ABOUT BROOKLYN NINE-NINE
"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" follows the exploits of hilarious Det. Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) and his stoically ever-professional captain, Raymond Holt (Andre Braugher), along with their diverse, lovable colleagues as they police the NYPD's 99th Precinct. In this final season of the series, Jake and the squad must try to balance their personal lives and their professional lives over the course of a very difficult year.
Rounding out the ensemble is Sgt. Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumera), who has a passion for organization and a weakness for dork dancing; Lt. Terry Jeffords (Terry Crews), a mountain of a man whose most powerful muscle is his sweetheart; Jake's best friend and human puppy dog, Det. Charles Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio); and the incredibly secretive, tough-as-nails Rosa Diaz (Stephanie Beatriz). Also part of the Nine-Nine are veteran officers Det. Scully (Joel McKinnon Miller) and Det. Hitchcock (Dirk Blocker), whose only skill as police officers is their ability to make a passable pot of coffee.
Created by Emmy Award-winning writer/producers Dan Goor and Michael Schur, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" won the 2014 Golden Globe Awards for Best Television Series - Comedy or Musical and Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Comedy or Musical (Samberg). Emmy winner Braugher earned four Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as Capt. Holt.

Personally, I feel Jake's guitar screaming interrogation technique is legitimate. He just gives up too soon.
Would that count as psychological torture? I've heard stories of people being blasted with the same music on loop to prevent any ability to rest and to mess with their head.
@@hatientacetlen4246It would in fact count as torture when done over a prolonged period.
I love when he does that
Against the Geneva Code
@@workthecatwalkable Jake's interrogation technique is Good Cop, Gestapo
Jake tripping that hacker was one of the coolest scenes in the show.
I think it's a stunt double.
@@yakobsoulstorm5187 And? its still Jake the character. It still happened in the show. That's how tv shows work.
@@abysslight2490Wanted to say the same. You see it's a stunt double, but it's the same character
Agreed
@@abysslight2490 It kinda breaks my immersion a bit when it’s obvious.
Jake would be a nightmare if he wasn't a police detective. He is deceptively intelligent, and he gets bored easily. He would find creative ways to mess with people.
Jake is Doug Judy if he became a cop and Doug is Jake if he watched Oceans 8 instead of Die Hard
@@doctorjay8673
I see. You are absolutely right.
and i would have loved it.
he would be perfect for a prank show
He'd make an excellent anarchist.
"It's already in a patient's mouth... SON!"
As soon as he said that, he knew he lost. Genuinely one of the best episodes of the show, period.
Why is this even in the „underrated cases” video is beyond me.
I watched it so much Peacock won't let me download "The Box" anymorev😅
Absolutely! So satisfying
As a cyber security professional, I have never heard so much gibberish in all my life.
I work IT and know enough the guy was just putting random computer jargen together.
thats the entire point of that episode 😂😂
Well at least the arp and dns reference was almost in the same realm.
Beautiful
Nerds unite! OSI network lol
that little snort Holt does while laughing at the end. priceless.
RIP Velvet Thunder
🙌🏼
4:50 The way the take him down is just so satisfying
Especially the roll
first, distract the target, then, discombobulate
@@bruteboi73 😂😂
Not to take away from the scene, you can tell it’s a stunt double cause his hoods up and it magically comes down when it pans back to his face.
@@akailuna oh god! People use stunt doubles in movies and shows? :o whats next? Do you wanna tell me its all scripted and filmed several times? Are they not real cops solving real crimes?
1. Let's take a moment to not just appreciate the solve in 6.14, but also that takedown with Jake taking out Knox's legs.
2. The Box is the best episode.
I have watched the Box so many times that Peacock won't let me download the episode anymore...
Sterling aced it lmao
Holt spelling his name for Kevin is hilarious 😂
Can we take a second to recognize that epic role takedown that Jake did on Knox
Did they edit the hood up? Stunt double must have exposed too much of his face lol...
Notice the hoodie was all the way up and they jump cut. Andy is not athletic enough or too much of a diva to dive and roll 😂
@@Name-xf9du
Or he wasn’t confident launching his body weight directly at that guys knees without injuring anyone
Seeing Scott (Kid Cudi) in episode 7 always makes me chuckle.
“Well well well, if it isn’t joke peralta”
“THAT’S IT YOU’RE UNDER ARREST”
“….case closed?”
😂😂😂
Love him
That's Cudi?
@@jaredbarton6161 Yes
Jake is somehow always sleep deprived with every "unsolvable" case 😭😭
Because he can’t sleep until he solves it
Case 52ABX-32QJ will never get old.
the box is my favourite episode it's so interesting and such a satisfying end
And that's three "Oh Damns"
i agreee!!!!1 my absolute favorite
Agreed. But it doesn't fit in this video. It's not underrated. It's one of the most famous cases of B99.
