Videos like this shows how amazing this game is. 8 years since it’s release and people are still coming up with great theories around this masterpiece.
Love the theory but could use a bit of tweaking. I don’t think scarecrow would want a wild card like Zsasz out ruining the pace of his plans. I would say the bribe was actually to kill him. Make it look like a failure with the helicopter. As for the side quest: Batman would, like you suggested, find victims around the city posed. The commonality between them was the use of props. The one we can find uses a fishing pole. The props can be traced back to the movie studios. That’s how Batman would track him. In the boss encounter, it’s stealth like before. You sneak your way up and choke him out.
Excellent detective work to everyone involved here. Bruce would be proud. It's wild that think that Rocksteady ended up getting that far in development for a side mission just to cut it at the last possible second. And it's even wilder to think that they could have included it in the Season of Infamy DLC later and didn't. I suppose they could claim “we couldn’t really think of a neat new way for you to combat Zsasz in Knight that wasn’t derivative of how you battled him in earlier games.” But I mean…you literally glide kick him and bop him with a batarang in Asylum. He’s a tutorial boss twice in that game. And in City, he’s a puzzle room that ends with a “Press Triangle to Fuck Zsasz Up”. They didn’t need to design much for a boss fight. Honestly, if they had just designed a room filled with hostages for Zsasz to kill and the confrontation was all done in a tense cutscene that ended with a Batclaw Disarm and a Beatdown, I’d have been happy.
Can you imagine if they kept him in the main game and Zsasz was locked up in that same cell with Simon Stagg and that Fire Chief? That would be the most awkward/uncomfortable cell to be locked in, those two relatively normal guys in there with Scarecrow, Firefly, Pyg, Riddler, Azrael, Deathstroke, Two-Face. Penguin AND Zsasz?! Oh and the potential commentary from the Joker on Zsasz being locked up too.
@@tonts5329 “See, Bats? The lunatic has a point! Why waste your time fighting for these idiots when I’ll eventually take over and kill them all anyway? Let go! Get crazy! Let Uncle J come out to play.” The guys at Rocksteady could do it better, but that’s how I imagine the situation would play out.

I wish developers would let the public see unreleased ideas. Anytime I see art or concepts of ideas that never make it to the full game (like the giant clayface drawing in B:AK) I always wonder what if, and what their idea at the time was.
Speaking of that concept art... in the same art book it was apart of (AK Collector's Edition) we can see a Jokerized Gordon on one of the television screens.
As a massive Prometheus fanboy, I really wish we could see everything they had planned for him for the Arkham Knight "Season of Infamy" DLC (he was likely replaced by Mad Hatter, who we know was originally supposed to be in the main game since the other bat-rogues have unused dialogues with him when they're all locked up)...
@@randallflagg3700 My guess is he was supposed to have a similar "find kidnapped police" mission. Since both Zsasz & Pyg's missions revolved around finding clues via crime scene victims... so they seemingly cut Zsasz due to the missions being too similar and overall one was "superior" in how it played how.
@@honoramongscars649 - Indeed, it's pretty much an open secret that the Mad Hatter kidnapping police officers was pretty much a reskin of Prometheus' original mission. It's a selfish wish of mine since, as I said, despite the character's flaws I love Prometheus. I really wish that the one we got in season 5 of *Arrow* was more like his early designs, when he actually looked like his comic book counterpart, and had his trademark helmet... ... but hey, the one we ended up getting is a consensus top 3 Arrowverse Big Bad (alongside Reverse Flash and Deathstroke, and close behind them there's Lex Luthor and Zoom) so not all of it is negative. I just want Prometheus to get another chance to shine, his (pretty damn good) feud with *Midnighter* was in 2016 and lasted maybe 10 issues... then *Arrow* season 5 was in 2016/2017.... After that he got exactly *one* quality arc in which he was the Big Bad, in the 2018 JSA storyline called *"Surgical Strike"* , it was only 4 issues long but I loved it. After that, Prometheus was mainly used as a right-hand man for Deathstroke, instead of being his own man. I believe that being in that Arkham Knight DLC would have been a great way to introduce him to casual DC fans. Oh well, maybe one day? After all I used to think that Vigilante (Adrian Chase) would never appeal to the casuals, and the show *Peacemaker* made him extremely popular! Before that he had a great live action adaptation in *Arrow* seasons 5&6, but sadly that didn't seem to gain him a lot of hardcore fans, since there were so many cool characters introduced in this really good season.
