For one reason or another, compact SUV buyers simply can’t have their cake and eat it, but with the Volkswagen Tiguan they can certainly have a cheeky nibble. What we really mean is that compact SUV’s and Crossovers tend to come with a wealth of compromises. ...
I must say this is easily the best review of the Tiguan I've seen to date. Clear, consise and factual! We'll be ordering mine soon. I hope the VW salesperson is as good as him otherwise they should employ him ;)

This is without doubt the best in-depth Tiguan review I have seen to date. Now in September 2018 petrols are dominating the market, with hybrid and fully electric cars soon to be the cost-effective product of choice...The Australian release 162TSI R-Line spec. Tiguan, complete with the premium DynAudio sound system, is a magnificent machine, both to drive and discern ....those German designers and engineers are difficult to match....
I have already ordered a Tiguan SWB SE Nav 2.0 TDI 2WD 150PS 7-Speed DSG This review backs up my choice 100%The review is the best review I have ever had the pleasure to watch( As a car nut )AND I HAVE WATCHED 100s It knocks every other car review out the water . I will be a subscriber to this guys channel many many thanks . I will post the link to this review on our VW forum . Once again thankyou
Have you received your Tiggy as yet?
Just bought the highline version here in India and I must say it is great car to drive and has loads of features and space.
This is the best review of this car by far. No humour but exquisite detail.I ordered one. The 2-3 months factory order lead time suggested by the dealer is now up to 7 months. Note that on petrol engines the most practical 1.4 150PS is no longer available. The 125PS 1.4 remaining sounded underpowered for full load. This forced me to get the 2.0 TSI which is a fuel guzzler and also 4WD that would probably see some use but wasn't high on my shopping list.
Love the long form review. Most don't go this detailed. Subscribed to you channel just do to this Tiguan video!
Review is really top of the line, you told us more then everything about the car and you are very, very professional.
Thank you very much!
Without doubt the best car review I’ve seen since the days of William Woollard (original Top Gear presenter) great detail and done in a professional yet humorous manner.
Hi Robert! Thank You for watching our video and for the amazing feedback 🙂

@@rivervalegroup- Have found that the gas door lid has sticking issue with Actuator not responding to the push in on the lid to open the lid once the key fob is activated to unlock the doors?
superb review, easily the best online. I bought the 2.0 4 motion in July, wholeheartedly agree with all your comments. Thanks

Best review of this car I've seen, ....and I've seen a few !
Thanks Kevin, It's great to hear good feedback!
So 8 years later. My Tiguan TDI 4motion has been the perfect SUV for me. I use it on gravel roads, haul a caravan, do long drives (7-9 hours), and use it in the city. No problems.
Now - VW will not sell the new version in Norway. What a shame.
Excellent review. Extremely thorough and detailed. Updating it soon perhaps? Keep up the fabulous work!
Thank you for the great feedback Mike 👍
what a long review, but very good indepth review. Covered every point of view.
Amazing review! Love all the details. People... get your popcorn!
Nice review. Already ordered a Tiguan Higline.
An excellent presentation, one of the very best I’ve seen.
Excellent review;probably the best and most unbiased I have watched. I agree wholeheartedly with most of the comments, but I stayed away from the diesel option, purchasing the TSI 180 variant, due to the stigma against diesel emissions now rife. I haven’t had the car long, but agree, it is definitely a real class leader.
Just done the drive on the Snake Pass M1 to M6 and the Tiguan Handel’s in its stride. Handles nice but never push it or it will become skittish. Has become more economical since it’s fist service and it’s 18months old has 12k miles. So far it’s improved since the day I got it and isn’t as stiff as everything has settled in. If I buy a Tiggy get one with 30k plus miles and it will be a good choice for families. It’s not as comfortable especially in the back seats as Simone commented there Audi A3 is more comfortable and quieter
I'm getting my 150 TSI DSG 4Motion in a couple off weeks, can't wait!
DId you get it?
@@pauloketch4635 I actually didn't, there was a problem with delivery and I opted for another car instead.
Excellent detailed review . Presenter does a great job of conveying a lot of detail across an hour of documentary. Is he using an autocue?
seriously good review
The adaptive cruise control is standard on the SE versions as well, not just from the SEL
Matthew Tarnopolski hmmm not on my 2019 SE
Great review, very informative but can't help but feel it covered the diesels better than the petrol variants. I find that the 1.4 TSI DSG 150 is the pick of the range.
Getting my R-Line Thursday! While I agree about the hard plastics lower down, it also usually means they are the contact point for muddy wet shoes and so easier to clean. So as long as they dont creep up into places where you hands go, I'll give VW and other manufacturers a pass on this given the class of vehicle. Great review.
Simply outstanding. I’m looking to purchase a Tiguan and this is by a country mile the best, most comprehensive review I’ve seen for any car, and I’ve seen hundreds. I think the highest compliment I can pay is that I watched the whole sixty minutes which was informative and exhaustively detailed. So refreshing to see a reviewer who is articulate and actually reviews the vehicle rather than using it as an opportunity to showcase their second rate comedic talents. Subscribed.
Hi Mark Roberston! Wow Thank you for such positive feedback and for watching the full review, we very much appreciate it 😀

