There are going to be a good amount of characters who unfortunately will not become playable characters in Smash.
But it's still interesting to think about what kind of move sets these characters can have if they were playable, so that's why I'm here today.

Mistakes in the video:
When I initially posted this video, I used the incorrect spelling of the word "Horde" using "Hoard" instead without realizing the difference between the spellings.
So while the Thumbnail and Video title are now correct, the title within the video itself has the wrong spelling of the word.
The video title also says "Was" instead of "Were", this was the first villain character that required "Were" so I didn't catch it when I put in the villain background during editing.

Palutena: *neutral* Luckily he’s only here for backup. The ones you’ll be mostly fighting against are his pawns.
Pit: *worried* I’m Sorry, _”pawns”_ ? As in plural? As in this Zomboss guy has more?
Palutena: *concerned* Well yes. And they can still be deadly if you’re not careful. Especially since these ones are combat-engineered.
Pit: So focus on the little guy, but be careful when the big guy strikes.
Pit: *determined* Got it! I’ll make sure to keep BRAINS in the game!

This will be long, but I had an idea for what the reveal trailer could be:
The trailer starts out showing a shot of an animal crossing village, focusing on a house. We then see Villager, Olimar, Bowser Jr., and Ivysaur hanging out inside, maybe playing video games. We then see a pov shot of something slowly lurching towards the house. There's then scratching heard at the door, and Villager goes to open the door. He hesitantly opens the door, and looks around, seeing a butterfly and sighing in relief. A zombie covered in shadow then jumps out, scaring Villager who slams the door and boards up the doors and windows in cartoonish puffs of smoke. He and his friends then look around the house, prepared to fight, and after a moment of silence the roof explodes, showing a shot panning up to reveal Zomboss in his small mech, who starts cackling where the splash screen then occurs. After that some in-game footage is shown, showing shots including:
-A group of zombies surrounding Mother Brain
-The Zombie picking up a ramblin mushroom item and throwing it off stage
-A horde of zombies chasing after Kappn's van (In reference to Penny from PvZ 2)
-The zombie swimming (As an aesthetic detail when the zombie is swimming it could wear the gear of the scuba-zombie)
-Shots showing the zombie using his more unique attacks on the PvZ stage
There would then be a shot of a bunch of zombies fighting be throwing razor leafs and hitting zombies with its vines, Bowser Jr. would be flying around while holding Piranha Plant who is eating zombies like the Chomper, and Villager throwing trees from his pockets. It appears they have the upper hand and surround Zomboss, who then calls out and flies away while a bunch of zombies crawl out of the ground and grab everyone, and Zomboss then returns in his giant mech, transitioning into footage of his final smash, which then goes into the Smash Bros. X PvZ screen. For the short scene afterwards, it could show Villager and co. running away while zombies chase them and Zomboss flies after them, but he then suddenly stops and looks to the side to see a zombie gnawing at Rob's head, trying to eat his brain, to which Zomboss facepalms and the trailer then ends.

1)You know you should add minecraft steve into the show as he will swipe off the zombies with his sword just like modern minecraft days
2)you may as well put minecraft zombie inside the horde to show an easter egg or whenever their is a horde scene
It just came to me how, conceptually, this moveset is the opposite of Crazy Dave's.
Dave is the main fighter, going at it with the plants as support to his moves, both sides helping each other equally.
Zomboss is the support, making his mooks do all the dirty work while he sits back in safety, only occasionally helping.

Here's an idea: what if, for Dr. Zomboss' alts, his mech could take on the different appearances that it does in different eras in Plants versus Zombies 2.

I think that it would be funny if whenever the Zombie taunts, Dr. Zomboss also taunts. His first taunt would be him laughing maniacally, his second taunt could be him pressing a bunch of buttons in his mech, and his third taunt would be him pulling out a Pop Smart (a Brainz treat that all zombies love to eat, mainly seen in the graphic novels, but also referenced in Garden Warfare 2) and eats it.

@@timothytardie756 True. I could also see him petting Mr. Stubbins, his pet zombie hedgehog, but that's also mainly from the comics. However, I could also see him either writing a note, as we've seen him do in both PvZ & PvZ2, or facepalming at his zombies' stupidity.

Here's a commonly-made mistake: "Hoard" refers to a collection of items or the act of gathering such, while "horde" refers to a large group of living -- or, in this case, undead -- beings.
In a way, both apply to this. Since Zomboss tends to treat his army more like weapons, a collection of weapons while he takes all the credit.

Here is an idea, instead of the costumes altering zomboss's lab coat, what if they changed his mech?

