And some days, I just bake a big loaf of whole wheat bread, and eat that with some raw veg. Sometimes I have just bread, vegetables, and water for a week at a time! I never get tired of simplicity, thank god.
I'm going to start doing this. Thanks😊
@@belindarosenheim2322 I had that today! I made whole grain bread out of wheat, lentil, and quinoa flours (about 70% wheat, 15% lentil, and 15% quinoa) and I had it thinly sliced with raw veg as sandwiches with just a little guacamole on each sandwich. Was DELICIOUS!
No Mud....No Lotus..... Ain't that the Truth! Terrific video....reminding me to keep things simple.
Thanks for watching. ☺️
As someone who is always on the lookout for new plant based recipes, I found this immensely valuable. Thank you!
I agree….👍
Everything was so yummy. Just the kind of food I like. I wish I could come round for tea! Many thanks for all the hard work and inspiration. Shell.
Love it. Uncomplicated and nourishing!
Glad you liked it! ☺️
I love this! Your eating style is exactly like mine. 😊 I tell ppl that my recipes are called, “Put food in a bowl and eat it.” 😊 Simplicity and sameness rules in my book. I eat the same things over and over and love it just as much every time. 🥰 My typical dinner is a big bowl of greens with avocado, potato, beans or lentils, carrot, red pepper, green onion, raw garlic and sauerkraut, and topped with sea salt, nutritional yeast and Braggs. Delicious! ✌️🌱
I love this simple way of eating. It really suits me
They all look delicious. I like simple but also get lots of different veggies Always enjoy your videos. Thanks
Buddha Bowl!!!! You're on my page brother!!!!
🌱🕊💚You eat like I do. Lots of huge fresh salads in my favorite wooden bowl plus some cooked quinoa, potatoes, beans, mushrooms etc. After 8 years, husband still doesn’t understand the health message & says I eat gerbil food. Well I’m loving my gerbil food thank you ha! Gone are the years of eating everything Deep South fried; yuk!! For a long time I quit trying to convince him; don’t try anymore. He’s still extremely difficult to live with in his thinking….. peace & blessings! Keep doing what you’re doing! 🌱🕊💚
Wow these look amazing and so healthy. Good for you 👏🏻
Really great ideas! Thank you!
All looks good.
Thanks for sharing 👍🥰 Jasmin 🇨🇭👋
Thanks for watching Jasmin! ☺️
Really loved this!! It was great seeing your meals throughout the 7 days. I wish I could like asparagus, it looked great on those salads😊❤✌🏻
I didn’t care for it as a kid. Or probably just thought I didn’t. Now, I could eat a big bowl of nothing but plain steamed asparagus! 😂❤️❤️
Perfectly simple....i like a good recipe every so often but bringing it back to basics demonstrates to newbies how simple plant-based meals can be. You are nice to watch too❤😊
Everything looks so delicious and nourishing!
Great tips in this one, Jack! I have found that dehydrating food is so time consuming with the prep & then the lengthy dehydrating time that I actually eat more veggies if I just steam them! Prep less, enjoy more!!
Great video. Thanks!
Looks good and easy to prepare.
Inspiration! Thanks Jack. I just got some very nice asparagus ❤
I love asparagus! I could just eat a big bowl of it steamed with nothing on it. ☺️
Feeling motivated! Thanks for sharing!
THANKYOU ❤
Great inspiration as always!
Everything looks so delicious Jack, and I can see the southern roots popping in with the red beans, collard greens and yellow squash! Love it, and would love more of these videos! Thank you so much!
I love red beans! Usually put just a little sriracha on them. ☺️😋
Thanks for sharing. I love this kind of video
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
Would love to know how to cook/steam your beets & sweet potatoes and cook your beans/quinoa please… I never get these right so would help & especially to people new to this way of eating… ❤
I just slice them and put them in the steamer. I check them with a fork and take them out when I like the texture. 🙂
That all looked delicious!
Thank you ☺️
Such a great video concept, Jack! It was really helpful. Thank you as always.
Wow!!! Everything looks so good...🤩
Way to go! I tend to get caught up creating recipes instead of just appreciating each ingredient, but you are an inspiration! Did I miss the link for the curried sweet potato soup?

Great ideas for meals -what sauces/ dressings do you put on your meals ?
thanks Jack 🙌
Do you use sauces in your bowls? Your meals look tasty 😁
Adding a comment in case it helps the algorithm(sp?0
Where did you get that bowl
Jack? Been looking for one just like that! Thank you 🙏
I bought it at Publix. 🙂
That’s a very healthy diet, whole food plant based is the best! Do you take any supplements like b12?
I supplement B12 and Vitamin D. 🙂
Hi do you use raw extra virgin olive oil? I like your meals... do you eat grains?
I rarely use oil. My roommate has it in the kitchen and I probably use it every couple of months. I eat quinoa quite regularly, brown rice less frequently and oats at times. 🙂
@@RawTropicalLiving ❤️❤️❤️
I eat that sort of thing all the time! I just cook a grain and/or a legume, and then add whatever veg (or fruit) was on sale. Usually, it's bulgur wheat, pinto beans, tomato, avocado, cucumber, pureed whole lemon, spices, raw greens, bell pepper, walnuts, more or less variety as desired. As a nighttime snack, I made myself a whole wheat flatbread in my tortilla press, just flour and water cooked in the hot skillet.
I like healthy foods but my problem is that I also like unhealthy foods. Tonight I had some pretzels and a candy bar. How do you resist those temptations or do you not crave stuff like that?
Can’t really say it have any cravings. Guess in the beginning I just crowded the bad stuff out with good stuff and eventually didn’t want the other anymore. 🙂
Jeez, finnaly someone preparing and eating REAL food meals. Not some "let's replicate meat dishes, but with plants" plus all kind of dressings.
Wife here. Are you oil free as well ?
More or less. I use it from time to time; mayber once a month or so. 🙂
those are big bowls i could not eat that in one sitting.
