Personal experience with Tiguan 2.0 150 hp 2017. I have driven about 2300 kilometers in the last 5 days. On the highway, I drove at an average speed of about 130 kilometers per hour. The average consumption was 5.5 liters per 100 kilometers. I am satisfied with every segment of this vehicle, especially the driving characteristics and low fuel consumption...
Yes I agree with you Liam that’s why I bought the R Line with 20” wheels panoramic sunroof 2ltr 150 TDI Diesel , Auto clutch, All Leather seats, etc, it’s a head turner 3 years on without looking dated, and Flash”.
Great review James. Think the Ateca would be for me but what do you think about the 1.0 litre TSI in the Ateca for mostly sub 50mph motoring? Is it enough? Happy New Year :-)
Thanks Andrew - and yourself. 1.0 TSI Ateca is certainly punchy enough once you get going, but can feel a little sluggish at low revs. Not bad for such a small engine in a relatively big car, though.
Thank you for the review. Didn't know this model has been around for so long..! My favourite part has to be 8:15 showing 'mother-of-pear...........L' :D:D:D
That folding front passenger seat is a useful feature... Wish more cars had that!

Good review.
Are you sure about DCC as standard on higher trims? Still seems to be listed as a cost option on the VW site!
Indeed , I believe it’s only standard if you choose the bi turbo 240ps engine
Great review thanks
Best suv on the market.

@@ParkersTV Many thanks :-)
@@ParkersTV- Does the 2021 Tiguan SE use regular 87 octane fuel? I keep hearing the word diesel.
It’s 2020 and halogen headlights should be illegal...
hell no--they are they best for high beams-i live in a very rural area with lots of wildlife around and they save me and them
Halogen lights r a lot cheaper to make and repair as the vehicle gets older 👍

It make happy moment for me.
I'd rather buy a Citroën C5 Aircross which is much more refined and comfortabele.
Sadly that is a Citroen though 😭
More refined and comfortable? LOL
why does it look sooooo boring
