So I haven't tried the loving tan 2 hour express but the normal 8 hour one on ultra dark is the darkest tanner I have ever used other than getting a spray tan. Like blown away with the depth of the color, it's like 3 layers of fakebake flawless darker in 1 single coat!!! I've had it on for 5 days and it's just now starting to fade on me! You should email them about doing a review on it since you didn't like the other. I heard they are good about giving your money back :)
I was looking for tanning products and i was hesitating between loving tan and st topez. I'm definitely purchasing ST TROPEZ tanner.

Finally someone who agrees with me about Loving Tan!! It is sooo blotchy when it fades in like 2 days and it's impossible to scrub off. I think loving tan just sponsors so many youtubers and instagramers, that's why everyone raves about it
Btw it's not only the 2 hour express one, the 8 hour one is exactly the same

yes thank u for making this vid & actually being HONEST bout loving tan!! I saw all the hype & had to try!! I LOVE the color and feel like it lasts well but omg girl the fade!! I had the same exact experience and I do moisturize so it's not that!! ugh it makes me mad cuz Its good besides that and it's so expensive..I jus ordered the small size of st Tropez it's gunna be here tomorrow so I'm excited but thanks again. I love the loving tan self tanner! But I do agree, I don't like how it fades. I have the two hour express but I keep it on over night lol

If i dont have the self tanning applicator that ur using what can i use? Can i use regular gloves ?
I have the st. Tropez one and u said it fades fast.. When it does, to re apply it should I exfoliate again?
And one more thing. when u put ur makeup after self tanning do u use a foundation ? cz ur skin looks flawless ❤️

I also tried the loving tan mousse in dark but I did not like to at all. It is not bad, but for that price it doesnot last you very long and I did notlike the color. Personally, I use st. Moriz in dark all the time and get so many compliments. It does notget patchy and lasts you a good week!
i use the st tropez in ultra dark and i have a lot of trouble matching my foundation with the tanner because its so green . i love the color but ive tried sooo many different foundations and they all seem to be too warm . any recommendations or advice ?
kennedi shea I know what you mean! The initial tan is very green but after I shower the color usually matches most of my foundations that are darker.
kennedi shea after applying self tanner ( I use Bondi sand) to ur body, use what's left on your glove for ur face.
I don't wear makeup at all.
I use shimmer on my face. Only put it over ur brows, across your cheek , noses to other cheek, lips and chin only.
Excaly how you see the owner of the vid... see her face highlighted? Like that. Put on face how you see it on her face ... but don't join the sections. Keep all separate otherwise it looks weird

HELP! Every time i apply makeup with a tan when i take off my makeup my tan is completely gone and i have no idea how to help or fix that because i dont like always having to apply tanner to my face
Jergans is great. I haven't had a problem with it along with a lot of other people. It can work for some people.

Loving tan gives you great color at first but it does fade terribly. I bought the regular 8 hr one.

What kind of mitt do you use when applying your tan? Also I use the loving tan original extra dark and I love it! It works so much better than the 2 hour express!
Thats good to know thank you! I just use any regular mitt, I like the ulta brand one and the st. trooper one! I've liked everyone of used besides the one from loving tan!

Should I put lotion on after I rinse my tan off???
Whitney Edwards yes! Lotion will help the tanner last longer keep your skin nice and hydrated but use a water based lotion not oil based

Yess another self tanning junkie lol I've tried these all aswell. I just ordered Loving Tan because of the hype i hope it's good lol! Two of my favourites are Fakebake flawless darker and Tan Wise and you can find them on Amazon in case you wanna try something new :)

what foundation shades do you use for loving tan? (e.g Mac, Estee lauder, Nars)
I'm sorry I don't understand what you're asking. For MAC foundation I use NC30 but for loving tan I used the darkest one, I hope that helped!

