TIER LIST AS OF 9/28/19 - i.imgur.com/lhn3Jos.png At the time of writing, this video has been out for less than an hour and there are already so many errors pointed out. I'm working on individual videos for each of these characters, they will be up in soon, I want to wait for more corrections before making them. For now heres some text. Samus/Dark Samus: They can actually make it to the last area! They can use Bomb then wall jump on the left wall in Area 2 (it works at very specific angles), then Up B to make it up to the yellow platform. You need a precisely timed Bomb Jump involving multiple Bombs to then make it to the steel platform on the right, but it is doable, and then she can just Up B to the end of Area 2. Area 3 is cake, but like many other characters, they get stuck in the last area. They do better than almost any other character currently in B though, coming within CMs of hitting the top platform and escaping. th-cam.com/video/oJGE1WDtnqg/w-d-xo.html - Thank you to crashandcortex for finding this out Ness: Both Ness and Lucas can make it slightly further by hitting themselves from above with their up b. They both get popped up and can up b after. Ness can make it to the last area, but gets stuck like most others. I'll place him under Fox. Peach: Peach is a wierd one. It turns out she can damage herself with her own bombs. You just have to hold them until it detonates. The only problem is that every test done in this and the Melee video was done with perfect RNG (Like Hero's). Unfortunately, unless someone can mod the game, I can't get perfect RNG and cannot figure out peachs time. I suppose I'll just put her at the bottom of A tier, right behind Joker. Edit(12/22/19) Shoutouts to Roadhog360 on youtube! He actually owns a modded console and was able to record and upload a video of a successful Peach run. The timings and rankings I predicted look like they do not hold true. Zero Suit Samus: This ones not even an error with the characters run itself but at 12:32 I put Wario's text where hers should have been... It should have said "Her flipkick leaves her in too much lag to up to the next platform." Not gonna lie though thats kinda funny. Lucas: Lucas benefits from the same discovery Ness does. However, he goes further than Ness with his up b, letting him into A tier. I'll place him right after Wario for now. I'll place him at the bottom of it for now. Wii Fit trainer: Mashing up B while it is active gives you extra height, enough for her to make it to the final area. She falls short of making it, putting her slightly above Mr. Game and Watch. Little Mac: Thanks to a unique glitch involving the Stage Builder's handling of sloped material, Little Mac can actually make it to the yellow platform in Area 2 by rolling to the right edge, using Side B (which goes a higher distance when used on slopes), wall jump, then Up B to the platform, putting him ahead of Mii Swordfighter and (hilariously) Falco in C tier. (Credit to TommyCD1: th-cam.com/video/zLU9lhJR0n8/w-d-xo.html) Greninja: He can make it with a very precise angle. Thanks to Elu Tran for providing the video - th-cam.com/video/FD3L3sW_voo/w-d-xo.html. (I know this looks obvious but I did actually try this method in the video. It gets covered by the Tier list screen). Anyway, this would put him in S tier, I would say behind Piranha plant. Pac-Man: Thanks to @Giorch_ on twitter for posting his improved Pac-Man time utilizing his side b. twitter.com/Giorch_/status/1177369987687833601?s=20. He finished with a time of 26.73 seconds (13.27 seconds left). This will put him further up S tier, right behind pit (who finished with 13.53 seconds left) Shulk: @WheatTheMoron on twitter replied to this video. He said, "So, it IS possible to get Shulk past the final area of Brinstar, though it's not easy. There is a glitch where Shulk gains a *bit* of extra height when he jumps while the Jump art runs out. Using this and making sure I was on the sides, I was able to get Shulk up." - th-cam.com/video/-KPJ_X8BDGs/w-d-xo.html. Shulk is now S tier. I place him between Bayonetta and Corrin. Bowser Jr.: He can jump out of his side B the same way Wario can and use his mechakoopa to damage boost. He is now S tier, I put him between Rosalina and Robin. Duckhunt: Duckhunt can damage boost with his neutral special, allowing him to make it to the end. I'm not sure how long it will take him until I test it. He'll remain top of A tier for now. Isabelle: Her up special actually travels a little bit less than Villagers. I have to actually record hers now. Banjo and Kazooie: Banjo was not out yet during the release of this video. Greninja's up b into walljump doesn't give him enough height since he is stuck in lag, ZSS was mentioned in the pinned comment (was supposed to be the video too :/), you are correct about bow jr's side b I'll add that to the pinned comment, and the characters that can wallcling can alreay make it faster without it. (except squirtle but thats because he cant reach the wall.)

Angel Mora I wasn’t judging if you knew your main or not. I was wondering what the definition of it was, and I think you summed it up perfectly. For me, my main would be Jigglypuff. I know she’s a bit gimmicky, but that’s why I like using her and I have won a good amount of battles with Jigglypuff.

It has always been possible to survive a shield break with jigglypuff aslong as there‘s a thick wall that is about double the size of jigglypuff because it sometimes moves to a side....for some reason.

