I'm 73. Through a healthy lifestyle, I recently got myself off allergy, hypothyroid and cholesterol meds. It took a year, of my doctor being mad at me, but now he's ok with my blood work 😂. All gone are those 3 issues, plus a dozen more complaints including brain fog, energy level, bowel issues, sun sensitivity and joint pain. But my goodness, your list of health products is insane to me. I guess for short term one would use all the help they can get. Oh and I lost 40 pounds which was not MY goal, but apparently my body sought it's optimal weight on it's own.
@mimimiller763 I followed the advice of Dr. Brooke Goldner. The short version is " kale smoothie with a heaping tablespoon each of chia and flaxseed, a handful of blueberries (or your preferred fruit) for flavor and sweetness." I quit drinking, smoking and all processed food for the first month, then slowly added back poultry and seafood over the next few months. A gym membership worked well for me after I lost over 40 pounds because I thought I looked too skinny, but quit after 3 intense months. I had not felt stronger, more energetic and pain free since I was 20! I started in 2019, still have one smoothie each day, and occasional processed food. My blood work is pretty good, a little low on B12 and iron, so I supplement.
@minkademko2335 that's great, that's pretty much what I'm getting to do too. Love those morning green smoothies! I add a lot of stuff to them but not the $$$ ones mark does, I add creatine, amla powder, green vibrance, psyllium, mushroom powder. The big thing is to stop all refined sugar, flour and processed foods. Adding salmon, cod liver oil, poultry and started growing my own spouts, looking forward to adding broccoli sprouts to smoothie!
Thanks so much for sharing everything you do and being a guinea pig for us ! I actually do almost all of these things, the cheap ones that is. I live on the largest freshwater island in the world, it's in Georgian Bay Canada. Plunging into cold water is very convenient and absolutely free! LOL I'm currently 65 years old and in better shape than I was at 40 . At that time I was told I'd be in a wheelchair by 50 years old! And, I'm sure that I would have been if I continued listening to Conventional doctors, eating a low fat diet and doing all the right things! Since none of this was working for me I decided to try some different things. Dr Hyman and others like him have saved my life! I cannot thank you enough❤❤❤ These things work! Start where you are and do what you can!
I take liquid minerals and liquid vitamins, bee pollen, an apple a day, plus raisins for strong bones. 3-5 times a week I take blueberries, chopped lemon, and Kale with 4 oz of waters and drink it on a empty stomach in the morning to detox the liver. I just turned 70 and lifting weights plus playing softball. No wheat, no corn, no GMOs. Organic when possible. I walk 3-5 times a week! And, occasionally still install carpet. Jesus is my God and savior 😎
Mark, you're doing a tremendous service to the community by sharing your vast knowledge. I watch your videos and bought your books. I just turned 51 and I'm in the process of eliminating sugar and processed foods from my diet. I'm losing weight and feeling great! I'm slowly working your principles into my life - diet, exercise, sleep, etc and one of the biggest benefits I've seen is waking up and feeling great - sometimes, waking before my alarm and not feeling tired! When you wake up feeling tired and sluggish every morning for so long, you just learn to accept that as the norm. But, it doesn't have to be! Thanks for your time. God Bless.
For stress I pray and meditate on the Bible, the Word of God and I garden. God is good. God bless you all. Thank you very much for sharing this information. God bless you richly.
The bottom line at the end of our lives is that the God of the Bible exists & is the Creator who has given us such truly amazing bodies. At the end of our lives whether good or bad, healthy or not we stand before Him. I am grateful to Dr Mark for sharing what God has enabled him to achieve.
Awesome comprehensive list of what keeps you healthy. You just summed up 25 podcasts in one!!! Everyone just learning this needs to listen to this several times!!! Focused, fact based information!!! Excellent!
My mom is 94 years old. She is in perfect health. She has never taken any medications or supplements. She has never meditated, done yoga, or even followed a particular exercise program. She doesn't eat much protein because she doesn't like meat. She mostly lives on vegetables and starchy foods, especially white bread spread with butter, a bowl of cereal for breakfast, but her meals have always been pretty small. She eats a small dessert nearly every day, often something that she has baked. She leads a low stress life and is a voracious reader. My dad is 89, and he's in good health, too. He only had to have cataract surgery last year. They are both very happy people. I think longevity has a lot to do with genetics and mindset, as much as managing a complicated routine like this.