It would be really cool if games started including "Cut Content" menus that allow us to see concept art, models, voice lines, etc. relating to content that didn't make it into the full game, and some dev thoughts/comments regarding what they were intending the content for and why it didn't make it into the final game. Such a thing could make for a really cool unlockable for finishing the main storyline, and it would help to ensure that whatever work they put into that specific content at least doesn't go entirely to waste.
Something I would like to add is according to some background info on Victor(something I found in the wiki) he's been cutting vital areas of his body too deeply causing damage to himself so maybe that's why he was checked into the hospital.
That actually makes complete sense, I was like how tf did he check himself in & no one noticed, but the PD bringing him there out of necessity is way more coherent
@@LN031 plus it makes sense as unlike other villains like Penguin and Two-Face who used legal means to get out of prison after Arkham City Victor's clear mental illness and obsession with murder likely made it impossible for him to be released which is why he's still in chains after Arkham city. So it was likely that after Bruce caught him he never got finical compensation and freedom like the other villains.
1. I think it’s a shame we didn’t get a final confrontation with Zsasz or Bane. 2. After being unmasked, I can hear Zsasz saying something about now needing to put two marks on his body - one for Batman and one for Bruce Wayne.
Whilst I agree and I love bane, we do get a city story which claims he returned to his home for soul-searching and eventually became a violent vigilante against the drug Lords ruining his home town. Nice closure for him
I have been wondering what the purpose of that empty room was for so long. This theory actually makes a ton of sense. I always just assumed that the crashed helicopter was there to add atmosphere but now that you mention it, it absolutely looks like a half finished crime scene.
Victor Zsasz has always been an interesting villain to me. A true sociopath with no remorse at all, and the tally marks on his body. Cold Call Killer from Arkham City was masterfully done, and I really wish we got something with Zsasz in Knight too.
zsasz is one of my fave Batman villains, so it's finally nice to know what his side mission would have looked like. Still upset that they cut side missions, most probably because of running out of time from working on the batmobile.
I remember seeing a table in a building with a bowl of candy, and a knife stabbed into the table. The knife was the same one as the one Zsasz uses. Spooky
I think given its similarities with the Pyg mission it was cut by rocksteady in favour of introducing the new villain. it's a shame though because I think it definitely could have worked as an extra mission in season of infamy
I've been looking forward to this since you started teasing it. Not only did it not disappoint, it vastly exceeded my expectations. I've 120% the game at least 4 or 5 times, and I never even noticed the helicopter crash site. I dunno if that's exactly how it would've played out, but it is a really plausible theory with great supporting evidence. Very nicely done!
The problem with this theory is that the bridges for both island are still raised at the point of where zsasz camera footage is filmed, meaning he would’ve had to swim to both islands during his travels. Great theory nonetheless, amazing video.
Even though this side mission was replaced with The Perfect Crime, I still think that Rocksteady could’ve included this in the Season of Infamy DLC to make it up to the fans.
I actually have sort of a personal Mandela effect with Zsasz in AK. I could swear that when i first played it and scanned Zsasz at the clocktower, Batman said something about wondering where he's been hiding and that he'll deal with him later. I was shocked when I couldn't make it work on my second playthrough and couldn't find it anywhere on TH-cam. I could swear I didn't know about this cut content until much later on.
Well that's gonna keep me up at night I also have a Mandela Effect esque encounter about Asylum (after 100 percenting it), but that's different story entirely
Victor Zsasz Side Mission Name: Redslash. a name taken from Zsasz's plotline in Knightfall. Description: Find out what Zsasz is up to in Gotham. Joker's Lines: (when you lock Zsasz up) Be careful Batsy, if a man wants to kill so badly, they don't just need a knife to slaughter. He could straggle, he could snap their necks, and then he gets another couple of scars for his collection. (after speaking to Zsasz in prison) A nihilistic killer with a penchant for scar tissue. A man after my own heart. When I'm in control, he's getting an early parole, and Gotham's getting a bloodbath!
Started playing Batman arkham asylum when i was six and have beat each game five times so a video like this showing what could have been is truly amazing to see. Extra note. Any time i had to play Zaszas' side mission in City I would genuinely get scared because of the music and his demeanor.
When I was playing the game back in the day, I thought this could be Deadshot because of the similarity of the helicopter going down like in Origins. This is awesome, never knew about the cut Zsasz stuff
Honestly when Zsasz never appeared i was kinda upset because he was one of my fav psychos in batman. Then the dlc side quests released and he still wasn’t apart of it i held out hope. Not long later i noticed someone saying he can be seen on the camera and when i saw it i was so excited…but then to have him cut from the game even tho the voicelines are already complete is extremely upsetting. I wish they would just add the cut dlc. I would give anything for it 😂
I'm willing to bet that the firefighter and Firefly missions were supposed to be one combined mission originally, with Zsasz's mission having had the spot. But when they cut him they split up the mission, despite them being so closely connected.
