I wonder if S.A. might eventually offer gunsmithing services for older models to receive that cut for those optic plates they're offering. I have the Ronin EMP 4" and I keep going back and forth between looking for adapter plates to fit into the dovetail rear sight versus hiring a gunsmith the apply the optic cut.
part of me says that's sacrilegious to have a 1911 that's any other caliber than .45, with rails and red dots on them but, another part of me thinks its cool to mix the old with the new. I love my Garrison though.
So I've noticed with 1911/2011s it seems the rear sights are slaved to the optic plate. I'm sure there's a mechanical/ space limitation reason, but why we can't we have the rear sights mounted on the frame? Any information would be appreciated.

These video are high quality and extremely informative! Thank you! You got a new sub. Great job guys!
Any whispers of a 5" 9mm Coyote TRP with the AOS?......

Same here, same question… I have the TRP full rail… would like to add a red dot.
Plenty of shops can mill it for an optic. C&H Precision, jagerworks…

Will you be offering selling the AOS slides for older models?

Can’t wait to get mine when will they be in stores?
Plastic fantastic 9 mill sounds like an easter egg to a Jefferson Airplane song 😮

Is this one full of cast parts too?
It’s a Springfield, definitely.
What weapon do you prefer?

@@austenzacca2878currently they only make them in 45.

New 1911 looks sweet being optics ready. That Vortex Defender is a complete 100% fail though.
I have the vortex defender XL on my echelon it’s been great

@@venomgt7299 I’m sure you’re talking about the old models. A couple months ago they updated all their red dots much better now