LunarRay honestly it’s not as bleak as it sounds, With the metroids never going extinct the X are a non-issue, so the universe is fine, Galaxy might be screwed though
@@Swagner17 are you confused about the relation between metroids and the X or the thing about the galaxy being in danger? Because i can explain both. Metroids were created by the chozo, an ancient race of bird people, to fight against the X parasites. The X can bond with any living being, completely taking over their hosts mind, and absorbing their DNA, allowing them to regain that hosts form at any point. Metroids are immune to the X parasites, and they suck the life out of any being the chozo wanted, leaving the X that already had a host with no escape and the hostless X with no potential hosts. However, in metroid 2, samus is tasked with exterminating every single metroid, which she does (except for one baby metroid, which she takes to federation scientists). With the metroids gone, the X can flourish again, leading to the events of metroid fusion. If samus died before metroid 2, however, the metroids would've never gone extinct, thus the X would've never been a threat. The galaxy in danger stuff is pretty obvious. The space pirates would have lost their greatest enemy, which makes taking over much easier, and the phazon, while never gaining the persona of dark samus, would've been able to spread freely.

I find it nice that the Ice Climbers managed to make it, it's accurate. For being Ice *Climbers* they sure don't have the skillset that quite perfectly maches them, but eh

1. Amazing stage, seriously! Love the amount of detail you put into it, and the use of the Kirby's was also a cute lil touch. 2. Some of the characters felt like you didn't do it properly... for example, Bowser Jr. could have made it if you used the mechakoopa. 3. And of course we can't forget to applaud Little Mac for getting as far as he did. :)
cant imagine how long this must have taken to make, this deserves just as much recognition than the original melee brainstar one (sure for melee it was more original, but way more work must have been put into this one). Props to you man, im subbing, liking and sharing

Sora just been released and by combining his up Special with his side special, he can definitely escape Brinstar in time without jumping. However if you use only his up Special, he is stuck in the first area. If you utilize his side special only, getting out of the 2nd area can be very tricky as I think you need to be pointing straight up on the control stick to get him up to the first platform. It will take a few tries but it works. However his quest ends at the final area as he cannot reach the final platform before finish using only his side special.
this is so fucking cool, there’s people making memes about this and that’s lovely, the order of the characters is by number order snd not how far they made it making their journey less predictable, THE FACT THAT YOU BROUGHT A MELEE STAGE TO ULTIMATE, smooth transitions, god fucking damnit man you deserve a million kudos!
@@yaldabaoth4807 Dark Pit was only able to fly with the power he stole from Pandora. After he lost that power when she resurrects in the Rewind Spring, he loses the power and also needs the Power of Flight.

Kazuya was just released for ssbu. After extensive testing, it was concluded that Kazuya cannot escape brinstar without jumping. In fact, he is stuck in the first area with his head just barely passing through the final platform, even using your DAD afterwards doesn't help as it does not grant him enough height to do so.
Litterally a character that has NO RECOVERY MOVES AT ALL can get to the top in actual 23 seconds (EDIT: It's Jigglypuff) (EDIT 2: Grammar) (EDIT 3: 33 seconds my bad

i think you might get extra height of you hit a wall with greninja up b and wall jump
zss can walljump flipkick which gets much more height than just flip kicking
im not sure if jumping out of bow jr's side b counts as a jump since it doesn't take away his double jump
same with wallcling jumping on many characters (which gets more height than walljumps)

Metroids were created by the chozo, an ancient race of bird people, to fight against the X parasites. The X can bond with any living being, completely taking over their hosts mind, and absorbing their DNA, allowing them to regain that hosts form at any point. Metroids are immune to the X parasites, and they suck the life out of any being the chozo wanted, leaving the X that already had a host with no escape and the hostless X with no potential hosts. However, in metroid 2, samus is tasked with exterminating every single metroid, which she does (except for one baby metroid, which she takes to federation scientists). With the metroids gone, the X can flourish again, leading to the events of metroid fusion. If samus died before metroid 2, however, the metroids would've never gone extinct, thus the X would've never been a threat.
The galaxy in danger stuff is pretty obvious. The space pirates would have lost their greatest enemy, which makes taking over much easier, and the phazon, while never gaining the persona of dark samus, would've been able to spread freely.

2. Some of the characters felt like you didn't do it properly... for example, Bowser Jr. could have made it if you used the mechakoopa.

@@morganpriest7726 yeah Jigglypuff turns into a rocket when it's shield breaks. Edit:it's intentional if that's what you're wondering it's been like that since the original smash.
Sora just been released and by combining his up Special with his side special, he can definitely escape Brinstar in time without jumping. However if you use only his up Special, he is stuck in the first area. If you utilize his side special only, getting out of the 2nd area can be very tricky as I think you need to be pointing straight up on the control stick to get him up to the first platform. It will take a few tries but it works. However his quest ends at the final area as he cannot reach the final platform before finish using only his side special.

Kazuya was just released for ssbu. After extensive testing, it was concluded that Kazuya cannot escape brinstar without jumping. In fact, he is stuck in the first area with his head just barely passing through the final platform, even using your DAD afterwards doesn't help as it does not grant him enough height to do so.