Honestly if this is how the side mission would play out, it makes sense why they cut it, as finding a killer by investigating bodies and crime scenes is very similar to Pyg’s mission in the same game. I love Pyg and his mission, but it’s a shame Zsasz ended up getting the Bane treatment in being one of two characters to appear in Asylum and not in the grand finale.
Good detective work, detective Knerd👍. I would say the reason they cut this side-mission is, because it would've been to similar to the prof Pyg side-mission. They probably decided to just go with prof Pyg, since he was a character they hadn't used yet.
I think the more likely option is that the Militia shot it down given that exact spot where a watchtower is. Although here’s another idea. The side mission triggers after the Stagg Airship Mission (when the watchtower normally is set up (I’ve played and watched this game way too much)). Alfred tells you about a downed GCPD helicopter on Elliot Memorial Hospital with some suspicious abnormalities at the crime scene. Batman heads over there and finds that the Militia set up a Watchtower and they’re talking about how it’s Zsasz’s last known location and how Scarecrow or the Knight wants it locked down while another strike team searches for him. Apparently because Zsasz is so uncontrollable that Scarecrow wants him out of the picture before he messes with his plans. Batman then takes out the Militia, destroys the Watchtower, then pieces together what happened.
This actually makes more sense to me, as the damage to the helicopter's tail looks more similar to a big caliber sniper rifle shot, than from the 2 pipes that were supposedly tied to it (and then not a single policeman noticed it before the takeoff ?)
Amazing video. Beautifully edited. Not only did you show us evidence of the side mission but then you put it all together to show what it’d probably be like. Absolutely amazing.
Bruh I knew he had a cut side mission but I never thought it could be this intense. This might not be exactly what was planned but you put together a helluva story
That Batmobile dialogue is so good!! I like when Batman has a positive mindset deep down, the notion that the struggle matters. Batman would not exist, his crusade could not make sense without at least some sense of optimism.
Something that supports this is when your in the clock tower after oracle is kidnapped and your looking through nearby cameras. If you skip ahead on one of the cameras you can see victor on one of the cameras meaning there would be a mission where you have to find him in the camera footage and track him down
Amazing work, congratulations to everyone who helped discover all this. It's insane how we are still finding new stuff about this game years down the line!
Zsasz’s side mission that was cut makes sense because u do see him on the bottom left camera when you have to find out who took Barbra I commented this at 0:33
In regards to Zsasz starting at the hospital, I personally think either Zsasz was arrested trying to kill patients leftover and abandoned from the evacuation or he was undergoing emergency treatment for severe blood loss. We know from his story he was getting weak and tired from all the new marks he carved into his body from killing rioters, and this was some point before/during the Bat-Signal being switched on at the beginning of Arkham Knight. He could have collapsed from blood loss and been picked up by police and taken to Elliot Memorial for emergency care before being sent to the GCPD for detainment. Then Scarecrow's liason bribes the cop to help Zsasz escape because it just adds one more villain to the pile for Batman to deal with, especially one as hard to find as Zsasz as he has no pattern to his killing, wearing down the Bat even further. I wish Zsasz got his side mission in Arkham Knight over Deacon Blackfire. It's probably the one sidequest in the entire trilogy that I feel should have been cut, it is done the only side mission done in a single mission and it just feels like a waste when we could have gotten either Zsasz or another character to fill the slot. Hell if they wanted a Jack Ryder mission so bad over Zsasz, they should have made it a Deadshot mission.
This game is my guilty pleasure as I find myself playing it through about once a month or so. This vid is so thorough at pointing out all these clues that connects all these missed details in the game that it's making me want to go check all these places for myself the next time I play it.
The secret room behind Panessa's studios is the last hiding location of Clayface. A lot of old movie stuffs just like Basil Carlo loved and... clay everywhere. On the two seats near the entrance (Clayface was huge) and also on the exit door. You can see it better with detective view. Finally, you can also find clay on the boat nearby. The type of boat witch is shown on Arkham City and the only one in Arkham Knight. Or maybe Clayface used Zsasz identity.
