@@songmanl1480 I see your point. Alright, if we want to be precise with language, I guess we could say that the song is a masterpiece (because "piece" refers to the song) therefore the credit goes to Pink Floyd, and then I should have said that this is a master-performance!
But considering I am writing a comment on a social network, and I am not writing an academic paper, I believe I can use words outside their most precise meaning, giving them a broader sense for the sake of being expressive, as hyperboles are a resource that casual speech has borrowed from poetic language.

_'Any Colour You Like'_ on steroids! One of my very favorite Floyd tunes, and done so well. "Eargasm" is a good word for it. The Main Squeeze, as always, made the song their own. I truly appreciate and enjoy that.
However, I still prefer the original. Why? Because the original gently floats me away on a cloud, while this version is a rocket ship of energy blasting off. The Main Squeeze produces music to which I can listen time and again----they're absolutely that good! This version by The Main Squeeze may well be more technically virtuoso, yet the original of this song will still get more replays by me. That's more a tribute to Pink Floyd than any knock against these guys, though. It's not just about how many notes can be crammed in, or how much special effects added. What makes a song great is often the spacing, the economy of notes, the melody, the feel or vibe, and that elusive line between clean and distortion.
Of course, music----like many things----is highly subjective and dependent upon one's tastes. So, I have no problem or objection whatsoever to you or anyone else who likes this version better. It's all good!
I've never thought that anybody could perform a PF's songs better than PF. But you are really the best. From the first sound to the last one.

I feel like every song is all leading up And building tension for When they finally perform a cover of Comfortably numb it will be so powerful that it will Cure cancer and create world peace forever.! As a guitarist hands-down he is one of the best most skilled and talented guitarist up-and-coming right now but the thing is with this band every single member is outstanding and amazing with skilled. I love the bass mans vibe and improvisational fill ins then you have the keyboard which is just ridiculous if you really Pay attention to the drummer reading and playing along to the Flow and not to mention the vocals are incredible. You can’t just say one good thingAbout this group. They are a five star band!