Maybe the costume alts will be referencing worlds in pvz 2
Default zombie: Similar to the standard look of browncoats in pvz 1 and in modern day, Zomboss on the other hand will be in his zombot from the first game
Similar costume pairs can be, pirate seas and the plank walker, wild west and the war wagon, mummy zombie and the sphinxinator, etc

It’d be cool to see a moveset for Hank J. Wimbleton, who despite not being a good guy in the slightest, is the protagonist of the Madness Combat series. While the Madness Combat series is mostly webtoons, there have been a fair share of Madness Combat games, and there are more than enough episodes of Madness Combat to pull from. Hank has also appeared in a Smash Bros style game already, in Newgrounds Rumble. With Madness Combat and Newgrounds as a whole regaining popularity recently, it would be cool to see a moveset for Hank.

Tricky should also be done too hell I’ve even done work on how a moveset for tricky In smash would look like
For his up b he uses his jet pack from mc3
For his neutral b he pulls out an M60 which doesn’t do flinching damage but can still rack up a good amount of percent
For his down b he could spawn a small building with grunts and agents pouring out that are hostile towards his enemy just like how he does in a bunch of mc videos
For his side b, he could either ride his train from mc 6 OR taking inspiration from this one dk moveset revision I’ve seen he orders a hotdog and proceeds to eat it, if you hit him while he’s ordering or eating it he does a counter based on mc6 were he says *you do not kill clown, clown kills YOU* and then slashes u with his sign and he does his little happy pose afterwards
Oh yeah and for his smashes he goes in his demon form with his forward smash having him shoot fire balls like how he does in the MC game Madness Accelerant

I once had this idea for the character to literally be “Plants vs Zombies” and you’d be controlling both together and because of that they have a self damage thing like Pichu, and their whole gimmick was not only mimicking their rolls in the game proper but also knocking eachother around.
If anything that's Tom and Jerry's gimmick, still a good idea

I think it would be interesting to see a moveset for the solid white guy. He's been used to showcase attacks like throws and pummels so much, I think he's getting tired of it.

Yep, Cadence has more that enough potential for a smash moveset.
Perhaps for the gimmick, you deal extra damage when you attack in sync with the music? That way Cadence isn't directly hindered when ignoring the gimmick, but is still able to get some use out of it.

i think that the gravestones should change with the alts
Two things I thought of: first as part of the costumes have zomboss use the different mechs throughout the ages, because if you have 8 zombosses flying around in the same mech, it becomes confusing. Second, instead of slashing down, i think jab should be the eating animation, because that is more iconic I think

It's one of the best pvz games ever and the first one I even played.
I don't think it's the best, I think it's the worst. I had a miserable time playing it. It really just wasn't fun, it was frustrating.
Idk if others suggested it, but 2B could be pretty interesting. She could have the ability to glide with Pod after a double jump, some nice combos with the heavy and light attacks, maybe the down special could be a taunt borrowed from A2 where she takes damage over time in exchange for increased damage. Pod could also be used for some of the specials, like the standard laser for the side special.

Alternate Down Smash Idea: "Jurassic Rockpuncher" The Zombie's brow furrows as two rocks appears in their hands, when the smash is unleashed, they smash the spot infront of themself, dealing super massive damage and very good launch power, the catch is that the hitbox is the same as a Solo Climber's D-Smash [only hitting Infront of themself at a low angle], but a plus that Jurassic Rockpuncher has, is that the Smash attack leaves behind smoldering rubble that damages all foes that step on it.
Asthetic Idea: The Mooks and Armor could also have the attire of the relevant eras from Pvz 2 with a Giga Gargantuar [the one from Garden Warfare] for the Footsolder Alt.

As another character, since we are talking about the PvZ games, how about the pea shooter. I feel like it could be a good idea.
That would not work because plants protect the humans from the zombies. It would be wierd to ignore the fact that the plants were created to protect the humans.

I feel like the final smash could work like a charge forward, (like K. Rools or Ridleys final smashes) where Zomboss flies off screen laughing maniacally while the zombie player calls out summoning and large group of zombies to its position to charge forward a certain distance. Any foes caught in the crowd with be slammed down onto the roof from the first PVZ where Zomboss in his full mech shoots fire and ice balls down, launching all players.

Another move set I absolutely love. I wish it was real since it sounds really fun to mess around with and can be a really challenging opponent to fight (seeing how hard a lvl 9 CPU Kazuya is, Zomboss would be a fun challenge). Keep it up!

I don't know what this character could be when it comes to "Stinkwad". Blaze is very unlikely for this hint.
@pyxal369 If it's a Sonic character it might be Mephiles the Dark from Sonic 06. He said it was a long and poorly designed game, and I wouldn't say Forces was poorly designed, and it was definitely not long. 06, however, was really long, and while the only issue with it that I encountered was the camera, a lot of people had a lot glitches happen when they played.