Hi! I love your videos! I just have a couple questions about the Beautisol tanner. How long does the tan last and how long does the entire bottle last you? I use Loving Tan right now, and it's great, the color is amazing - the problem I'm having is that it only lasts around three days. I'm almost done with the bottle I have right now so I'm interested in switching to Beautisol.
Thank you! The tan lasts me about a full week! This is my first bottle but I have had it for about 4 months and its not used up yet!
Awesome! Also, does the tan come off easily? I dance a lot so I'm constantly doing lifts and partnerwork, so I need to know if the tan is strong so that it won't come off if someone scratches me etc.
I just tried out tanceuticals ultra dark lotion and on the 7th day I tried to take it off for a reapplication. Soaked in a bath and exfoliated with a rough loofa mitt & sugar but it took so long and so much strength to try and get it off evenly.. I can't imagine taking that much time every week! do you just apply your self tanner over the spots that did come off and didn't? Wouldn't it turn out blotchy? 😭
Sarah Rose I never have much trouble getting this off but everyone's skin is different ! I wouldn't recommend just applying it in the spots that faded because it would turn out blotchy. When mine would fade if would all fade at once though I wouldn't have random spots that would fade before others. With self tanners it's kinda trial and error since everyone's skin is different!

Which product have you found to last the longest without fading? Have you tried Bondi Sands?
Megan Ballou I have not tried that! I have found that they all fade about the same amount of time!
I've got it on now. It's awesome. the Bondi mitt blends tan in well also fades Nicely... hardly no smell and no streaking.
Also I saw a girl on TH-cam I'm using s blush stick to put on her self tanner. It really works.
Very good review video for self tanners! ☺ I think I will try the beautisol that you talked about! I hadn't heard of that one. I currently use Vita Liberata Phenomenal bronzing mousse. I like it the best. Dries fast, doesn't stink, last long and fades naturally looking. I recently tried the Tanwise from Sally's and although it gave a nice olive toned dark tan.. hated it. 😞 It was sticky and fades very patchy!

How do you approach applying near the underarms?
I apply it as normal and for the armpit area ill just pat any of the excess that is left over on the mit!
Do you always use a self tanner on your face as well? Or do you just buy a darker foundation?

The problem when you don't put tanner on ur face and just wear makeup... when u have a shower wash ur face ect... you have white face brown body
I'm not sure if you've heard of this one yet, but you should definately try the brand Fake Bake. I've used a lot of self tanners before, and this brand is by far my favourite. I apply it before I go to bed and i've never had a problem with it transferring to my sheets (mine are white aswell)! It also has great staying power, fades beautifully, and has a nice smell to it. I'm on my 5th bottle of it (I usually apply twice a week and a bottle lasts me quite awhile). I also get a lot of comments on it because it is such a rich tan colour. The only thing is you have to order it online I think, but it's not too expensive:)

Brittany Wetzel I just recommend making sure your skin is well moisturized! You could use something like jergens gradual tanner if you want to be darker while it fades, but if I feel like I'm not dark enough I'll exfoliate and re apply!
You should check out hemp bronzing moisturizer! Use that every night. It's only $6 at Walmart

You did such a great job with this video it's so helpful. Would you consider doing review on more natural tanners like Loving Tan (Eco Tan, Skinny Tan, True Natural etc.), and your opinion on Vta Liberata tanner which claims to stay for 2-3 weeks. For me the most important thing is that it fades great, and ofc that stay as long as posible, also I'm always not sure when to reaplay should i wait the until previous coat wash off completely or It's ok to do a new coat with old one still visible cos i remember when I did selftaners when I did multiple layers it started to pell splotchy. Do you still spray perfume? Becuz u said it wil break apart i always use perfume and i want to selftan but i dont want det to happen😭 do i spray it on my hair then or something?

Love Tanceuticals !!! It's the ONLY one that doesn't smell or turn me orange. The biggest mistake that everyone makes is that they think they need to apply a ton of self tanner- which in my opinion screams self tanner. . A soft glow is much better and you won't look like an oompah loompa!
If you had to choose one to recommend that makes you the darkest... the tanning beds being closed is killing me