Mindset, connection, and happiness are super powerful for sure. There are always outliers who seem to be able to get by with poor habits but I believe the older generation had a much better foundation than the younger ones. Less toxicity, less processed foods in earlier years, more nutrient density perhaps? One thing is for sure, chronic health conditions are on an exponential rise and we can't just keep doing what we've been doing to fix that. I know incorporating just the foundations of what Dr. Hyman speaks about is very powerful based on my own experience and those of my family and clients. You don't have to do all the things he shares about here- he doesn't even claim you do, he's sharing what he does and what works for him. Most people coming here are looking to improve their health. May you have the same health span, cognition, and happiness as your parents regardless of how you achieve it.
Not sure where you are from, but a few years ago I rung up this doc at a grocery store that looked so much like you. We got into a discussion about how canned food and sugar is a huge cause of diabetes. Then I found you (same person or not) on TH-cam and I've continued to learn valuable things. Thanks for what you do!
@@Moneymagi troll?? It’s a serious question I eat a lot of canned foods, which I thought was fine to do. but I am pre-diabetic and I’m wondering if I should stop eating canned foods? or or is it one particular food in those cans that causes diabetes?
Hi Mark, Big fan here. Years ago I saw a show (PBS?) you did about “diabesity”. I started the kind of diet you talked about. But fell off that wagon. I’ve been binging on health and wellness info on TH-cam. And the gist of everything I’ve read and studied in medical literature- all supports what you’re saying. So I will get back be making a renewed effort to be consistent with cardio, strength training, diet, stress management and sleep. I’m 67 and have some work to do. But you’ve laid out the plan. I’ve been doing cardio, 2 or 3 hours a week with occasional resistance training, 1 gram of NMN a day, good fats (olive oil, MCT). I’ll need to avoid the starch and bad oils. Thanks for the kick in the pants towards better health!
You look great Mark! My wife was recently diagnosed with Lupus and her and I are going on this Functional Medicine Journey together. We developed a Functional Journal that we are using to help us track all the craziness that comes with this change :) Thank you for all that you do!!!
the zone diet by dr barry sears might treat lupus completely but it has to be 100 percent for 6 or twelve months!its one of the most powerful anti inflammatory diets ever!(period!)and systemic lupus is a result of chronic low grade systemic inflammation!
do the non-($) items 1st. but do take the basic supplements 1. eat high protein(1g/lb body wt-watch leucine level 2.3g)/low glycemic, clean plant rich w/ some vit/min/fat supplements (Vit D3, K2, omega 3's, MCT oil (costco carries), multivitamin, magnesium glycinate, probiotics) 2. exercise, including cardio (4-5x/wk), strength (3-4x/wk), flexibility (daily), stability. i found w/ COVID, AM is best for my body 3. sleep - 7-9 hrs, regular hrs help circadian rhythm. 4. stress - de-stress daily Longevity Switches/Hormesis 1. time restricted eating 2. hot or cold therapy 3. phyto - colorful plants 4. red light therapy ($) 5. ozone therapy ($) 6. hypobaric O2 therapy ($) Longevity supplements ($) i wont list them, but his stack is shorter than some biohackers like bryan johnson or david pascoe testing ($)
So much information and so much to buy/do. I got so worn out just listening to it all. I'll try again when I'm fitter. His other videos are much calmer and easier to follow.
Hello Mark, I am a subscriber and highly value your information. I'm 71 and was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer 3 years ago. I've survived 69 cycles of chemo. I've also had autoimmune disease since 2019. My diet is healthier now than ever, especially w limiting sugar. Thank you for all the diet suggestions. I live in Texas and cannot find functional medicine doctors nearby. There are none associated with the two cancer centers where I'm a patient. I'm also reading Jane McClellan's book "How to Starve Cancer."
One of the best in the world is a clinic available online. It's in Tazmania, called Goulds Clinic. But of course, you have to pay out of pocket. Just in case you want to give it a try. Their lead microbiologist is dr Hawrelak. He has a couple of interviews on youtube.
