prey (2017). there’s so many abilities that could be moves. For example:
Backlash could be down special as a counter.
Kinetic blast, electrostatic burst or superthermal could be used similar to Zelda’s side special.
Lift field or phantom shift can be used as an up special.
Mimic Matter can be a visual change for dodging. (Example, Morgan could transform into a coffee cup for a spot dodge)
The shotgun could be used for side tilts and smashes.
The wrench could be used for aerials

All I have to say is that this better be in smash. It would finally give me hope for Mobile games.
Edit: you should team up with McLeod gaming and make a new smash game. Maybe I dunno, Ultra Brawl Fans: Infinite. Get it? Infinite? cuz there is always new charachters. Dang you've made more charachters than smash ultimate itself. You could be a great success. The charachters are more diverse and not limited to video games. (If you make a moveset for waluigi everyone would love you)

What if Pyro was in smash?
Final smash: Pyro makes a fire path in front of him. Any foe hit by it will take at least 5% of damage before being thrown into the cinematic.
Pyro would be seen burning down buildings. After seeing where the opponent is hiding, he locks that place up with his axe, and burns the building down that was keeping the opponent. This works like how incineroar’s final smash works, if any other foes were near, they take 15-20% of damage. This ALSO was inspired by the Meet the pyro video, in which:
A: He’s seen burning down buildings
B: he’s killed a BLU medic by LOCKING THE DOOR WITH HIS AXE AND BURNING THE BUILDING AS WELL AS HIM. Gruesome, I know.
Down smash: he could use that attack from that one taunt where fire appears all around him. It would have a bit of start lag, but great damage.
One victory screen idea: he could be walking away into a barrage of flames, like sephiroth’s victory screen. Only difference is after pyro goes away, a building falls, blocking the path to go to him. Also inspired by meet the pyro.
Up special: Him using the jet pack. No damage but great recovery, useful for keeping up with combos.
Stage entrance: Him walking through a inferno of flames and into the stage.

I love Angry Birds as much as the next commenter born in 2007, so I would very much enjoy to see them in Smash Bros. The moveset you've given them is awesome, and I actually really like the feature of them being able to switch between their classic and movie forms. That's actually a really cool idea.