Also when you gain access to the game files and dig deep you can go back to the mission where Batman goes to the clock tower to find Barbara and when you scan Zsazz Batman says “Zsazz, he’ll regret coming back to Gotham”
ok but.. why would Zsasz pose a body thats not a victim of his. he didnt "free that zombie" himself, why would he bother. looks to me that the broken neck guy survived the crash and crawled back against the ledge but was then executed right there by the bad guy, which I dont really think is Zsasz at all. we know that he was supposed to have a side quest but that helicopter crash in particular doesnt really have hints of his presence there. what the video says is that one of the bodies is posed, suggesting Zsasz was involved but it's actually just laying there, not really different than just a guy dropping dead and staying just laying there, meanwhile with the other Zsasz victims you have no doubt its not a natural pose for a dead body. on this map 11:44 it really makes sense that straight line pattern of 3 points Zsasz would visit, but the helicopter scene is all the way separated from that route, he would have to escape, go north-west, kill those 3 men, then go back in the opposite direction to the clock tower and his hideout east. it would make more sense that he would start west and go east to his hideout, killing those men on his way there. besides no other side quest has so direct ties to the main quest like this one would by having Scarecrow play a part, and his symbol being there and all. I think the helicopter scene was supposed to be part of the main quest and Zsasz would have had his own separate thing
The many times I beat Arkham Knight. How did I not once notice him in the ClockTower Camera. Makes me want to go back and play it again lol. Love this video. This was super well put together. Every detail felt precise. I can pretty much imagine the whole thing play out in my head. Fantastic work.
You make great stuff. And this is probably the best one yet-those little pieces left behind are fascinating. And the way you present it all makes it perfect
12:25 I think Alfred would tell Bruce because Gordon goes rogue right before the oracle camera section and he drops the batphone which Bruce gives to ivy so Gordon has no way to contact Batman and even if he did,he wouldn't tell Batman about a crash ,he would tell Batman to check missing officers that were sent to retrieve zsasz .but since Alfred was scanning for the militia forces, I remember after we get a chip Oracle threw after the car crash when oracle got kidnapped .Alfred told Batman about a burning bat symbol on a rooftop . I think this because you mentioned scanning zsasz during the oracle camera segment and for Batman to know zsasz is in Gotham then get a report relating zsasz is ironic don't ya think. I think Alfred quote on quote would say:"Sir,we have reports of a burning bat symbol with a hooded figure beside it and police reports of a squad retrieving Victor Zsasz and not returning near Elliot memorial hospital". And Batman would reply with either :"Thanks Alfred ,I'll check it out " or " I knew zsasz was free in gotham, I'll check it out, thanks" obviously depending on if you scanned zsasz or not.mention this and please credit me if you discover something else or make an updated version of this theory, thanks for reading anyways
Brooo I can tell so much attention to detail and time that went into this video and putting the video out as a whole . Great job! I fully believe the side mission was all that you said and I love how you ended it with his dialogue and how it would’ve looked . Love the arkham content 👏
God I’ll keep wishing every year that somehow we can get this mission added into a new update, or the very least someone mods as much as possible back in, zsasz needs to be vindicated for the great Arkham villain he is
I think I have a better idea for how you would get the Zsasz quest: you know how, at the start of the game, Gordon gives you information on a Riddler sighting and a strung up body? I wonder if, either as well as or instead of the strung up body, he'd also tell you of the crashed helicopter. So you go to scan the crime scene, and Batman ultimately deduces that Zsasz was in the hospital, and must have killed the final police officer. From here the side mission would be on hold for a while, until you search for Oracle with the clock tower footage, where he would see Zsasz. From here he deduces the direction Zsasz is going in, and you get the next part of the quest: to investigate where Zsasz went. Alternatively, maybe the Zsasz footage was reused for that scene when the side mission was cut, and instead there would have been a second clocktower footage investigation specifically to find out where Zsasz went after killing someone, maybe on a different screen. Building upon this, I wonder if the riddle in the final game was one of Zsasz's crime scenes during his side quest, and you figure out that Zsasz was heading for the clocktower from it
For your next video you should make a wish list for the dlc playable suicide squad members. I really want slade and Azreyal to be playable in the suicide squad. I even think red hood might have a shot at being playable.
I'm not sure i can really get behind this theory. While playing, I often had Batmobile dialogue lasting longer than the journey to the GCPD, and would wait to get out until they finished talking. I don't see how Victor would have broken through that large door to the back room at Panessa Studios. The other theory in your other video about Clayface makes more sense to me for that particular room - especially the concept art of Clayface being there. I believe you're probably spot on about the other parts of the cut mission though.