24:29
I love how Holt spells his last name out for Kevin, despite the fact they've lived together for decades
"hes trying to plug the osi network into the data link"
as someone far too familiar with computers, this is like saying your going to plug a surge protector into itself
XD
I was looking for this comment xD I'm a system & network admin.
So you're telling me its possible?
Look.... you power your electronics your way and I'll not power mine my way.
Samwise Gamgee in the 99 was one of the best cameos
Rudy "The Goonie" Gamgee
What is.. Fomouth?
@@SunGawdRa FOMO: Fear Of Missing Out

@@SunGawdRaFOMOW = Fear Of Missing Out on Work
The ticking clock case is one of my favorite i really loves the scene where they catch the IT guy scully and hitchcock accidently sets fire to some food hold grabs the IT guys gun and jake rolls to make him fall
And Rosa
Jake Peralta, the Detective is ABSOLUTE GENIUS. When in the Pilot episode, Terry told Captain Holt that Jake is his best detective, he wasn't lying. Also! That takedown on Knox was legendary.
😏
22:33 “Oh man, just a squirrel?” the disappointment in Jake’s voice always gets me
😂😂😂
In the video for underrated case solves, they put the most popular case solve in the entire show at the end
That was my same thought, basically every one of these clips has been put on this channel a dozen times or more in other compilations.
Especially that last one. I completely forgot about the Oolong Slayer so that clip was really cool
I think that's an indication that the best cases are all properly appreciated 👍 Tell me, which cases would you have put on the list? Which solves do you consider have been under appreciated?
The perfect ending, with the perfect episode.
the box can never be properly appreciated. it will always be under appreciated
The way they took out the guy holding Holt Hostage was Dope AF
🔥🔥
I actually miss this show NGL.
Whoever is uploading these clips, Don't ever stop 🥺🥺
I'm assuming that you mean new episodes and such. But just in case, It's back on Netflix if you want a rewatch.
@@CircusJeanie2399 No, I'm not assuming new episodes. I know the series ended already
I get the feeling Hitchcock and Scully set the alarm off on purpose. No way microwave pros like them would burn something
well tbf they turned it up way higher than they usually would as they were running out of time on the lasagna in the oven. but yeah they don’t get enough credit
They have set the toaster on fire before though
"Hit me in the face... ooh that was a terrible suggestion!" 😅
I always love seeing Jake solve cases. For his childish behavior, he’s incredibly smart
he acts goofy but he is really a great detective.
Adhd depiction at it's best
The last one is honestly my favorite solve, Peralta’s monologue was amazing
I'd include as a great solve to figure out Holt is having a meltdown
48 hours case is my favourite episode where Peralta angers the squad by ruining their weekend plans while keeping a suspect in custody with insufficient evidence. I love the return of the skyfire episode interesting.
The way Jake lights up and gets excited like he just solved the hardest riddle known to mankind is always so adorable, genuinely he has one of the best attitudes to he a detective, because solving cases is a high he always wants to chase
Jake taking a laugh out of Holt responding "Kevin" after that "he needed us to know how smart he was" "just like someone I know" is priceless.
14:42 SEE YA IN JAIL WHITMAN w/ the walk off n slamming of the photos is genuinely the confidence i aspire to have
4:52 THAT ROLL
ik right, it so cool
When I see the scene inhave to watch it so many times just to understand how they take him down
Literally
The Nate Dexter one was a brilliant twist.
“The blacker the berry the sweeter the juice” gotta be my favorite line in the show 😭
I love how this show manages to be consistently hilarious while never undermining the professionalism of the squad. They're all really good at their jobs (Hitchcock and Scully were once lol).
They still are, they just don’t try anymore because they think they have worked their fair share of cases in the past.
24:32 I love how Captain Holt starts telling his own husband how to spell his surname.
God bless your soul, Andre Braugher! What a gem of a performance you gave us. RIP, fine sir. My eyes tear up seeing Jake/Holt's relationship grow into what it was. NINE NINE!
Honestly I appreciate the fact that because Stephanie Beatriz’s (Rosa) real voice is different enough from the character, and that she’s intentionally making it different-- that she basically did the same thing Christian Bale did as Batman in The Dark Night Trilogy 😂
I have never seen Rosa and Batman in the same room
@@yogitverma4730 ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️🫨😬😱😮 you’re right! Lol
4:51 Seeing the few moments where cast become serious cops and show their training is always sick
The squad working together quickly in 4:49 is such a thing of beauty
Friend , i just want to say thank you for still posting these videos. We really enjoy spending time here. NINE NINE!