I'm glad you mentioned them. Stretchy bands. Get the $30 amazon set sunpow. and simpliy fit. Small ones for wrist and arms. Bigger for legs, arms shoulders chest back. Learning how to hold and move them is very challenging. Go slow and high volume. Get a good burn. Set the tension light and go a little more each time. Range of motion is usualy more important and burn. Vs short range.
I wish I could take even better care of my health, but work takes SO much time and energy. When I have a few weeks off, I just blossom into this completely different person. I feel alive, as opposed to chronically exhausted and stressed from work. Guess I'll be able to relax and focus on myself in 31 years when I retire at 70. Yay.
And you don't need to do all the things he's mentioning. Just eat perfect meaning nutritional food and try to move your body everyday with stuff like heavy weights even if it's just a few studs and that'll go a long long way
Once u reach 70 and plan to focus on yourself then it won't give the optimum results you seek then..getting exhausted at work all till 70 isn't a great idea..may be you can do all what's possible now ..foundation you put now on yourself will give you great flight to have that great health once you get retired and put all time on yourself..gud luck..
Thank you for all the great information. I am 84 now and in good health. I have practiced yoga for over 50 years. No drugs. Do my best to eat health. Two years ago I had back surgery. As a result, I have gained 30 pounds. I really want to remove this. The doctor here has not been helpful.😢
This is such great advice! Ultra-processed food is causing such damage to our bodies. I am on a mission to help as many people as I can to learn how to cook simple-to-prepare, delicious and nutritious meals 🥰
You look great Dr. Hyman! You are always smiling and in good spirits. I watch you off and on and enjoy all your good information. I like all the health guru’s here on utube.
I am on a decline. At 75 yrs. I have osteo arthritis, osteoporosis , mast, afib, recent back fracture, have 1 knee replacement and now my left knee is giving me pain , plus I have had a mini stroke in my right eye. A year ago my 101 yr mother died. I now feel depressed and hopeless. I take pills and vitamin D3 but I am feeling hopeless. Please help me before I die. I love your videos and I have 1 of your books. S.o.s.
Whoever you are, please don’t lose hope. Age is no barrier to make your life better. So things have happened to you. You cannot change it but please be positive. You are much much stronger than you think you are. You are not alone.
I'm 53 and not 75. I don't have physical issues but I've had a life time of poor mental health. I literally had to fight to live for years. I lost my mom when she was 83 back in 2020. I'm doing good now and you can too. Don't be afraid to reach out for help. Everything is gonna work out if you don't give up.
I've spent my career working for a dialysis provider, learned much about diet and kidney failure. At 66 and healthy; I exercise, walk daily and maintain my weight on Mediterranean diet. My biggest focus is inner peace. I've seen enough in my career to scare me into good habits. 😊
All good advice. Resistance bands are a great tool but it's also beneficial to carry weight primarily for core stability and overall strength. Walking around holding dumbbells or kettlebells by your sides is a great way to do this.
Can't help but think you need to be quite well off financially to do this 😅 I guess the basics (avoid sugar and processed food, and also workout and staying active) can be done my most.
A little extra money helps for sure but there are low cost you can do as well. The physical activities you can go for walks with a rucksack and there is a lot of homework out routines you can do with just body weight. For the grocery bills I pick and choose my battles because we are lower income. But invest in certain foods and avoid all Ulta processed foods and high sugars etc.
The basics will get anyone where they need to be - whole foods with good quality animal proteins and fats will fill you up and keep you full longer!! 🙂 Our food budget actually went down when we started focusing on quality.
If you can get ground beef for $2.99 do that. It's better than eating empty carbs. Cabbage and celery are relatively cheap. Spice it up. This video describes, I think, a $600/mo/person diet but $200/mo/person is achievable and metabolically decent. SAD can actually cost more. It is indeed disheartening to hear 'I would never eat factory farmed meat' when you want to buy $14/lb grass-fed but it's never going to happen, especially when you're struggling to just not be sick.