There's evidence that Clayface was in that unused room. The door is busted in by someone who was likely very big and strong and there's orange mud on one of the chairs and the giant slot machine. That orange is the same color as Clayface.
something doesn't add up...how did Zsasz cross the bridge from miagani island to bleake island before batman even lowered them. Same also goes for how he murdered the thugs in founders island even though the bridge doesn't get lowered until later in the game. Great theory tho:)
Zsasz escaped the hospital before the events of Arkham Knight, so I would assume the bridge between miagani and founders island was still down at that point. But you're right about the bridge between founders island and bleake island though. Not sure how Zsasz was on founders island at the beginning of Arkham Knight and then was able to get to bleake island when Barbara got kidnapped. Probably just a mistake on Rocksteady's part
The one thing I imagine probably would have played out different, if this is all indeed tied to Zsasz, is the broken neck pilot. Given that the broken neck is his only major injury, and he's the only 'posed' person, and then barely and in a weird spot it makes more sense to me that he actually survived the crash, crawled to the ledge, and the clue would be on examining him exactly what you said. That it makes no sense that his neck is broken, but he's there sitting up, so someone (Zsasz in this case) snapped their neck after surviving the crash. The way his hand is just off to the side lying open like it is, to me adds to this, as it very likely could have been that the pilot was about to use a radio to call in the crash and warn Gordon that Zsasz is loose, only for Zsasz to snap their neck to stop them before leaving and probably taking the radio. (Since he used phones in Arkham City, it wouldn't be too strange that he might speak over police frequencies using the stolen radio for a similar effect.) The killed victims you find posed even have a radio between them, that Zsasz might have spoken to Batman through when they're found.
Amazing theory I wonder if it being at the studio would mean robin got involved some how he’s the only one of batman allies not to get a part in a side mission obviously he’s a part in the campaign but it just didn’t feel like he was popping up as much as the others were because you got just that one chunk of him then he’s locked up. If robin was a part of the mission could have been a reason it was cut as from a certain point onwards robin shouldn’t be available for it. Also makes you wonder how many villains are around that studio like Harley was there , victor might have been, all the jokers and possibly clayface based on concept art like did everyone know that was a bat hide out was that at one point an element?
Man this got me thinking that they could've turned Harley's break in at Panessa into a full fledged jail break with multiple super villains. That would've been so much fun
@@Knerd-YT Oooh, that’s interesting and, in some ways, works better than the Five Jokers. If instead it’s a whole bunch of supervillains she was breaking out for Scarecrow I always felt the entire Joker blood story was added very last minute. Like none of the other jokers did anything and just got killed off fast. batman seeing joker works just the same if it’s just fear gas instead of fear gas and joker blood and it felt like a weird use of Harley she was massive in the marketing and got a pre-order DLC only just to appear as a side character in a part of the campaign like it’s a weird role for her
They definitely could’ve easily turned The Movie Studios into Batmans villain prison. Make Robin the warden so that he both feels like he’s being useful during the night and is available to do other stuff. Maybe he can do a side mission or two since the prison runs itself basically. You could have the remnants of Clayface, Zsasz, Calendar Man, any number of villains you want. Hell maybe this is where they go instead of GCPD and if you’ve caught some during the night, well guess what they’re out again. This could also change up Harley’s dlc, maybe Nightwing is there to over see Ivys transfer to the prison. Oh there is so much you can do with this arc of the story that’s not the Jokers Blood story.
@@captainblighe7297 yeah (I guess for the theory to work zsasz still needs to wonder over there from the chopper so maybe he just sees the break out and decides to check it out) but yeah I could imagine this prison having the more high end villains to dangerous for gcpd or maybe it villains that could maybe help lead to a cure/ vaccine to fear toxin clayface could fit for both maybe copperhead, Bane and a few others or something like makes sense why robins there as said he’s the guard Gotham gone to shit scary is forming a team of villains best keep the most dangerous locked up and guarded somewhere safer than gcpd or Arkham or robin is making a cure for fear gas instead of joker blood
Maybe the car dialog means more? Batman seems to take zsaz's talk about his victims personally, maybe originally acarecrow brought a member of the batfamily to zsaz's hideout, i think robin would make the most sense, scarecrow sends you on a goose chase after you blame yourself for robins kidnapping, and follow the symobols around the city mearly to find out there was a killer underneath your hideout all night, killing directly under your nose and about to kill another robin, this would add to the whole plot very well because you and robin were just together while you saw visions of letting jason down, and what could the arkham knight want more than to remind you of how you failed him by making you do it again. Maybe arkham knight informs you of the helicopter crash, a true killer with no justification no remorse and poses the bodies for fun? Zsaz is the closest thing to Joker left in gotham, thinknof jokers dialog here, even more of the death in the family scenes. Batman would truly be afraid if he lost Barbara, jim, tim, and his pride all in one night, and bruce woukd blame himself for his failure, he lost his touch, he's not fit to be the hero of gotham anymore, knightfall is all the more necessary if it took him this long to find robin, and with hints dropped too
Wow this is awesome, high quality! Since this is my favourite game I've always known about the crashed helicopter but I never imagined it could've been for a side mission. This Zsasz mission would've been great but I can understand why it may have been cut. This just goes to show how detailed and amazing Rocksteady are.