Jake understanding holts facial expressions was the most underrated case
Well well well, if it isn’t JOKE Peralta!!
4:51 has to be my favourite move Jake has ever done
Tbh it’s probably my favourite take down because of how quick and clever yet simple and well executed it is
Jake’s ADHD brain joining the dots at the most last minute is classic ADHD
The box is one of my favourite episodes of any series I have ever watched.
Special shout out to the writers as well as every single actor and actress in that scene. The timing is 👌
RIP Andre Braugher. I am gonna miss seeing Capt Holt on shows...
I like how most of this is just Jake and Holt bonding as Father & Son
7:18 Jake finally learns about internal bleeding lmao
24:10 THIS!! This is my favorite B99 episode ever!
The squad not recognizing the hacker is like my friends not recognizing me after a haircut
Dude the "am i invited" by holt goes so hard 23:49
i can watch the highlights of this show for hours and not get tired of it lol
The Box is my favorite episode
same !!
Same 💯
Ticking clocks is really underrated, it was an episode full of intense moments with the enemy just under their noses
The lasagna subplot being basically the exact same situation but with really low stakes made it so much funnier
10:33 - 10:40 "Joke Peralta" was hilarious 😂😂😂😂
We love Amy in the thumbnail - definitely one of her best looks whenever she wore that blue shirt
"You've been free for far Oolong!"
id luv sum 😏
4:52 was one of the coolest things I’ve seen. 😎
"The Box" is not underrated. It is one of the best episodes in the series
If I was an actor and had to be in the same room as Samwise Gamgee, I wouldn't be able to stop myself from geeking out.
5:42 NO! DEXTER?! BOAT EXPLOSION?! 😱 THIS HAS TO BE INTENTIONAL 😂
LOL
jake’s roll to take down nox genuinely lives in my mind rent free
OK BUT THE TAKE DOWN AT 4:50 IS SO LIT
Case 52ABX-32QJ, they made me memorize it too😂
“Brave enough to tackle elf molestation” is still one of the wildest lines I’ve ever heard 😂😂😂
The last one was simply amazing and well written plot 👍
1:31 I only now caught the Hunger Games reference! 😂 Fantastic!
oooomgg
Can we all appreciate that tackle takedpwn on Knox for the hacker case from Jake, that was awesome
I love the IT blabber at the beginning. It doesn't really make sense but the writers must have at least opened a Wiki on computer networking. :D
Thanks for finishing up with The Box, a true gem that could slot seamlessly into any police procedural
4:51 Probably a stunt double but that tackle from Jake was BOSS!
The Box is the best episode. Pemberton vibes ✨
im glad the guitar+screaming is a reoccurring bit
4:52 Jake just became sonic the hedgehog😂😂😂
4:51 I love holt and jakes reaction.
I love the oolong slayer so much😂😂😂😂
When I was a high school principal, one day, I saw a student using a key to open the back of his master padlock for his locker. I thought that was weird so I pulled it into my office and asked him where he got one of the keys? He told me he made it. I found this to be interesting so I asked him how he did it and where he learned it. How I got him to be more cooperative was that I acted impressed by what he had done. It seems, he took great pride in being clever. So the more I fawn over his clever active making a key out of a blank, the more he spilled the beans. Exactly like this.
Terr Crews face at 6:16 is amazing lol
That thumbnail is uniquely attractive
Yes, more compilations like this please!
I just started this series in Netflix last week. This is my kind of comedy, laughs all day. I love it.
I love the Uncle from Always Sunny playing a lawyer here. No big hands in sight sadly lol
Alright, I'm gonna need to rewatch these episodes now
Nice video showing the investigation and solve
I guessed Knox before any of the details 😂 soon as he said DNS server
4:49 THE THING JAKE DID WAS SO SICK AND HE JUST DIDN'T POINT IT OUT???
Honestly. The thumbnail lured me in.
20:06 LMFAO RN LITERALLY HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT THIS
The OOlong slayer is 3x04 🙈❤
28:24 is so victorious I love it
11:57 NOBODY LOOK! NOBODY LOOK!
Always Sunny in Philadelphia 😂love it
and a perfect finish with a small laugh of Cpt. Holt 😅
I can’t but Brooklyn 99 is so good
The Box, is my favorite one!
11:44 iconic
7:27 watch Jake and Terry they swap places after a cut
Amy with glasses...🥵🥵🥵
❤❤
13:30 don't forget the cold weather
I finished watching all seasons of Dexter just yesterday! The second plot finally makes sense!