Thank you. Awesome information. Really enjoyed all your tips. Q. What is a monthly budget to eat this way, including vitamins and supplements. Hope you can give an estimate.
I joined Function Health recently and I can vouch for it, the whole process is extremely well run and cost effective, and the test results are invaluable. I found out not only some interesting aspects of my longevity profile that were positive - for example, my biological age is over 6 years younger than my chronological age, and most of my key parameters are in normal or optimal territory - but I also got some negative results that I didn't even know about or had only partial data from the standard tests. So I have some things to work on, and I'm basically trying to follow Dr. Hyman's plan as he outlines in this excellent video. I'm not quite as plant-rich as he is, but I do eat a lot of low-carb veggies, nuts and some berries. I don't do the protein shake but I do make a smoothie from goat kefir and A2 milk, along with collagen powder and other things. I probably take even more supplements than he takes, but primarily to manage my blood pressure, glucose, and plaque, all of which are in the mildly elevated range, enough to be concerning but not enough to take prescription meds for. I'm looking forward to seeing if my test results show improvement in a few months; I really like that repeat testing comes with the program, although there is some additional cost if you want to get the full picture.
Outstanding and Awesome regimen. Thank you for this. I have your latest book, and feel so much better at age 73 taking your recommendations & supplements, Pegan diet, intermittent fasting. I exercise daily, swimming a nautical mile for my cardio vascular health , and I am starting resistance training. I have had Hashimoto’s for 42 years now, ( no starches, no sugar, no grains, limited dairy) so Synthroid is the only med I am on but will be seeing a a new specialist soon, who will give me a functional approach, I hope. I’ll be adding your Goat Whey protein shake. I should rehydrate first thing in the morning before my coffee. Your NMN supplement has given me so much energy. I am also on the second round of Big Bold Heath Omega 3,-,HTB-, and Microbiome-Rejuvenate. These have added greater sense of well being. And aside from my Hashimoto’s, I am feeling much more invigorated. Love your podcasts and believe in the functional Medicine approach.
Just as a very basic guide - B vitamins should be taken in the morning because they give one energy (with or without food, altho B12 needs food to be absorbed) - Vit D and K2 also best taken in the morning (with some form of healthy fat) Magnesium is great at night because it relaxes the muscles. Magnesium-threonate is particularly good for sleep. It's best to take most supplements in the morning or during the day. Magnesium at night👍
Thank you for taking the time to share so much of what you've learned and what you live in lamen terms so we can understand. And, you are so down to earth and easy to listen to. God bless
Thank you Mark for all you do and share with us. That is amazing. Do you think you can add to the screen or write down all those products that you mentioned about. Otherwise there is no much help. Thanks alot!
Well done Mark, open and engaging. I’ve followed your track since founding Functional medicine and I see you’re back ahead of plan. The promise is being delivered and if I’d been 10 years younger I would be doing this in Europe. Stay young and on the new open track. Thank you.
we are learning lots of stuff and precious advices! Thanks & lots of joy & peace! i would also be so interested in reading his stories on the blue zones if written.. Thank you for sharing frim your complex experience!
First, you look AMAZING! Second, thank you so very much for this. I am fed up with declining health as I age and THIS guideline is perfect. My only concern...I am a 51 year old perimenipausal woman. Is this still okay to follow? 🙏🏼♥️
This is good stuff. When I was going through med school and residency there was no TH-cam. Well, ok it arrived in 2005 but barely any content for several years. I discovered YT around 2014 (after I had dropped out of medicine) didn't discover that really intelligent MD's (and non-MD's) were making good content like this until about a year ago. I guess I wasn't even searching, I was looking at fitness/workout videos, financial, science and coding videos the last several years. Well....I'm an MD. I was idealistic, as many are, going into medicine because I wanted to provide value to the world. I did practically none of the recommendations Mark talks about during training, they had indoctrinated in us that diet wasn't that important, certainly not