    I’ve watched SOOO many self tanning videos and this was the most informative. This and Jaclyn Hill were the top for me. Hers only because it showed the process but having seen that once I get that part so tired of seeing process over and over tbh. I just needed more info and you delivered! You’re the only person who mentioned layering...thank you! After trying St Tropez express mousse and leaving it on for the night I still woke up and was like “is this it?!” So after seeing this I put on another coat from my trunk down and inside part of my arms and totally perfect! Yay! Forget you spray booth!!! Plus, now I know I can try the powder for creases. This video had the most thorough explanation I’ve seen with great tips. I’ll try the no oil moisturizer now too although the alba seems spendy for what you get. The speed you deliver the information is perfect. The pace on other videos kills me! Why do some people talk so slow and ramble off topic?! I’m usually like “T-t-t-today Junior!” during other videos and end up just clicking off. Overall great video with loads of tips so thank you!

    Thanks so much; especially for the baby powder tip! Everyone is all about “Loving Tan,” but that stuff is now $60 A BOTTLE! 😳 Glad there are other options. You’ve gotten yourself another new subscriber in me, too! 😘

    • @ShawnaHill83
      @ShawnaHill83 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I noticed that too! I think it could be really good BUT! Normally when everyone especially big channels rant on about a specific product (most times around the same time or months apart) they are sponsored but don't really mention it 🤔🙄

    • @beck3522
      @beck3522 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I did see Loving Tan at Ulta for $40, so maybe $60 was an old price on their website or something. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Since we don’t know who’s sponsored and who’s not unless they mention it, it’s nice to watch a lot of videos from all different kinds of people. I feel like I’m getting a more realistic review that way. 🧡

    Tree hut and coconut lime seems to come with more products in that scent. They also have the Shea Butter and shower gel also in a travel kit! The Moroccan Rose was a disappointment because our Walmart and Amazon had only the Shea butter...and then they were getting a more profitable line for themselves. Walmart is not a guarantee for some items. They discontinue my faves...fast! Thanks for all of the info..and doing it upward strokes...didn’t know that I am 50! oh my gosh. Great job young lady. • @shylas100
    @shylas100 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Tree hut exfoliators don't usually have oils in them the ones that do are like the Shea moisture, some of the soap and glory ones, some of the lush ones as well and the lalicious ones do, but tree hut is fairly inexpensive so they wouldn't add oils in them making them pricier. And yeah I do the whole tan layering as well. I apply one layer one night and a layer the very next night. I wouldn't recommend layering unless it's the very next day if you wait more than one day it's when you can't start to get streaking and patchy issues. I also know that people do self tan layering on the very same night but I've tried that before and it's always turned out a streaky and sticky mess and it's 100% uncomfortable to sleep in because you can stay sticky almost all night. So I always do the second day layering. I thought I was the only weirdo that did that but it seriously does amplify your tan a few extra shades.

    Love the baby powder tips. I'm also very fair skinned so any little crease shows on my skin. Also it is hard for me to find sunless tanner that doesn't make me orange with my pale skin. However I have a tip about the moisturizers, it is hard to find one without an oil.. I use Nivea with almond oil and just barely use it and it stills blends really well. So if you can't find moisturizers without oil... At least the Nivea still allows the color to absorb. 😊 love the video. Thank you

    Also, I saw another girls video and she mentioned not doing her under arms due to staining. My guess she was not exfoliating the deodorant build up. Just something I felt worth mentioning. Keep the videos coming! ☺

    • @cassie274
      @cassie274  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would make sure you're moisturizing those areas really well in preparation for self tanning.. I personally put lotion after every shower and that helps a lot to prevent the skin from getting so dry that it's hard to get it moisturized. I also use less product in those areas just because they so tend to be more dry than the rest of my body so that might help!!

    Did you get more of a tan I’m super white and I had to religiously stay in the sun to tan barely.
    I ended up with skin cancer in places removed because I was exposed more they said was hands chest and knees.
    So I am tired of being pale time to tan with fake tan..

    • @cassie274

      +Attila709 no but I've heard good things as well. I just refuse to spend that much more money when there is the cheaper alternative lol. if you try it out let me know what you think 😊

      Ok thanks. Why don't you self tan your face. That's something I would definitely want to do. I'm seeing smaller mittens just for that use.

      +Attila709 I am on prescription creams for my acne so figured the self tanner would fade so fast that it wouldn't be worth it

    This is probably a stupid question but I’ve never self tanned before.after you apply your tanner before you go to sleep, and it dries a little, can you put clothes on or do have to like sleep naked? I imagine loose clothes are fine ? I know that you would have to sleep on a towel but I’m a teenager and I still live with my family and I don’t wanna sleep without any clothes on yenno 💀

    I did not have a good experience with this self tanner, the palm of my hands remained very dark ... I tried immediately after the application to wash well, but there was nothing more to do ... and the smell 😭... the color does not seem very natural and the application is very muddy! I do not recommend it sincerely!

    Did you do the whole foot? I’m worried about the cuticles on the toes and fingers.

    • @cassie274
      @cassie274  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I always go slightly underneath my foot so there are no visible harsh lines, as well as in between my toes. I try to avoid putting it directly on my toenails but I've never noticed any staining of my cuticles. I also do spread the Tanner between my fingers and down to my fingernails, trying to avoid my actual fingernails, but again I've never noticed it tanning my cuticles 😊 no idea if that made sense, but hope it helps lol

    • @cassie274
      @cassie274  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tracymcgrath1192 I totally should have mentioned this but I never do the palms of my hands! I go slightly beyond the wrist just so there's not a harsh line and then do the top part of my hand and fingers! I hear you with the dry hands from hand washing and sanitizing though girl!!! I end up with white hands and tan arms after a couple days but it is what it is 😂

    • @cassie274
      @cassie274  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tracymcgrath1192 I've also accepted that my tan will never be perfect lol after self tanning so many times I have become a little lazy or less meticulous with it 😂 and that is okay 😊

    • @cassie274
      @cassie274  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I apologise for the delay in responding! Yes it lasts about a week! It definitely fades, but I self tanned last Friday and it lasted until my shower today! And I work out 6 days a wk and shower daily. I typically will avoid using my loofa or anything exfoliating when I wash my body until the tan is gone (just use my hands) and I lightly dab (vs rubbing) with my towel when I get out of the shower. I also avoid any lotion unless I absolutely need it! If you do all of that, your color will last and should fade nicely!

      mine looks it's best for about 3 days!! even with showering every day (but I do not like scrub my skin, I usually just wash my body with my hands to avoid scrubbing the tan off!) after a week I will exfoliate really well to take it off because by then you may look patchy in places

      Hi I do spray tans (on other people) my advice to help you tan last longer is to use a fragrance free moisturizer as soon as you wash off the tanner and everyday after. Also use a gentle washcloth and don’t take hot baths or showers
