    That's an interesting way of increasing. I haven't seen it before. I usually see the M1R/M1L way of doing increases, or a yarn over. I may have to try this at some point, and see how it feels to me.

    thanks for great instructions! i am new to sock knitting - haven't yet even started, just learning. i am wondering if your use of two circular neddles together is an alternate and perhaps simpler way of doing the magic loop? also i don't think i caught what length each of your circular needles is - are they 9 inch? Thanks much.

      Hi I am glad you are learning some new techniques here. The two circular needles are an alternative to magic loop for sure. I find them a lot easier than the one set of needles. They are 2.25mm with a 40cm cable. 9" circulars are an option but I find them a bit too small. They are for knitting continuously in the round and are usually used on their own as one set.