absolutely amazing review. informative *and* entertaining
- schedule a viewing; you won’t be dissapointed
Really good, comprehensive review. Interesting to watch this now given the impact of dieselgate, improved understanding of the drawbacks of diesel and thus the rapid swing in attitudes and ownership penalties associated with diesel (especially in and around London). Having just bought an early 2017 petrol Tiguan the dealer admitted that, with the way the market now sits, he finds it almost impossible to source used petrol models while they have unsold diesels coming out of their ears.
Thanks for the feedback OurDave 🙏 the change in demand for diesels has hugely swung... bet you are happy you went for the petrol variant👍
Excelente review! This is the kind of review that really shows the differences between brands.
Thank you! We are glad you like our reviews. If you have any questions please feel free to get in touch.
Amazingly detailed review. Excellent!
Great review, I’m gonna order the TDi 4motion 190bhp SEL.... can’t wait 😊
That's a Beautiful Cathedral at 5:04
Just bought a UK 2019 Tiguan Match 1.5 Petrol. Very happy, but does not have LED lights which is a shame
Getting my 2.0 TDI 2020 next week
We hope you enjoy your new car, Sevir 😁
Love my polkswagen tiguan 2021.
Superb review....superb car.....
excellent review, most detailed one online.
Sir i don,t understand why people by Diesel engine more rough petrol far more smoother no grunting noise if one buys a Tiquan then rather by petrol fuel consumption even better
Thanks very much for sharing!

Lots of facts and figures but what's it like to drive? Is it quiet, feel luxurious?etc
excellent review
Indepth analysis, Thanks
Would you buy a second hand 2017 diesel 2 litre 115bhp with 40k miles in top spec and sunroof. I don’t need awd. Ireland still have sales for diesel on our country roads.
You want at least the 150bhp
Amazing Car 👏👏👏👏😎
What's the 5 year depreciation valuation on these? I noticed the 2016s being traded in

I have the same colour Atlantic blue, really dull and only see metallic in strong sun light. It shows dirt and dust, even more than black. Go for white, grey, caribean blue looks really good. Champaign is really nice. The lighter colours hide dirt better. The Atlantic blue is dull. Parallel I hate the drive, uncomfortable. Not economical. Wish I went for pug 3008
Thanks for the feedback Hardip 👍 great to hear from owners 👌
Your welcome
Alexander is my son. UPDATE 30/11/19 my Tiguan has 11k miles and is 1year 8month old and has become more comfortable as it’s softened up from speed bumps and the hard tyres also run in. It’s a comfortable cruiser now if I keep it at 60/70 mph and it’s not bad around 56mpg.
Please give price
Hi Spencer, our team will be happy to help you find this vehicle for a great price. Get in touch: www.osv.ltd.uk/hello-youtube/
Oh stop it! that car is making me blush! i am married you know! dreamy

seriously diesel is dead
Hi James!
Diesel car sales are definitely decreasing rapidly as buyers are more conscious about being
'greener' and the tax diesel drivers may have to pay in the future.
Are you a petrol drive? or are you already embracing the electric future?
I'm considering my next car at present. So called hi end electric cars such as Teslas build quality is still in its infancy.
Hi James. Have you happened to see the new Jaguar I-Pace? We have just uploaded a video previewing the new release, check it out here: goo.gl/gPx6Gr
