I absolutely loved Shopkins as a kid; I even collected them all the way back in season 1! My favorite seasons were season 8 and 9 personally; I loved the world vacation and wild style themes! It’s too bad that Moose Toys had to go on and capitalize on the whole mini brands trend now. It seems like the “Real Littles” are one big product placement that gets the trend followers’ attention for only a short while until they get bored with the trend altogether. Shopkins back then had its charm, and now it’s pretty much gone.
I mean, I personally didn't mind the Real Littles, they were just a bit to expensive at that point and... Ya know, 2020 and all that jazz, couldn't really go to the store to get more at that point in time.
Thanks for the information about why they were discontinued, i used to love shopkins btw I still have them! This is very sad that they stopped making them
OMG THIS IS SO NOSTALGIC‼️ 😭🥹😆💖🌷💕 Shopkins was one of my favourite toy brands ever as a child, other than LPS I remember I had an entire collection of Shopkins ranging from season 1-3, my favourites were definitely the baby Shopkins, because of their fuzziness and soft texture and appearance, but I’ve lost a lot of them, because I always constantly traded them away to my other classmates 😭🙏🏼❤️🩹‼️
My mother gave me tommy ketchup, rock n broc and ghurty yoghurt. She would regret that day. I have over 200 shopkins. Sadly i sold few like guurty yoghurt but still own over 100
lol, happy to hear that! Maybe one day we'll get an official Season 18... Though, I doubt it would be called 18, they'd probably just start back at one and work their way back up from there if there was a reboot. 👍
Moose made a horrific mistake trying to size up against those miniature product toys... They were already those, but with MORE personality and originality. They just threw that all away 😭😭
I fully agree, they should have just stuck to being Shopkins and not copying what others were doing. Though, they may have been able to get away with it if it wasn't 2020...
@@e_eMakesMANYOcs the reason why I say season seven is with the whole gimmick thing it made collecting more complicated, and I think that what seasons1-6 did so well is make it as simple as buying packs of individual pieces that don’t need to interact with one another
Fuuuck I was literally cleaning out my room and found TUBS of shopkins. That brought me back so many years, lol. I was even in one of the magazines with my collection 😭
Oh, wow! Mighty impressive! You'd definitely want to hold onto a collection like that, some day the market for them will skyrocket once the nostalgia for them hits.
ooh i love shopkins so much!!!! i have bunch of them, probably not as much as urs tho lolol and can u make a video about pikmi pops pls? theyre also made by moose toys. i tried searching up when it discontinued or why but i couldnt find anything helpful. also i dont really see alot of people talking about pikmi's.
If you check my community page I have a picture of what’s left but luckily my cousin who also used to collect them still has her full collection and I’m really excited for when she can show me
You know, now that I think about it, I don’t know where they went. But wherever they are I hope they’re making some kid or person who took them for the nostalgia just as happy as they made me.

@@GooUTTPISBAD 1 - 6 is kinda the OGs of the Shopkins. I mean, for certain they stopped making the collectors books after 6, as I've never seen one that goes up to 8 or 10.

Yeah, it's disappointing that they've disappeared. Hopefully they'll make a comeback some day soon though.
Oh I miss shopkins I wondered why the disappeared 😕
Serious seven and mini brands, that’s why they’re gone😢
Apparently Moose Toys wanted to capitalize on the whole “mini brands” trend unfortunately.
One of the reasons why I liked shopkins for so long was because of Cookieworldc
Please someone here remember her
How could anyone forget? That was the TH-cam of the period!
Apparently it was swirl but as a kid I always heard world

Shopkins got shoplifted
They would sometimes, though the worst shoplifting happened after the pandemic, so technically it never affected them too much.
