I liked it but I miss the ones that had a more grosery store theme

Better branding
I think they initially got rid of it bc series 6 & 7 weren’t quite as successful, & shopkins were more profitable at the time, so they cancelled it. Then they bought it back bc moose remembered it was their cash cow IP.
Probably to revive the brand

I used to hate Grocery Gang because it replaced Trash Pack, but looking back, they were pretty cool.
I miss playing with these, I was always impressing my parents with school and other stuff just to get these funky little fellas. I wish they would come back again...
these and stikbots were the toy brand for me. now u go to lets say a walmart and everything is just branded, i mean tons was years ago but its just completely branded stuff, nothing original

One time I went to this restaurant and I brought Crusty Cactus from Series 5, and it got stuck in the booth, so my parents went on EBay to buy me a new one because I really loved Crusty Cactus.

Grossery Gang is what got me back into trash pack in 2017.
I used to play with these things all the time. Sucks that they got discontinued.
I've heard that they weren't actually discontinued because of sales but because Moose wanted to focus on other toylines instead.
I could be wrong about this however.
Its weird they still sell the series 5 things on amazon. I also believe they have the 10 pack for a whopping 40 dollars but I havent checked in like 2 years

I remember grocery gang. I’m not sure if these were offical but before Toys R Us closed down, there were grocery gang collecter cards. There were stickers, scratchy cards and of course the ultra rare cards like the sardine guy and the pineapple dude.
These were definitely real, I had some of my own and they were awesome
I actually loved grocery gang, I first saw the series when I was watching CookieWorldC, I really loved the colors and how they looked so I’ve always wanted to get a pack of my own and open one :3

When I was a kid me and my mom would play for hour with these as my childhood faded with my sisters the paint did on them as well. None except for my favourite and my moms have faded paint

I’ve been a fan of the grocery gang ever since it was released in 2016. I have almost all of the place sets and let’s just say 20+ of the characters. And that’s a lot.
I love watching videos like this from an anthropological perspective. Think about it; If this video somehow survived for a hundred years, future archeologists and anthropologists would consider it a find of the century. A massive overview of a small cultural thing made in its time
I remember getting the whole store display because the store owner was a good friend of my parents and he didn't need the display anymore, I was over the moon 😅
I got some display only playset, which was never sold in store. I don't know where it's at anymore, tho 2016 is a long time ago now 🥲

I remember seeing these guys for a little bit. I’m not sure if they sell that well in my area but I remember seeing them and liking them. I didn’t really get too many of them since I was a big Shopkins girl, but I did it a couple of them don’t know where they are though. Probably lost to time Anyways This video was fun to watch. Keep making these videos They’re really cool.

Duude i used to love these as a kid, collected so many of them it reached 100+, i even had most of the sets and listed down every single grossery gang character in my notebook lmaoo
I was definitely too old for this since they released when I was 15, but my younger sister was OBSESSED with Shopkins and got a few of her own packs of I think either series 1 or 2 of those lil mini blind bag packs of Grossery Gang minis.
It’s nice to look into the history of the series from the perspective of a fan, it’s definitely made me appreciate this silly little toy line a lot more now
@ True, its more a reflection on how I felt about them at the time since they were mostly marketed towards younger kids (ie that 6-11 demographic) and was far more interested in stuff like FNaF and Undertale since those felt more ‘mature’

I still remember when I opened up one of my first sets of series 3 just to find the gunky oil can but my luck ended there and I never found another limited lol
I had an addiction to the Grossery gang. I do not wish to revisit this phase. I realistically spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on these, and had the full collection of the waves all the way up until the bug strike, minus the limit edition characters. I also had all the sets and exclusives.

I remember these so much! I used to have the series 1 soda can and many more from the other sets! I always the yucky mart playset though and the slushy machine sets but I never got them. I sold them one time to free up space in my room, but I wish I never did cause I miss having these

When i was little we didnt have too much money and so I had the pizza one and some bug one that my teacher took from me but the nostalgia hits so hard

what timing! I just watched your videos on the trash pack and trash wheels yesterday, and then woke up to another one. I really enjoyed all of these, as someone who grew up with the trash pack it was really cool seeing someone else that cares about the series so much, i think you have me beat actually with that sick collection. I actually just got back into all the trash pack stuff because of Moose's new line that's pretty much the next spiritual successor of trash pack and grossery gang. i'd be interested in hearing your thoughts on the mr beast lab swarms
Here in Brazil btw (Florianópolis to be more specific), I still buy the season 1 two packs on a store around here! No idea how they keep restocking em’ but here they are.
We here did not have anything further than season 2 in Brazil, I had to go to the us to get some other stuff.

i remember going past a toy store in a mall and there were guys in front giving away free Grossery Gang blind bags. 1 pack had 1 grossery inside and i got two and both were the Nasty Nachos in both colors. I still have the orange one.

I remember really liking putrid power when it came out, but i was really underwhelmed with bug strike and time wars because they were only 11 minutes long while putrid power was over half an hour

Flush Force is a cool new toy where the things that got flushed in your bathroom ends up in another place getting mixed with radioactive substances in the sewers.
The packaging is great, it could be a toilet or a porta potty with a hole on the top to pour water in and reveal the hidden toy inside.

Series 3 was the s__t when I was younger, I remember having the action figures
i used to own shopkins, my brother used to own grocery gang. We used to make them go war and either make then friends or one of the sides are just straight up annihilated. Im also pretty sure both toy lines used to have an animated series and even a movie (well I know grocery gang got a movie but I don't know/remeber if shopkins did)
