As am typing this, am living in a precast building, In Dubai this technology has been embraced and used even to build taller buildings, this is the future, thanks for airing this out
Lynn hi. Top content! ... If I drill the precast to mount TV on the wall, then by chance cut through a pre-stressed cable inside the panel. Will it weaken?
A lot of fact checking and comparatives are needed here. Precast works, but it is structural integrity is its success. Watching his office on a separate video, structural questions come to mind. I work in an office made of precast slabs (just walls) but they are not hollow blocks. The build was in situ not offsite. Finishing costs are not cheap and thats where the catch is.
True. Ni ngumu kupata construction companies na contractors/mafundi who can be trusted. They are always looking for ways to inflate the costs not to cut them
Good Work. Those asking about precasts, note a lot of houses like Jericho, Lumumba, Jerusalem, Maringo, a lot of the Kenya Railways houses all used Precast Technology and they are still standing 70yrs later.
@@wahukamunyu7558 probably if that had been done, the conversations happening on destroying the current houses to build those storied apartments would not be happening. just saying. And ofcourse the work done those days was quality and materials lasted longer. Sahi ujenzi ni shamba la wanyama - everyone for himself and God for us all!
Mr Sammy is the real deal. I approached him wanting to put up a two bedroom hse . I provided the drawings and he gave me a quote and a Fundi who delivered the job in two weeks. The estimates were spot on.
In Europe they build big buildings using precast and within few months the house is already standing. I'm happy to see the system's arrived home in Kenya. Pongezi sana to this guy❤🎉
@@lifeiseverything9What do you mean by that? This home actually has more privacy than homes in overseas. They are mostly town homes and homes in one gated communities. Unless, you live in the outskirts of the city and lived on a massive land.
Lynn this is the best interview and an eye 👁️ opener for diaspora . We as diaspora feel that prices of houses and land are very exorbitant in kenya . If precast will bring down the cost of construction it will be better for the country . We need another interview with Sammy show casing some of the multi-storey buildings , maisonettes either finished or in the process plus the costs so that diaspora can compare with companies like Wilson Homes etc . Thanks 🙏
I am watching you from Papua New Guinea, and I have been praying for some kind of material, from concrete that I can built my home with. I am so blessed that I watched your programme, that has given me some insight... Thank you and be blessed.
The construction industry is revolutionizing and better things ahead in every sector of construction, from Architecture to construction to interior designs.......its exciting
I just love people who depend and acknowledge the almighty GOD in all they do. Thank you Lynn's guest. Sweet Lynn you are doing an awesome job. Keap educating your fellow Kenyans.
He is oozing so much wisdom every word he speaks. May God continue to bless you as you serve your purpose. You are doing a good job keep it up. Thanks Lynn for great episodes. Barikiwa sana.❤
As architect who does design and build I can guarantee that the so called alternative tech including precsst are not necessarily cheap. Yes you will save on time and cost savings are negligible. FYI walling is only 12% of the construction do you see where I am going. Simple challenge for anyone looking to build get a plan send to a number of this companies to get a quote and get a quote for basic finish stone and motor House and compare.
@@malissawhite4569 Hehehe... if I tell you this will cost 1.5m and it will take 25 day build and another will cost the same amount but it will take you 30 days what exactly is the saving. And on material cost going with time I can buy all my materials at the same so what exactly is your point?
@@sophiekamau3608 unlike you I studied this shit and of the major part of design was doing a case study... most of this people who are selling this things are businessman out to make killing and capitalise on gullibility of Kenyans. I can almost guarantee out of big number of them selling them on a few have done a casestudy. I live and word in the building industry in dubai I haven't come across the version of panels available in Kenya.
Great Job! Would love an episode on cost estimates for different types and size of houses- ballpark estimates of the structure without interior finishings.
Very inspired, I saw a nearby house in UK was built in three months and I was like I wish this technology was in kenya, I had no Idea that precast is already embraced in kenya. Thanks Lynn our girl for this content.
Bakers are what they are using to build mansions, building and bridges and high ways in the western world it just means that Africa is behind with this new technology .I am living in the west so I understand what he is talking about.
A plus: Lynn and Sammy, this is completely amazing. I really appreciate Sammy and what he is doing. Changing yhe trajectory of building. I dont know him but I already trust him. On the other hand: Safety first. Please provide your staff with proper work cloths and protective equipment for the sake of their safety, and for the sake of Kingdom Business.
I am very impressed with him. When I went to visit him in his new site, the had put up the building but the airing area had no roof. Really impressive how he has remained consistent. Well done Lynn and well done for bringing such inspiring people. I hope many young entrepreneurs will take cue from him and also learn how much it pays to believe in a higher being.
Lynn i love this interview. A very humble, young, knowledgeable young man. I will pay Kingdom Precast Solutions a visit Lynn. Soon. For sure this is the way to go.
Thank you for the great information that you give us. I am an African diaspora from Canada and planning to build a house in Namanga Kenya I will use it. Thank you 🙏 again you always bring great information to your viewers.
The biggest estate in Kenya with over 4550 units is made of precast. The walls were tested recently by a great rubble and they stood the test. Way to go
I have never met Sammy but my spirit has always given him thumps-up. I see genuine and trustful fellow. Precast concrete is the now technology. Thanks Lynn
This concept sounds very fascinating and if the engineering and long term durability and product strength is spot on then definitely it is the way to go if constructing a new home; great savings, durable and aesthetically pleasing. Congratulations Kingdom Solutions. When you have the Creator in your heart first, business will always thrive.
Here in Europe, literally, all modern buildings have been made of precast. One other advantage is less storage space needed on site as materials are brought ready, this means no loss of construction materials due to theft.
You cannot ask people who are selling precast whether their product is cheaper than others, they will obviously say it's cheaper. We need someone who is using conventional way to give you a quote also then you compare.
A very exciting show and way to go. Thanks, Lynn for interviewing Sammy I have watched him on Property Noma and I believe this is the way to go. God bless him, he is so grounded it is amazing.
