I love mine. I have prescription transition lenses. The AI is phenomenal and I like not having headphones in my ears. I almost never use my AirPods. I did have to tweak the settings to improve the battery life.
Can you have prescription lenes put in? When you take video is it streaming to your phone being stored in the gallery or is it streaming to meta? How long can you record. What quality are the pictures? What resolution and how many MP is the camera on the glasses? Does it work well in low light?
@TheGreatMrBill yes you can have prescription lenses put in, the video goes into the Meta cloud via meta view app then you can transfer it to your phone. Kinda like a go pro also the res is 1080 I believe
@colincampbell9274 no it's not - its a custom build I've integrated into watching a message and then sending that message into a webhook to then call api for gpt and api for linkedin. I also did it with other social media networks too.
It is possible to use the AI in the UK with a VPN, you only need the VPN to install and setup the app and then you can disconnect, mine have been working with AI in the UK for about a month now with no issues.
These glasses may have some nice features, but if Meta does not give us recording videos in Landscape view, these glasses are useless to me. I hate Portrait view recordings. For over 300 dollars for a pair of glasses, Come on Meta, give us Landscape recording view.
Nice mine should be ready to collect from my opticians after this week.

Yes, I love mine too especially being able to hack them for non-practical uses!

What is the size of the frames that you use in the video? Large?
@@grekogecko yes they are the large frames! The small I didn't like - my head isn't big either.
You don’t have to pause and wait for the “alert “ chime after saying “Hey meta” you can say all in one breath.
@colincampbell9274 yes I know - they also did an update where you don't have to say hey meta on a follow up again either.
@colincampbell9274 also check out my video on how I hacked them as well!
@@AInewsguyI just watched it , very cool. Is it a Siri shortcut? Or a web hook? Very curious.