supplements. Forget about things like sauna, ice baths, red light, meditation. I Also I didn't realize how toxic our food had become, that meat and cholesterol were not the problem, (salt neither) and actually good for you, and I ate too many carbs. Lots of bread and pasta, chicken parm sandwiches at the hospital cafeteria. You had about 15 min to eat, usually alone. I didn't work out as often as I used to - residency is exhausting, and taking call made my sleep schedule completely irregular. My colleagues didn't want to show any weakness but I know a lot of them were miserable. Some of the ones above me took it out on the ones below. It could have all been more tolerable if there was an esprit de corps and feeling others had your back, mutual support, but alas, I did not find that. I'm a veteran of the 2003 Iraq war, I served as a doc in Iraq...a strange time, but there was a cohesiveness to it, I liked the military, we had a sense of shared mission. Came back from deployment but soon started drinking a lot, was upset about the uselessness of the war, and my Dad had just died after a long ordeal with Lymphoma (I saw up close that one needs to be an advocate, when a family member is in the hospital). Then I started specialty training in Anesthesiology at a top, high pressure program, excited and enjoying it, and doing well, but feeling very distant from my colleagues. I wasn't taking care of myself in really any of these ways Mark talks about, I'm sure my metabolism was screwed up, insulin spiking, almost certainly deficient in Vit D, K2, Mg and many others, and pretty sure my testosterone was way down. I went to a PCP, even asked to have my T checked, he demurred, said no need, my testicles looked normal, and the basic lab panels they ran were all normal. Only thing they offered me was SSRI's which didn't really help, so I drank more, to sleep, and to get just a temporary feeling of hope - when it worked, because it stops working, but by then, you've got a need and an addiction. So, I kind of sabotaged myself. Quit drinking 12 years ago, got back to exercising, became a personal trainer, slowly began to see how important diet, sleep, and other modalities are to health, not just all of the stuff I learned in med school (at which I did exceptionally well, btw). And how ironic, as a doctor I was at best only marginally helping people with their health, while at the same time getting on my own path toward chronic disease - my saving grace was that I always tried to exercise and maintained a good weight, but even that deteriorated - there's no built in time for exercise in residency. Now I've discovered this whole field of "Functional Medicine", and it's motivating me to go back, get certified in that, because I see that actually provides true value to people, and it's what people in our country need more than anything now. I am now much healthier than I was, just a bit older, but a lot wiser. Grateful for docs like Mark, Robert Lustig, Ken Berry, David Brownstein and many others who have pioneered this field. I'm only just starting to discover them so I hope to meet many others and to make some powerful changes for people's health.
Great advice!!... you sure look good for 65... It encourages me and others to keep trying.... stay young or younger...👍👍 Now, my only piece of advice to you would be what Bryan Johnson says, you should try look the age you feel.... if I were you I would shave clean and maybe use a little help with the hair... then you would look awesome, probably the way you clearly feel... stay young my friends...😎👍
For me, if he spoke slowly my mind would become idle, then I would start daydreaming and not hear anything at all. Speaking at fullgas causes me to focus.
Great common sense lifestyle directions! Sprouting can help fill in nutritional gaps in lieu of super expensive supplements. Don't underestimate the value of regular bodywork! Can help a LOT with stress reduction. Good stuff!
To slow Mark down, go to the notch wheel in upper right hand corner by tapping corner. Take the speed down from normal to 0.75. It should help when taking notes. I think all poor doctors are trying to double time every minute they are of service to people. My sil is a GP and I have never witnessed anyone who eats or falls asleep as quickly as him. ❤
Great idea to adjust speed of playback-I did that months ago for all his vids; only problem is that set at 75 %-next notch slower-it makes Mark sound a little bit drunk!😄
You look amazing for any age!(not just the age you are because who is to say what any specific age should look like!) Thank you for sharing your knowledge, it's been so helpful, and I love you're demeaner as well! 😆🥰