Amazing video bro. You deserve thousands of more views for this. Thank you for this. Now I can officially add this to the Arkham canon events list of theories that I view as canon in the Arkham verse that were never officially revealed
Now I wish the mission was present and there was a conversation between him and Slade "You think it's wise.. locking me up with all these lesser warriors?", and a conversation between this Viktor and Simon Stagg in particular.
Amazing video, it makes a lot of sense, but the scarecrow symbols are in multiple locations around the map. Theres one on the lower part of the hospital beside where you restore power during the ra's dlc, theres one on the gotham herald around the corner from the pyg victim, and a few more that I've seen that idr the exact placement of rn. Overall really good theory but i dont think the scarecrow symbols mean a whole lot. I think they're just a sign of scarecrows control
Yes I just found one the other day in the area behind Panessa Studios. Except I don't remember there being any bodies by the choppper. I'll also have to go back and check if it was near that unused room behind the studio.
@@Gage_Brumley I member at least one crashed copper on the ground with bodies around it but didn’t think to check the surroundings for details because I thought they were just decoration. I can’t remember where I saw it though.
Kinda a missed opportunity to add Back into the game since the switch trilogy version was released.. as anyways you can have a post story side mission where it could unlock something like a new area..

Videos like this shows how amazing this game is. 8 years since it’s release and people are still coming up with great theories around this masterpiece.
Really disappointing considering the Barbra one was the only time you use this besides the blimp
Love the theory but could use a bit of tweaking.
I don’t think scarecrow would want a wild card like Zsasz out ruining the pace of his plans. I would say the bribe was actually to kill him. Make it look like a failure with the helicopter.
As for the side quest:
Batman would, like you suggested, find victims around the city posed. The commonality between them was the use of props. The one we can find uses a fishing pole. The props can be traced back to the movie studios. That’s how Batman would track him. In the boss encounter, it’s stealth like before. You sneak your way up and choke him out.
Wow I love your idea that Batman would use the props to find Zsasz's location, that's actually so smart
Let go! Get crazy! Let Uncle J come out to play.”
The guys at Rocksteady could do it better, but that’s how I imagine the situation would play out.
@@VariableZeroZsasz has really fallen of the mark hasn’t he Bats? Hahahahaha! But don’t fear Brucey boy, oh actually do I need a bit more of that delicious fear toxin from our friend Crane the crocodile snack and I’ll be in control. Maybe then Zsasz will have his salavtion, an amazing punchline a final mark as I carve smile onto his face like a thanksgiving turkey hahahah. Speaking of Turkeys, where is the frozen TV dinner freeze, he failed to get me cure!”
@@someguyontheinternet.3318 That’s actually much better.
@@VariableZero I just tried to use Arlham Asylums dialogue as a guide whilst trying to cater to city, knights and orgins takes on him. I’m glad to hear that yoy liked it. I liked yours too.
I really wish that the one we got in season 5 of *Arrow* was more like his early designs, when he actually looked like his comic book counterpart, and had his trademark helmet...
... but hey, the one we ended up getting is a consensus top 3 Arrowverse Big Bad (alongside Reverse Flash and Deathstroke, and close behind them there's Lex Luthor and Zoom)
so not all of it is negative.
I just want Prometheus to get another chance to shine, his (pretty damn good) feud with *Midnighter* was in 2016 and lasted maybe 10 issues...
then
*Arrow* season 5 was in 2016/2017....
Bro turned into batman himself.
Nice closure for him
There's actually a cut piece of dialog where he talks about it. It's not in this video though.
Spooky
Do you know what building it was in?
@Knerdd I'd have to replay the game to be sure, but I don't remember.
@@DAYV3ENlike nothing at all?
@captainmichaelstudios "me when I spread misinformation on the internet 😜😜😜🤭"
I think given its similarities with the Pyg mission it was cut by rocksteady in favour of introducing the new villain. it's a shame though because I think it definitely could have worked as an extra mission in season of infamy
I've been looking forward to this since you started teasing it. Not only did it not disappoint, it vastly exceeded my expectations. I've 120% the game at least 4 or 5 times, and I never even noticed the helicopter crash site. I dunno if that's exactly how it would've played out, but it is a really plausible theory with great supporting evidence. Very nicely done!
