I was surprised about the size of the suprim too! Barely fits in 12 GPU frame, and only the lower part with the fan fitted outside.
Yeah it doesn't really fit in the Veddah frame. I actually had to take the fans and mount them on the outside of the extrusion. I have some pics posted in the rig pic section of our discord
damn, that's a long boy. really wish you would done a gaming load 4k sound test with the fans though.
Hey there, we try not to do that type of testing because it's extremely subjective. We can give a range on comparison but not loaded temperature tests because your ambient temperature and other things matter a lot.
For dual card configs, the smaller one is better. The third fan cools the heat sink! Too bad you didn't do some benchmarks.

You guys in North America should really ditch all these out-dated "inches", "feet", "ounces" and all these other weird stuff. International measurements make so much more sense in today world :p

Nice Tek! The suprim looks so nice. How's the power consumption on it compared to Ventus?
Thanks buddy, the power consumption is relatively the same I mean the chip is basically the same thing. But the power limit is higher on the supreme x
@@TekShinji guessing with that monster heatsink, it should stay cooler too once you start mining on it.
Oh yeah it stays nice and cool for sure! Fans are only at 35% and temps never get above 50.

I got a suprim x 3070 1 year used but in mint condition and never opened, so I have to worry about changing thermal pads or anything, I’m nervous about memory temps and was thinking does gddr6 run hot enough in gaming to be worth changing pads?

@@TekShinji not that I know of😂, I just learnt how to undervolt today which helps temps so I guess no need yet

@@TekShinji yeah, the Suprim X is the one I bought and I really believe now that it is really that massive. It dwarfs my current gpu, Zotac GTX 1050 Ti.
Yeah, I think it's one of the longest and biggest GPUs in this generation

Depends on which one you get. Do you know how to tell?
@@TekShinji unfortunately I don’t, i didn’t find any thing on the box that indicates it is an LHR
If that is the case, you'll have to check with a manufacturer. It's supposed to say on the box that it's LHR. If it doesn't it's probably non-LHR but always be sure because they're pretty sneaky about it

Well I can tell you the design is very good. I don't think the card ever thermal throttled like for any reason under any conditions. But then again it's at the cost of a cooler that's the most biggest I've ever seen. Performance wise all chipsets are within like 10 to 15% of each other at the most. With a real world a difference of maybe 5%. The biggest difference is in the cooling which allows for a higher power limit which allows for slightly more performance

Oh I would go for the suprim for sure. If you can afford it for a reasonable price, and if it's in your case then 100% for sure. I believe personally it's a much better card
The Suprim definitely took a lot of time on their design from the backplate to the comic book user manual. Almost looked like a 3090 for a second because of the size lol
Exactly, this thing's humongous. I feel like they just cookie-cutter the cooler for all three models. You can usually tell because the 3090 and 3080 has three eight-pin power connections

2 8 pin PCIs, well i only have 1 6 pin with 2 next to it so now what now?
Do you mean PCIe power connections? And what do you mean one six-pin with two next to it? Do you mean you have three six pin PCIe power connections?
@@TekShinji well i have a vga cord that has 6 pins and 2 tied next to it, i lost my power supply box because i was a ignorant 18 year old that dint think i’d need the extra cords later. now i’m 26 and i realized it was a big mistake. i ordered a cord for it but i hope it’s the right one otherwise i will have to just say screw it and buy another power supply to avoid the headache.

Best Buy sent me the 3070 ventus 3x v2.0. At near double the price of my 3070FE it is a rip off. same 220w locked.
My MSI was shrink wrapped. My gigabyte 3070 did not have seal on box. I spoke to gigabyte corporate and they said they do not put seal on the box but on the static bag.
Yeah that's what it seemed. I was quite surprised when I got it!

Yea it's got some extreme girth! Lot of people might have to buy a new case just to put it in their computer
