    Owned one for 7 yrs now . 10 out a 10 for a good all round 250cc commuter . Holds it's own in that class . Enjoyable.

      Have you done any long distance touring on it plus would it handle 20 stone rider weight

    • @chriscoates2399

      @@DannyT636 I did a little long rides , its quite a well put together bike , taking a 5 minute break here or there refreshes you if need it , I'm 16.5 stone No Problem at all ,
      and
      I've had pillion a few times the bike handles Very Well .
      .
      Do remember it's 250cc
      Handles rides well for class !!
      But
      Think about what your going to do when riding as if your touring long rides you may want larger cc bike ...
      But if it's commuting and occasionally to the next town or up the highway it handles quite well

    I still have my 2013. It never caught on in the States. The ride is remarkably supple. Fuel mileage is incredible and it has been extremely reliable. You nailed this bike on your review! Plus it it dirt cheap to insure. For long trips I have my Triumph America fit out for touring. Cheers from North Carolina.

    Thanks for the vid. I've got my DAS Mod 2 coming up soon and this looks like a good first upgrade option for me from my CBF125. I only whizz about locally, very rare I'd ever need to go on a motorway. I'd like one with a small screen and I'm hoping there are a few top box options for it.

      i am going to do my direct acces soon. how do you go about it, can you do 1 lesson a week till your ready for your test?

    • @dannyskeff
      @dannyskeff 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, I did. I took the DAS lessons with the guy I did my CBT with. He was very flexible and fitted me in for 3 hour lessons (£60) as and when we both had the time. I've passed the DAS now BTW. And, I'm now the proud owner of a 2016 GW250F which I got with just 25 miles on the clock, pre-registration from a dealer. I'm chuffed to bits with it, great bike. Good luck with the DAS Danny. I enjoyed doing it, it was good fun.

    I just sold my Honda Pacific coast which was my commuter for 24 years, not a single problem with that machine. I also just sold my Moto guzzi Norge , I owned that for 11 years. I sold them both because I recently retired and I just wasn’t writing them. All I have left is my gold wing GL 1800, and I just want a little runabout. I rode raced 250s decades ago, RDs. I just love ringing their necks, and you’re not really sticking your neck out. Red lining the gears just to get up to traffic speed makes it seem like it’s faster than it really is. I’m debating on the GW 250 which just came up for sale near me, a KTM 390 duke which seems small physically, or the Suzuki TU 250 which is a throwback styled single.. after seeing a few videos like this on the GW 250, I think I’m leaning that way because it’s a larger motorcycle physically, longer wheelbase, larger wider seat. Over the past few decades, I have never gone over 80 miles an hour on any of my street bikes. Riding well does not necessarily mean riding fast.. in fact, you have to be a better equipment operator, a better reader of the road surface, a better judge of which gear to be in exiting turns, you have to be better at maintaining momentum especially on a machine that you just can’t pull the trigger and get all your speed back after braking For a tight corner. I think a 250 makes you be a better writer if you want to maintain the pace. That makes it more interesting. Almost like playing a video game

    hello my name is Bryan bond I'm from the states I'm looking at getting a gw 250 or a ninja 300 I have 30 yrs exo on bikes mainly cbr 1000 I'm in need of a commute bike and here the highway is 70 to 80 mph. what is your opinion plz

    • @HarryBunnGRVOTV
      @HarryBunnGRVOTV 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Bryan Bond - at those speeds the inazuma really is maxed out and revving hard. If the ninja fits, (I've heard the pegs are very high) I'd go for that.

    Looks nice but why so heavy??? Nearly as heavy as my Aprilia Shiver 750 but with a third of the power. OUCH For that matter the similarly classed Ninja 400 is much more powerful and considerably lighter. Shame.

      The exhaust is 13 kg I found out. Engine is probably over engineered, you can replacement exhaust (if you want) which weigh less than half the original.

    Thank you, Millenium Motorcycles :-)
    After years on a 125 cc scooter and 10 years of motorcycle sleep, the virus broke out again earlier this year. So, with the A2 licence upgrade in my hands, I was watching out for a comfortable bike at a reasonable price.
    It would not have to be the fastest beast on the lane. Some extra power - compared to 125cc - should do well when overtaking a lorry, and a Vmax > 110 km/h should be feasible without having to push the bike to its limits and squeeze it for miles and miles.
    In search of a new bike, I came across the 250 Inazuma. All things considered, it meets my demands very well. The Suzuki provides a most comfortable sitting position for my 183 centimetres, it has enough power (though I admit a full 48 horsepower with ABS is unquestionably desirable for A2 drivers), prices and costs (tax, insurance, maintenance etc.) are low and - last but not least - I like the Inazuma F design and the overall shape of the motorcycle better than others, i.e. the aggressive KTM Duke.
    Your video with your annotations on the GW 250 backed me up and finally encouraged me to sign the Inazuma F contract with the Suzuki dealer. I think for that kind of "experienced beginner" I am, the Inazuma is an excellent choice.
    Thank you very much for the video. It's a pity there are only very few useful videos online which help estimate the pros and cons of that nice 250cc motorcycle.