That's crazy that you never noticed the crash site. Pretty sure there's a few things throughout the story that lead you to the top of the hospital
@@deathstarstallion I believe there is an Arkham Knight watchpoint in that exact place.
Just goes to show how much people's attention span deteriorated in the past couple of years
The problem with this theory is that the bridges for both island are still raised at the point of where zsasz camera footage is filmed, meaning he would’ve had to swim to both islands during his travels. Great theory nonetheless, amazing video.
This was before the events of the start of the game I think
Even though this side mission was replaced with The Perfect Crime, I still think that Rocksteady could’ve included this in the Season of Infamy DLC to make it up to the fans.
I actually have sort of a personal Mandela effect with Zsasz in AK. I could swear that when i first played it and scanned Zsasz at the clocktower, Batman said something about wondering where he's been hiding and that he'll deal with him later. I was shocked when I couldn't make it work on my second playthrough and couldn't find it anywhere on TH-cam. I could swear I didn't know about this cut content until much later on.
I remember this as well.
I remember it two they probably removed it with an update or something
Well that's gonna keep me up at night
I also have a Mandela Effect esque encounter about Asylum (after 100 percenting it), but that's different story entirely
I also remember this! I think the voice line was something like: “Zsasz. He’ll regretting back to Gotham”
When you were 6?! I was scared enough playing that game when I was 16 🫣😅
When I was playing the game back in the day, I thought this could be Deadshot because of the similarity of the helicopter going down like in Origins.
There's also some level of similarity with Deacon Blackfire.
Batman then takes out the Militia, destroys the Watchtower, then pieces together what happened.
it's an idea allright, but it's probably not true, Zsasz already has a backstory within Arkham Knight
This actually makes more sense to me, as the damage to the helicopter's tail looks more similar to a big caliber sniper rifle shot, than from the 2 pipes that were supposedly tied to it (and then not a single policeman noticed it before the takeoff ?)
Thats, literaly the best Batman Arkham Knight vídeo i ever seen
Amazing video. Beautifully edited. Not only did you show us evidence of the side mission but then you put it all together to show what it’d probably be like. Absolutely amazing.
Dude you're a batman level detective. This is an INSANE and complex theory, awesome vid.👍👍👍
Man actually became batman to solve this unfinished piece, great video dude
*Man ?*
If you skip ahead on one of the cameras you can see victor on one of the cameras meaning there would be a mission where you have to find him in the camera footage and track him down
i like when creators enable Click counters on the time stamps and its allways nice to see that almost everyone skips the sponsor xD
The fact that you used the asylum theme in the background makes this video’s atmosphere so much better
Nice theory, that hideout in Panessa is soooooo sus, ur 100% right about it tbh nice vid 💜
Amazing work, congratulations to everyone who helped discover all this. It's insane how we are still finding new stuff about this game years down the line!
Zsasz’s side mission that was cut makes sense because u do see him on the bottom left camera when you have to find out who took Barbra I commented this at 0:33
It's very refreshing hearing new Arkham theories I actually do think this one is true!
Hell if they wanted a Jack Ryder mission so bad over Zsasz, they should have made it a Deadshot mission.
no way Batman hit him with the "wanna bet?" 😂😂
I can't believe there is still content that is being made about Arkham games, the best games I ever played as a kid.
You make great stuff. And this is probably the best one yet-those little pieces left behind are fascinating. And the way you present it all makes it perfect
Dope video! Really fun to watch
Wow. The amount of effort in this video is impressive. It's definitely worth a sub.
This was really, really well put together. I got so invested in the storyline! Well done on this
12:25 I think Alfred would tell Bruce because Gordon goes rogue right before the oracle camera section and he drops the batphone which Bruce gives to ivy so Gordon has no way to contact Batman and even if he did,he wouldn't tell Batman about a crash ,he would tell Batman to check missing officers that were sent to retrieve zsasz .but since Alfred was scanning for the militia forces, I remember after we get a chip Oracle threw after the car crash when oracle got kidnapped .Alfred told Batman about a burning bat symbol on a rooftop .
You’d make Batman himself proud with your detective work
Now THAT is some detective work. Good work! I'm impressed (and jealous to not have discovered all of this myself 😅😅)
Brooo I can tell so much attention to detail and time that went into this video and putting the video out as a whole . Great job! I fully believe the side mission was all that you said and I love how you ended it with his dialogue and how it would’ve looked . Love the arkham content 👏
Great job as always ❤
I’ve been a fan for a while keep up the good work you’ve only been on youtube for a year and 33 K subs already and you deserve more! Hope you succeed!
