@@jamesbelanger9077 being inside a garage I don't put it in. Outside stuff that's gonna move from frost I would. Like a sidewalk or driveway that's against a heated building. That will let it expand and contract.
Looking great as always Ron. When does your work season begin up there? Wouldn't you like a work vacation in NC around March. I need someone that knows what their doing to pour a foundation and basement slab!
@@bondobuilt386 I envy you on the snowmobile. When I lived in Alaska, you could ride safely from Dec thru March. From April on you had to be careful on the rivers and lakes.
Looks easy, haha. That detail stuff really makes the difference in the end, after all you get to live with it forever! I've seen where the boneheads sloped the entry inward to the door instead of to the outside, now that was a good idea! Never hire a drunk to pour concrete, haha.
What are you thoughts on this? Pouring a pole barn. Rebar & PEX @ 1.5' grid. Thinking of adding a 1" foam layer -- but sorta leaving a 1' gap or so between 4'x8' panels (so some of concrete on foam (for insulation) and a foot in between directly on compacted crushed rock layer. Is that a REAL BAD idea??? Anybody try this?
I have never poured a Garage with a trench drain in it !! Its either an 8x8 or no drain at all !! And I have poured a lot of garage floors !! And we always used a 2x4 for the 1 1/2 lip at the garage door ,,,very rarely did we not have a lip !
Incredible work. I wish I had the money to fly you and your crew in to do my garage
Another quality job by Bondo and his Boyz. Ronny, sorry I’ve been away. New eyes and a new hip. Ready for Bondo Summer Camp.
I miss pouring floors like that. Reminds me of Minnesota
What a pro. Thank you for documenting it so thoroughly.
I do enjoy watching a well oiled crew.
Thanks John just keep on watching buddy 👍😊

The trench drains work awesome. Much better than a square or round drain. Im sure the 2x4 works good at the door as well. Thanks.
Thanks for sharing👍
This a recent job.? I see T-shirt’s…-20 below here😏
No it was not a recent job. We got 2 feet of snow here. Lol 😂
Hey Bondo! Is your email address still valid?