My concept for Zomboss' final smash:
Title: Huge horde of Zombies (cutscene fs)
Zomboss ducks while his zomboss smashes a van hitting up to 4 people. Zombies crowd the opponent taking bites from them dealing damage then soldier shoots a ZPG hitting the opponent leading into a MEGA Zombot PUNCH
Or: push a button, a portal appears and then appears every Zomboss mech in pvz2 and a bunch of zombies with special abilities, the Zomboss mechs crush the oponents and do their special abbilities and the zombies bite and do the special abilities, and then the ice age zomboss mech freezes the oponents

However, since Snartle Is already an S yo kai, His evolution doesn't make him necessarily stronger, but simply changes his playstyle, making him less precise because of his ability, which lets him only attack the yo kais that are infront of him, and making his Soultimate attack in a straight line. That nerf comes also with a groundbreaking 400+ atk and other extremely high stats

I love the idea of making Zomboss lay back and let his workers do the hard work. Great job on this one! Not much more to say tbh so... Recommendations.
My first request is Yuuki Makoto (otherwise also known as Arisato Minato or if we wanna be cynical, Door-kun) from Persona 3. I've already mentioned that I think Yuu from P4 could make for a good and unique character by incorporating his ability to use the wildcard, and while the same is true for Minato here I'd suggest making his actual party member friends a bigger part of his gameplay. So while Joker focuses on his and his persona's individual ability, Yuu could delve deeper into the games' strategic element of using different personas for different situations, while Minato could flesh out the bonds your character makes throughout your Persona journey. Which is quite ironic to be given to the character whose game sees the very toughest social gameplay and party members that cannot be controlled but of well. Maybe switch the concepts for Yuu and Minato I guess. Oh, and of course have FeMC aka Minako from Portable be an alt costume.
For request no. 2, let's go for Majima Goro from the Yakuza series. I've already said Kiryu could work nicely, but Majima might actually work even better! He has 4 *_very_* distinct styles as opposed to Kiryu's relatively similar ones. Maybe it could be that all of his normals and aerials are moves from Mad Dog, his specials are Sluggers, his smashes are Breaker, and his grab is Thug. Final Smash where he and Saejima do that thing from Like a Dragon, anyone? Or maybe it could be his QTE from Kiwami, and it's *actually* a QTE that the person hit by it has to fully succeed to get out of. Alts could be inspired by all the other Yakuza protags.

Nice! It'll be cool to see Dr. Zomboss & The Horde fight Crazy Dave on a PVZ themed map (maybe the house? Complete with its front yard, backyard with pool, and roof) if these were in the game!
Another cool feature I think would be neat would be that every time a Zomboss sends in a new zombie when you lose a stock, the alt would randomise. So even though you chose for example, the default Browncoat Alt, Zomboss may still send in your next zombie stock in the Mummy Alt, or the Pirate Alt, etc. Each stock is a different zombie, so it’d make sense if they’re all not wearing the same thing. If you do however want to keep playing as the same Alt, you can toggle this on and off.

I would say for the specials just to give the players in the match inticators if it’s zombies of the zombie doing the special maybe the zombie could be ready to throw the attack but have a radio in his pocket screaming in zombosses inaudible dialogue in the same time frame as the regular neutral attack with a indication above the zombies head like a exclamation point or question mark. Basically zomboss interrupts the zombie and steps in.

I love this character. PvZ has been a very important part of my childhood and I love the idea of Crazy Dave and Dr. Zomboss being in Smash. I would like it if you would attempt to make move sets for more of the Garden Warfare plants and zombies.
I like how with this the music is more of garden warfare music due to him being more in those games as a bigger source of moves due to those games higher diversity
I feel like a way you could make this character feel more like a horde is by adding 2 weaker zombies, similar to the ice climbers.

Possible Alt and Appearance Ideas:
Maybe the headgear could be matched to the alt it's used as (meaning the Egyptian one would have Egyptian buckets and cones). For the Soldier one, it could be a helmet for the cone (assuming it doesn't already have it when it starts the battle) and a pot for the bucket (referencing the plants you can pot in that game). This would be harder, but they could also make Zomboss have the boss from that era, with each PVZ2 alt having the head of the boss floating (Assuming the head for the normal Zombot is the basic). I haven't played PVZGW, so I can't think of anything for that one, but I'm sure there's something. The Zombot for the final smash would still be the same.
IF they wanted to go the absolute full mile, they could even edit the zombies summoned to the skins. Including the hands, Imps, and Gargantuars. GW alt would still have the same zombies.
Also since the new stock would be a new zombie, maybe instead of a spawning platform, Zomboss moves closer onscreen, opens the mouth of whatever boss it is, and have it open until the Player decides to spawn, making the zombie appear out of the mouth and Zomboss retreat back to the background.
For the marching victory screen, maybe it could have some Gargantuars mixed in with it, to instill more fear.
For a request, how about Don Chan from Taiko no Tatsujin? Or WALL-E?

In Paper Mario the TTYD, there is one scene where the insult "Stinkwads" is used.
Here's an idea! What if rabbids (or like the rabbids in Mario + rabbids Kingdom battle, like rabbid peach) were in smash?
Imagine the chaos that would be smash with each of these if [blank] was in smash bros.
I can only guess it's either Acheron the Everchosen, Wulfrik the Wanderer, or Khazrak One-Eye.