This was probably cut for being too similar to Professor Pygs mission line. Though idk because the Batmobile is already very repetitive to begin with.
More of these kinds of videos, I'm rewatching this one right now!
Building upon this, I wonder if the riddle in the final game was one of Zsasz's crime scenes during his side quest, and you figure out that Zsasz was heading for the clocktower from it
Let's goooo I was waiting days for this keep up the good work❤❤❤.
Now this is sone world’s greatest detective work
Season of Infamy 2: Zsasz, Bane, Deadshot, and the Court of Owls
When I first saw this I thought it was taken down by a militia watchtower because the helicopter crash can found on a militia watchtower.
You literally became Batman by making this theory well done!
Zsasz is one of my favorite villain, I'm still pissed they cut his mission, can't we have one more DLC? Instead we got the shitty Suicide Squad game
There's evidence that Clayface was in that unused room. The door is busted in by someone who was likely very big and strong and there's orange mud on one of the chairs and the giant slot machine. That orange is the same color as Clayface.
I know dude I'm the one that made that video lol
something doesn't add up...how did Zsasz cross the bridge from miagani island to bleake island before batman even lowered them.
@@Knerd-YTdo you know anyone who could make a mod based on this.😊
I remember seeing him in the cameras when tracking Oracle's kidnappers. I was so confused when Batman wouldn't acknowledge him.
if Batman Arkham Knight would get a remastered version I really hope to see Zsasz side mission 🙏
(Since he used phones in Arkham City, it wouldn't be too strange that he might speak over police frequencies using the stolen radio for a similar effect.)
The killed victims you find posed even have a radio between them, that Zsasz might have spoken to Batman through when they're found.
Amazing theory
I wonder if it being at the studio would mean robin got involved some how he’s the only one of batman allies not to get a part in a side mission obviously he’s a part in the campaign but it just didn’t feel like he was popping up as much as the others were because you got just that one chunk of him then he’s locked up.
This is one of the most strung together Arkham theories I’ve heard and I’ve heard a lot
he also has different dialogue if you catch him after the main story
The fact that you can see Zsasz in the first video that you have to reconstruct to find Barbara shows that there were bigger plans
Beautiful deduction my friend enjoyed every minute
2:35
Bro's never heard of clipping. 😆
These people just went on a detective mission equivalent to batman
Amazing video bro. You deserve thousands of more views for this. Thank you for this. Now I can officially add this to the Arkham canon events list of theories that I view as canon in the Arkham verse that were never officially revealed
Rocksteady is very well known for keeping secrets buried in their game. Sefton Hil is probably watching this thinking "Ah, someone finally found it"
They decided to cut zsasz’s side mission because it’s “too similar than pyg’s)
3:35 what was batman doin🤣
Now I wish the mission was present and there was a conversation between him and Slade "You think it's wise.. locking me up with all these lesser warriors?", and a conversation between this Viktor and Simon Stagg in particular.
They should make a directors cut remaster which includes it
The way he said ring ring had me
Rolling.😂
Amazing video, it makes a lot of sense, but the scarecrow symbols are in multiple locations around the map. Theres one on the lower part of the hospital beside where you restore power during the ra's dlc, theres one on the gotham herald around the corner from the pyg victim, and a few more that I've seen that idr the exact placement of rn. Overall really good theory but i dont think the scarecrow symbols mean a whole lot. I think they're just a sign of scarecrows control
Huh thanks for mentioning that, I don't ever remember seeing any other scarecrow symbols around the map that's my bad
Weren't there other helicopter crashes scattered throughout the map of Knight? I remember seeing multiple crashes.
If this game ever got a next-gen re-release, I’d love for this side quest to be restored, would be such a cool secret addition.
I like how you did on 13:50,nice work buddy
I don't think you've entirely got it right, but it's still a piece of detective work worthy of Batman. Nice to see a fan theory video on TH-cam that actually uses facts and evidence.
interesting thing i don't know if it's linked to zsasz or anything but on the place where militia point under elliot hospital there's some button i guess on the grass
This could just be a coincidence, but I was playing through the game yesterday and noticed another crashed helicopter in the area behind Panessa Studios. I wonder if it could have also been a part of this lost side mission?
I always knew this crashing site meant sth , cmon it's ak and wow this is true batman ! Some genuine detective work . F ing phenomenal video
This dude be doing batman detective for a cut mission year later after the game comes out. Love it! Please do more lol