I am excited. This should be good. It Is so great for you to share and be the example. Although i an a female in her 40s I know this video is also very beneficial. Thank you Dr Hyman 🙏
He and his guests have lots of great things to do and eat, tests we need, red light type tools, but they never address the fact that MANY are for people that have lots of money.......complete attack on healing the body like he does is crazy expensive which leaves many of his followers "outside, looking in".
I'm 63 yo. I've been on a healthy eating journey for 15 years and I look better than I did in my 30's. However, I was just diagnosed with lupus. I'm devastated! I have done a lot of research and came to the probable conclusion that this freaking disease was caused by eating too much farmed salmon. They treat the salmon with DNA intervention "drugs". There is no history of autoimmune problems in my family. I'm in for the fight of my life. I pray I'm up for the challenge. I'm going to try ozone therapy.
consider checking out steven gundry. hyman interviews him in a YT. i just finished reading his last 5 books (2017 Plant Paradox to 2024 Gut Check). i am intrigued by gundry as his autoimmune patients reverse their symptoms (92% of 200 patients published inn 2028, way more documented in his practice).
Agreed, farmed salmon is horrible for you. Eat wild caught. However, most all illness including autoimmune comes from emotional issues. Lupus has to do with not standing up for yourself. Not speaking your truth, which results in anger at yourself. Need to change your thought pattern, release your anger, claim your power and love yourself. 💙
Hi Mark, I appreciate your work from the bottom of my heart. I'm 57 and have been doing keto with 16 hours IF for the last 18 months . I lost 12 kg and now I'm 55 kg, my height is 5.6. it's difficult to consume 2000 calories and an extra 300 for weight training, walking and stretching My cholesterol increased, i heard Dr. Robert keto is not a good heart health. Can you advise me to reduce cholesterol and at the same time gain an extra 5 kg . Thanks
Plants can be very problematic for many especially if they are high in oxalates and other toxins. Need to be mindful of this when advising what to eat.
So many doctors have started or are affiliated with "health/testing/supplement" companies....and they never fail to mention it. I think the most important supplement that most people are deficit in is magnesium. You'll have to figure out which form is best for you and using a couple of types probably isn't a bad idea.
It’s amazing how these plants figured out they needed a defense system. Incredible. And ppl can’t figure it out for themselves even when highly educated nutritionists and MDs like yourself and Peter Attia explain it all so clearly.
We're the same age as me then? Kind of do most of this, but need to break my addiction to dates. But I don't really eat any refined sugar and definitely no white flour. I feel proud of myself, but consider working at my health for the rest of my life. Thank you loads.
Truthfully, I immediately wonder what the educators are selling when they come on flashing their abs, ha. I'm grateful to all the information this credible Doc is committed to sharing. Changing our health systems from grassroots level up, while advocating on policy and professional level, and maintaining practice. Wow Inspiring! I believe those abs are there😮
I really like what he has to say , There's very few medical doctors that will talk about health and healthy healing, I've worked in healthy healing for many years, in the morning when I get up I have fluids and then I always make an incredibly awesome salad and then I use oil and vinegar dressing and then usually one tablespoon or so of another salad dressing because I have about 15 different ones in my refrigerator, that'll last me a good while , and then after that I have many more fluids until I eat a early lunch, My routine is not sweets my lunch is always without gluten, sometimes it's rice and chicken and vegetables sometimes it's an amazing soup that I make and I put a little rice in it to make it hearty or sometimes I put rice noodles in it to make it hearty. My issue problem right now is and I guess it's from stress I definitely have a tummy, But as far as my diet I think it's pretty darn good but I think I will get his book and try to find ways to get rid of my extra stomach 😉😬
Your list of supplements is overwhelming! And this is in addition to your healthy, balanced diet. For mere mortals like myself shouldn't the food be enough? Enough vitamins, enzymes, protein, etc. etc. another words everything your body needs? Provided the food is of good quality, of course.
Hi, can you please, contact me or let me know how can i contact you, i have something to ask you?
What changes did you make?

