Then fine tune cruise speed to get the best instantaneous mileage which is called the sweet spot of the engine . Driving in cruise at this speed will result in the best overall mileage. I have got a mileage of 19.5 on the highway over a distance of 350 Km by using this method. I own the 1.5 DSG, Monte Carlo.