I sailed in Georgian Bay on my dad‘s boat when I was a teenager we were in Browning cove ? Very pretty there. Clean chilly water. 😊
Former ER nurse here, love your communication style, knowledge and levity is a good thing!
You look amazing for 65 Mark ❤
Better. yet his energy feels 10 plus years younger, that's pretty amazing.
No he doesn't. His skin is awful.
Go back to a year ago and see the difference in his appearance.
He’s so hot

Do you workout?
@@sl4983 I do. Timothy says that "bodily training is beneficial, but Godly devotion is beneficial for all things.

@MrsKerr1996 all can food causes diabetes, (so its the can? )or certain particular foods that are canned?
@@CarlosSantana-we6tsgod I hate annoying trolls
Looking good sir. Wishing you much good health and happiness ! You help so many !

1. eat high protein(1g/lb body wt-watch leucine level 2.3g)/low glycemic, clean plant rich

Best Video Ever. Thank you so much. You're saving lives here, really. Keep it going please.
Have you heard of Thomas Seyfried? I believe he's on the right track. Good luck
My family and I started the carnivore diet this past mid January. We are all happy with the results so far....
My favorite video ever, i replay this over and over ❤
This is such great advice!

Can't help but think you need to be quite well off financially to do this 😅
I guess the basics (avoid sugar and processed food, and also workout and staying active) can be done my most.
@@danachilds721 You can make time for your health, or it'll make time for you
A little extra money helps for sure but there are low cost you can do as well.
I post type of content regularly about Drs can afford it yet we reg blue ppl cannot 😢sad
Thank you for doing an informative program. Really appreciated. I actually has to play at 0.75 speed because you talked too fast!😅
What specifically are you doing for plaque? I’m slowly doing all veggies.
Very useful information. Thanks for sharing your thoughts ❤
This guy has the best energy!
Dr Mark Could you write the list of supplements and the time you take them?
Following
Following
Just as a very basic guide
- B vitamins should be taken in the morning because they give one energy (with or without food, altho B12 needs food to be absorbed)
- Vit D and K2 also best taken in the morning (with some form of healthy fat) Magnesium is great at night because it relaxes the muscles.
Magnesium-threonate is particularly good for sleep.
It's best to take most supplements in the morning or during the day.
Magnesium at night👍
Thanks for sharing useful and concrete tips and insight 😊

Thanks for your service to our country & our people wish there were more doctors that were functional :(
Great advice!!... you sure look good for 65...

Mark, can you please slow down a little bit? You have a lot of great information, But how can one take it all in as you go at Great Neck Speed.
Breakneck Speed.
You can slow down the playback speed when watching😊
If you are watching on TH-cam you can tap on the screen as it is playing. When you see the gear symbol tap on that and you can select playback speed.
For me, if he spoke slowly my mind would become idle, then I would start daydreaming and not hear anything at all. Speaking at fullgas causes me to focus.

Thank you for sharing, your video is truly meaningful.

Dr Hyman you look absolutely fantastic for your age!
The Mitopure is crazy expensive. Even as someone with a really good income I would not spend $125 for a one month supply.
My thoughts exactly when I looked it up. Geez, just buying groceries is bad enough.
The goat protein is $70 per month . But you know what I spend so much money on crap food and drinks, if I stop that I can afford this
He and his guests have lots of great things to do and eat, tests we need, red light type tools, but they never address the fact that MANY are for people that have lots of money.......complete attack on healing the body like he does is crazy expensive which leaves many of his followers "outside, looking in".
MITOPURE is $112 before tax/shipping for ONE MONTH........
Resistance bands my favorite too. All my gym fits in a small plastic bag😊

Dr Hyman - do supplements not put stress on the liver? How do we mitigate that?
Look into oxalates. Sally Norton.
consider checking out steven gundry. hyman interviews him in a YT. i just finished reading his last 5 books (2017 Plant Paradox to 2024 Gut Check). i am intrigued by gundry as his autoimmune patients reverse their symptoms (92% of 200 patients published inn 2028, way more documented in his practice).
There is a doctor who is healed from lupus. Google goodbye lupus. She mainly used veggie smoothies. Hope you get better soon.
You got this. Wish you all the best in your
healing journey.

Thank you 🙏🏻😊

Thank you for important information
U are amazing ❤God bless you for sharing 😊
Your list of supplements is overwhelming! And this is in addition to your healthy, balanced diet. For mere mortals like myself shouldn't the food be enough? Enough vitamins, enzymes, protein, etc. etc. another words everything your body needs? Provided the food is of good quality, of course.
Thank you Jay
Thank you! I bought all the items so I can make a super smoothie!
Please do a follow on session on the regenerative therapies you are doing and where you go? I know you went to Mexico--would love a follow up .
